The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

We came in last night to get some pizza. We were very impressed with the level of customer service. Marissa the manger was extremely polite and helpful. She directed us to the best offerers available and is genuinely a very nice person to speak to. Needs a raise. Area manager maybe?? Will be coming back.

I ordered two pizza’s and I got two cheese toasty’s with Salami and they did not have pepperoni like it said it was supposed to have. these two cheese Toasties were also opposed to have sausage meat it came with one Richmond sausage cut into four pieces and five bits of salami there was no sauce on this whatsoever asked why I’m calling it a cheese toastie it was the saltiest thing I’ve ever had they didn’t even have the decency to put on mozzarella they put on strong cheddar cheese. I ordered a hot n spicy and it came with three bits of salami and five slices of chilli it was the least spiciest thing it was so salty I had to drinks all my drink within the first few bites. I would not recommend this to anyone especially as it was my mother‘s birthday she was not pleased with spending £30 on a plate of salt with a cut up Richmond sausage in it and some cheddar cheese .when we really ordered pizzas but there was no sauce there was no mozzarella I would not recommend this to anyone .my mum said is ruined her birthday.

The dishwasher was out of action so coffee was in takeaway cups and the cake in a paper bag , which was understandable , but it was all given to us on a dirty tray. The whole place needs a thorough clean and the entrance door looks as though it hasn’t been painted for years. As for the lavatory, the tap spews water all over the user as well as the floor making one fear the worst,,,And then there is no hook for a handbag. We’d have gone somewhere else but were in dire need of coffee after a long session at the bank.

My daughter and I have visited twice here in the last month. We love local and try to avoid chains and support local.. that being said we really enjoyed our pizza here so visited again this weekend gone. The meal deals are really good value. The older kids for £9 is ok.. but the pizza is non-existent. Literally 4 bites. My daughter is within the recommended age range and it says up to 12 year olds. The portion size on that needs to be improved. That being side, in my adult meal deal my daughter had my side as I couldnt eat my salad, pizza, side and pudding. Boxes are available to take away pizza by the way. I don’t like how you have to scan a code, order on your phone and pay that way. I appreciate there are a few that ruin it for others by leaving without paying. I have no issue paying upfront. What i don’t like is the lack of service so to speak. It feels too DIY. When i go to a restaurant you expect to be ‘served’ and waited on. Someone taking your order at the table. When you place your order on your phone it is easy enough - but it asks you to leave a tip when you order/pay. I’m not prepared to do this as i’m doing the ‘serving’ After ordering and helping ourselves to salad we had to ask for glasses to get our drinks. After eating we had to ask for desserts we ordered. So while we love the food the whole customer experience of being waited on in a restaurant has gone. So I wouldnt be happy to tip especially on arrival. Perhaps the option of ordering with the server and paying straight away rather than having to do it on a mobile. You cannot pay with cash here which is explained on arrival as well as being directed to a screen to enter number plate if you use the car park

To my surprise, my friend and I wee had a wonderful dinner a month ago at Pizza Express. Everything, the food, the service and the atmosphere were wonderful. Highly recommended in Gloucester Road 👌

Se detuvo a tomar un café y un aperitivo. Mi cruasán de almendras estaba un poco seco y decepcionante. La rubia morella cereza de mi hija estaba sabrosa. Ambos llegaron en el mismo plato de servir, lo que parecía un poco extraño. Pensamos que era muy caro en comparación con otros lugares que hemos probado en el centro comercial.

40 pounds on 1 large pizza. 1 personal pizza. 1 wrap and 1 portion of chips. Nearly 2 hour delivery, soggy pizzas, uncooked chips and nearly flat cold. Never again

Disgusting that this company uses Uber eats for its delivery service and they don't even attempt to delivery the order. Sat out on the road and then say they couldn't deliver. Made a complaint through the app and the policy is no refund. Will never order again.

Worst and smallest kebab I have ever seen in my life

The court heard how inspectors found rotting, mouldy and out of date foods at the premises. The premises were not adequately pest proofed, equipment and rooms where food was prepared were dirty and large accumulations of rubbish, grease and dirt were observed within the rear yard. A share as I'm fed up with this kind of establishment who have the trust of the people they serve to bring them decent and safe food. 3 times you have been warned ! Get out of this business !!!

Pizza was lovely, warm, fresh and tasty.Would definitely recommend and be ordering again Delivery was spot on.

Having had a dreadful order in December 2024 and , giving the benefit of the doubt, I called to let them know the food was extremely late and stone cold. The manager said if I rang next time I would get the food free of charge off we had the same order. Today 1/2/2025 I rang at 5.15pm to be told I had to wait till 6pm to speak to the manager (who would be calling me) to discuss the order. I waited until 6.20pm then called myself. Order was reluctantly agreed and I was told it would be an hour. We waited 1hour 10 minutes then called to find out when our order was being delivered to be told it would be 30minutes. After 30minutes I called again, when I said where is my order I first called at 5.15pm ( considering it is now gone 8pm) the manager just hung up on me! Absolutely disgusting customer service and considering the first order was so bad it should have been exemplary to make amends.

I have been to this pizza hut throughout the years many times before but have never experienced such an awful dine-in at Pizza Hut until today. I arrived with my partner who ordered separately we ordered our pizza, sat down, and collected our salad which we were happy with. the fellow who showed us to our table was more than helpful to us despite the other staff being in the way of hideous. Our pizza came after a 40-minute wait and only after we had asked for where it would be. at first glance, the pizza looked okay. but when I tell you it was not is an understatement. I took 3 bites out of the first slice with my partner being the same noticing that it wasn't quite right. After letting go of the pizza our fingers were quite literally dripping with cooking oil. I am not one to complain about food and I like to eat what is given to me. however, the feeling I felt when my lips were caked in oil. I went to complain because if we continued to eat the food in that condition it would have left to feeling ill or worse. they offered to remake my pizza but then commented "I can't promise it won't be the same again" but why? why should my pizza be pooling and drenched in oil? I understand that there will be some grease because of the cheese. however, we could drag the pizza through the tray it was on and it was leaving a snail trail. we waited 10 minutes, only to be given the pizza in the same condition. the girl I complained to literally plopped it in front of us and walked off. we saw the condition of the pizza and refused to pick up a slice. Not 10 seconds after she ran off without saying anything, this guy turned up asking how our pizzas were. i refused to eat them. Shown him the absolute trail of oil the pizza made and asked for a refund. This is where I had another problem. The guy started being sassy and rude toward me and my partner. When I asked for a refund the worker said "Oh really? oh, are you sure you don't want it remade a third time? sure you don't want a pudding?" Like really condescendingly. Like he was talking down to us. I had to say firmly that no we just wanted our money back so we could leave and order elsewhere. He said okay and angrily stormed off. never to return. He avoided us by taking out other customer orders and not following up on the refund. we were nice as anything and we just wanted our food. Because of this, we had to flag down the guy who seated us, and he was nice and helpful and he sorted our refunds out for us. The single slice of pizza my partner had eaten had caused her to be sick about an hour later in the mall at Cribbs Causeway. I have never had a more disgusting experience at Pizza Hut and it has made me think twice before going there again. I suggest the staff are retrained on customer service skills. and the Chefs retrained too.

Ordered food, accepted order and never delivered. Submitted a delivered response to the app which I ordered through which makes a refund incredibly difficult.

My salad on my special burger on was on the bottom so the bread was all wet the meat was like rubber we spent over £25 aswell best stick with haruns
