Lovely staff, amazing food. It’s very family friendly and the pasta is very, very good and well priced. Ice cream also great and coffee tastes lovely. Altogether - such a great place to have by a kids park!

After spending 4 days in Brighton, we just did not want to eat any more fish and chips. Somehow we came across this restaurant and we were not deceived at all! 2 minutes after having sat down, they served us some soup for free. The pizza we ordered was absolutely delicious (it reminded me of the pizza tonno I ate in Rome), the salads look fantastic and are great as well. The staff is welcoming and the prices are reasonable as well. I can only recommend it!

We had walked past this place a few times, always busy and Italians eating there- always a good sign. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, professional but not over bearing. We will definitely be back

After reading the excellent reviews of this lovely restaurant I booked it for three of us on my husband's birthday . It was our first visit and we were delighted with the experience . The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We each had three courses , all of which were delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. The service was first class. Our waitress was very attentive and Billy, the owner, was a wonderful host. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Did order any food. The glorious smell of fresh brewed coffee tickles your senses when you walk in. It's a quaint shop focusing on real coffee, but they also offer smoothies, ice cream, and a few treat options. It's beautifully decorated with art that may be original and possibly local artist, but I'm not sure. There's also merch for purchase. You can sit the back area with a coffee and a treat while you work or surf the web, or you can enjoy the weather in the small sitting area out front. The exposed brick and ceiling, along with the old school equipment makes for a unique experience. Music was playing at a very comfortable level. Easy place to sit back, work or socialize.

I had dinner with my brother and it was a fantastic evening. Excellent food, great cosy atmosphere AUTHENTIC Italians running the restaurant so we had a brilliant experience.

¡La mejor pizza! Me gusta la pizza y es difícil encontrar una pizzería destacando. Tengo que decir que Nanninella hizo una de las mejores pizzas que he probado. Cada ingrediente es muy fresco y también tuve una ensalada de cohetes. El ambiente del restaurante es muy agradable también, siendo pequeño, con un personal muy amable. Buon appetito!

Esperó durante más de una hora para llevar pizzas de The Gorilla Kitchen en dos ocasiones ahora en The Star en Steyning. Nos dijeron en ambas ocasiones que la espera sería de media hora. Cuando le planteé esto al tipo que cocina la Pizza (en una furgoneta en el parking ) me dijo que tenía que esperar hora y media cuando salió a comer hace poco y que no se quejaba (¡así que yo tampoco debería! ) Lástima porque las pizzas son buenas, pero no se las recomendaremos a nadie en Steyning. Muchas familias jóvenes también esperan en el aparcamiento con un aspecto muy harto.

Real Italian food in a small intimate restaurant with a hospitable personal atmosphere

Went in to ask about food allergies. Initially the staff said there are nuts in the kitchen but it would probably be okay. I then asked about cross contamination as they have a pistachio pizza and it turns out they use the same oven to cook everything so definitely not nut allergy friendly. Also use cheese etc with nuts
