Delicious Food; brillant customer service; and gorgeous waitress’

Had a delicious meal...we didn't book but was seated right away...staff amazing very attentive....we had pizza and lasagne...was served quick but not too quick..presented lovely ..hot and filling..staff checking throughout our meal if we were OK..lovely cold beers too with a frozen glass bonus...really nice venue to visit relaxed casual day or dress up for the evening...would highly recommend 😀

I had my first visit to Zizzi yesterday and was very impressed. I came with a group of family and friends for a wedding lunch and from the moment we stepped through the door we were greeted warmly and professionally, the whole experience was great and the food exceptional. I will definitely be returning.

My husband and I celebrated our lovely wedding day and had the pleasure to dine at Zizi’s restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with warm smiles and a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. The service was impeccable; The food came on time and our server was highly professional, attentive and enthusiastic. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in delivering exceptional service, and it made the day feel all the more special. The food itself was fantastic and all of our friends and family agreed. It was served warm and fresh. If you're in the area and looking for an exceptional meal, I wholeheartedly recommend Zizi’s restaurant. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience that you must share with your friends and family. I can’t wait for my next visit.Thank you!

The staff in Taunton Zizzi are always superb, friendly helpful polite and upbeat. Very unusual in restaurants these days. Food was perfect, well cooked and very flavoursome.

Oh wow! First trip to the UK...so worried about food and prices but now we know about this place I needn't have had any concerned. Definitely will go back while we are here. Not as good as it used to be the food was edible but not exciting pretty ordinary now will tend to look elsewhere most Italian food is made fresh with raw ingredients but what I had didn’t seem like that

Food was very nice and served promptly. At the end of the meal when we asked for the bill, we were presented with a card machine and told the total. We asked to see the actual bill, as we needed to split it. The waitress (Monika?) tutted, and went to get a printout of the bill. When she returned, the bill was passed to us folded, along with the card machine, giving us little chance to check/read it. It was only when we got home we noticed that an "optional" 10% service charge was surreptitiously added to the bill. At no point did the server even mention this charge, so I fail to see how this was in any way optional. Tips should always be optional, and never added directly to a bill. If the restaurant thinks their servers deserve more, pay them more. I won't be returning.

I have lived in Taunton for ages and am so happy to have finally found Zizzi's. The food was so lovely, the building impressive, atmosphere vibrant (even on a Tuesday) and the staff are so friendly. Rachel made my family feel so welcome. Looking forward to coming again!

Good was fine but service was slow. No one came to ask about sweets/coffee till we went and asked for a waiter, then delivery was so slow I have up and left. I don't know if the problem is staff shortage of poor organisation, but I won't be back.

Lovely restaurant and attentive staff. 9.5/10 Food: 8/10 2 pizzas, prawn starter, Mushroom starter and 2 cocktails. Felt it was abit pricey for our meal £65 and they no longer do NHS/Blue-light discounts which was still okay.

Totally not worth the money. Beef pasta supreme was anything but and looked like sloppy care home food. Butternut salad was tasteless with hard pieces of butternut and the white core of the lettuce/red cabbage.

Nice food just right for a light lunch. Our server Kinga was very attentive to celiac and diabetic requirements.

Super quick service and the BEST pizza (fully recommend the Wagyu pizza with burrata!) Our server Monika was absolutely lovely and really efficient, never fault the food or service here 👌

Nice building but a bit cold and drafty, good service on a weekday lunchtime, good size portions and clean toilets. Quite busy and popular.

The food is of a very good standard and the staff friendly and efficient. It's in a large converted chapel hall so you feel quite small in the large room. There was also an odour in the entrance way on the last couple of occasions that I hope the management are looking into.

Me and my partner had a lovely meal. We both had the pig in blanket bombe which we can definitely recommend. Our server Raquel was fantastic she couldn’t do anymore for us, very friendly.

Visited several times for a family meal. Service and menu good and the place was busy. Found the place to be cold properly because of the high ceilings. No reason not to return.
