Papa Johns in West Dorset

Having had a dreadful order in December 2024 and , giving the benefit of the doubt, I called to let them know the food was extremely late and stone cold. The manager said if I rang next time I would get the food free of charge off we had the same order. Today 1/2/2025 I rang at 5.15pm to be told I had to wait till 6pm to speak to the manager (who would be calling me) to discuss the order. I waited until 6.20pm then called myself. Order was reluctantly agreed and I was told it would be an hour. We waited 1hour 10 minutes then called to find out when our order was being delivered to be told it would be 30minutes. After 30minutes I called again, when I said where is my order I first called at 5.15pm ( considering it is now gone 8pm) the manager just hung up on me! Absolutely disgusting customer service and considering the first order was so bad it should have been exemplary to make amends.

Terrible service. Loads ordered. It all arrived late and cold. Pizzas arrived cold. Chicken was undercooked and chewy. Not good at all.

Ordered an XXL pizza for collection. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Same price as just the large at Dominos. And they’ve gone right down hill. Highly recommend.

disgusting , takes 2 hours to delivery pizza , and was 40 minutes delivery when i am on the same road as the store ,. pizza was cold make me ill drivers cant find address even though its on google maps and on the same road ! , its not hard to find a address if you a delivery driver , i have been a courrier pizza cold and made me ill puked it up later that night prob due to it being laying around for 2 hours wont be ordering ever again from this place and i tell you all to AVOID better to go to napoli wont be long before this place gets shut down ALSO you wont ever get a refund from this place so you forced to take cold pizza

Order for Papa Johns money come out of my bank by order never went throw called them up and said about it they told me to look through my emails to see if the order was confirmed but got nothing and said that the money will go back into my bank but did say how long and l will never order from them again and don't recommend this to anyone, this will be my last experience with Papa Johns as they that don't lister to their customers and what they have to say and do nothing ablaut it bad experience never again. Never understand how they are still open until this day with so much bad experience for customers and they still not listening or caring about their customers.

Always have a pizza from here when on holiday in the area, but this year was a bit disappointed by the service. As usual the food was very good. However, we ordered online for collection at 7.15pm, but when we arrived the food wasn't ready and it took another 15 minutes for us to receive our order, with no apology for the delay.

Came into store to order today, won’t be returning though. Disgusted to see the girl making my food was letting her hair dangle all over the food she was preparing, not to mention her nail polish chipping off into the food too. Basic hygiene when it comes to food shouldn’t be an issue but seems this store can’t manage that

Just had delivery and not impressed with the food. One of the extras was wrong. Ordered bacon topped tots with dip and although said was this on box it wasn't. It was chicken pieces. Pizzas were tough and toppings very sparce. Not gonna be using Papa johns again

What can I say...so disappointed. Both pizzas I ordered for delivery were Luke warm on arrival, very little topping...awful. Will certainly not be using them myself again....I have a 50% off voucher but still not worth anywhere near the money...totally awful.

Waited over an hour for delivery. Store then phoned saying the would be another 30 minutes at least. Cancelled order and asked for a refund. Store did not issue refund so will have to go through the Paypal dispute system. NEVER AGAIN

Just dont bother, slow delivery of incorrect pizzas, called the store and offered delivery of the correct items only to receive a call to say the delivery drivers dont get paid for re delivery on the stores cockup. Go elsewhere, I will

Order pizza, eta 19.10hrs, no pizza after 20 minutes, after messaging just eat, they said it had been delivered, why would I messsge if it had, well, it arrived 38 minutes late, driver said its the computer system that tells the customer its been delivered, dont call me liar whos after free food, not in my nature, after telling just eat ots been delivered and its cold, a refund was issued, dont make someone look like a liar when they are not. When Papa Johns first opened in Weymouth, I was happy. In the past I had always been happy with the quality of their pizzas, prices, and love that they always give you the little chillis in the corner of the box. For about a year I was a frequent customer, happily ordering every couple of weeks, and never had a complaint to make. But then the quality fade set in... They stopped adding the chillis in the pizza boxes, started getting incomplete deliveries. Most of the time I was happy to turn a blind eye, as I was a loyal and happy customer in the past. I always had a £2 coin for the delivery driver, who was always polite and friendly. However, some time in 2018, I made my last order. I opened the front door, and greeted the delivery driver with a usual cheery "Hi there, How's it going?" Only for the disgusting, depraved, creep to ignore me and not respond. Needless to say, the £2 coin stayed firmly in my pocked and I closed the door without getting my pizza. Not that I'd ever want food served to me by such a filthy, arrogant, disgusting waste of oxygen... I can tolerate mistakes, or slow service, or even quality fade. It's a sad reality of living in the modern world. But I won't tolerate rudeness in any way shape or form. I've not ordered from them in two years, and strongly suggest everyone else avoid them at all costs.

I used the order in advance service to collect later and everything was as ordered and cooked to perfection! I’d recommend the chicken bbq and garlic bread. You have to try the warm cinnamon scrolls... cinnamony, gooey and sweet!

Staff were scruffy not all dressed the same, dirty overalls, people hanging around with crash helmets on behind the counter made me nervous. Garlic cheese pizza was over cooked, you could snap bits off, and I was asked if I was alright MATE!!!!, very poor.
