Costa in Mendip

The dishwasher was out of action so coffee was in takeaway cups and the cake in a paper bag , which was understandable , but it was all given to us on a dirty tray. The whole place needs a thorough clean and the entrance door looks as though it hasn’t been painted for years. As for the lavatory, the tap spews water all over the user as well as the floor making one fear the worst,,,And then there is no hook for a handbag. We’d have gone somewhere else but were in dire need of coffee after a long session at the bank.

We have visited twice this past week , and can only applaud the great service we have received here . With the Staff going the extra mile on both occasions . Being extra helpful to our requests Well done all ro

Visit spoiled by bossy staff member, loudly barking out Covid instructions. I’m not a child. We all want to be covid safe and appreciate the extra workload and pressure your staff are under. We still want to relax and enjoy our coffee in peace. I’d like to be able to view the cakes on offer to help me decide what to choose. Don’t shoo me away. I would have bought something, if you’d only let me look. Oh, and just maybe, don’t shout at other people about covid safety whilst wearing a visor without a mask?
