What a gem restaurant! I’ve been at Saturday night. The restaurant was full but our mains and starters came on time, hot and nice. Waiters weren’t intrusive and gave enough attention to every table, they were nice and polite. We finished our meal with delicious banoffee and tiramisu. We will definitely come back! Expensive. . Food- ugh! I paid £7.50 for a tomato, 3 thin slices of mozzarella, a rocket leaf one basil leaf & half a teaspoon of pesto . My friends bruschetta had ice in it! When she didn’t eat it she was grilled as to why she hadn’t, and when she explained , was harassed about it. Lamentable presentation. Tables really shoved together. Not good.

Booked table for 7 people , for my partners Mothers 60th birthday. Very respectful and accommodating with the booking . Meal and hospitality, they went above and beyond . Great evening, great food and great cocktails. Highly recommend the best Italian in Taunton.

Pasta and calzzone ok, salmon a la grilla ( which is supposed to be grilled) not impressed at all with it...not to mention the asparagus that was mushy... Service and atmosphere good,nice friendly staff.

I've been here 4 times now. It's that incredible that I was there twice last week. The service is always incredible, the food is always amazing and the portions are absolutely fantastic for the price! Drinks are always topped up, the second the glass is empty, there is always somebody there to ask if you want another. Top notch service for sure. 10000% my favourite places to go for food. I will always recommend Venezia to friends and family! The Anatra Arrosto (Duck breast with cherry compote) is just to die for! Can't wait to come again!

This gem of a restaurant never disappoints - indeed, it consistently surpasses anywhere else in Taunton (IMO). Whether it’s just me and my wife, or a larger group of friends, every experience is a delight. Food, wine, service and ambience combine to make each visit into a memorable occasion. Booked a table for Valentine's day and did not expect anything extraordinary. However we were suprised at the attention to detail which went into both the choice of menu and the ambience. They really do everything well her from the small things to the quality of the food. The service as well is top notch with attentive and knowledgeable staff.

I've been lucky enough to have two meals here in the last month. The food is brilliant - every mouthful is delicious - and the atmosphere is great and lively, whilst still allowing you to talk. The staff are also really fast, polite, and willing, and that's so rare in Somerset! All in all, a great night out, thank you!

The food was pretty good, the restaurant is quite narrow and the seating was quite cramped, the staff were attentive and friendly although there was one server who seemed a little bit unsure.. perhaps they were training. Not a bad meal.. very busy 😊 there isn't any parking but residential parking nearby for evening visits.

I have been to Venezia 4-5 times now and have always been pleased with the food and service. It is a calm restaurant that hasn't been busy at the times I have been (normally Thursday evenings or Saturday lunchtimes) which is lovely. I have been with my child as well as with a group of friends. They are excellent at catering for dietary requirements and can do gluten free pasta. They have been great at changing the odd ingredient to accommodate tastes. My son love the pizza, which has come shaped as a rabbit for children. The price point is very reasonable and we will be returning shortly.

We shared a light but delicious Insalata Tricolore with mozzarella tomatoes and rocket. Both enjoyed our beautifully cooked mains - Salmone Zafferano with salmon and creamy risotto, Tagliatelle Pescatore with ample salmon and prawns in delicious creamy sauce. Panna Cotta was likewise delicious. Tiramisu was a very large portion but could have a bit more coffee flavour?
