Laz in the park in Brighton and Hove

Lovely staff, amazing food. It’s very family friendly and the pasta is very, very good and well priced. Ice cream also great and coffee tastes lovely. Altogether - such a great place to have by a kids park!

Rarely does a week go by that doesn’t include a visit to Max at his cafe. These are my favourite things… Always a friendly welcome. Great Italian food and generous portions. Good coffee. Jude’s Cornish ice cream (I like the coconut flavour) Air fried chips The banana bread!! Recently it was my twin’s 2nd birthday and he saved us a table and we had a lovely time with our family. All seating is outside but there is a covered area and a toilet that is always clean. It sometimes gets very busy but if you are patient and kind it will be worth it.

I go to Max’s cafe most weeks with a friend. Max and team are always smiling and helpful, the coffee is lovely and the food is delicious. I recommend the air fried chips, they are incredible. They have outdoor seating, including loads of table under a big shelter for the worst of the British weather.

I have returned here many times since discovering Laz over a year ago when I was blown away by the incredible food! You would not expect restaurant quality food in a local park but that’s what’s on the table. Fresh pasta, delectable homemade lasagne, authentic Italian flat bread sandwiches made with high quality fresh ingredients. The menu caters for everyone with air fired chips, organic ice cream and great coffee. My son who is 8 declared the happy slice cake the best he’s ever had. The owners are charming and dedicated, they thoroughly déserve this place to be a roaring success. I wish they’d take over the in Preston park to be honest. I can’t recommend this place enough! 10/10.

Mi esposo y yo nos topamos con este encantador café por casualidad mientras probamos el nuevo espacio de trabajo conjunto cerca del parque comercial Aldi / be & Q. Así que llegó la hora del almuerzo y tuvimos que encontrar un lugar cercano que no vendiera comida basura como muchos lugares justo enfrente del parque comercial. Y entonces vinimos aquí y. . . . . ¡Qué gran sorpresa encontrar un lugar que venda opciones saludables a buen precio y servido con una sonrisa! Max, el dueño, es encantador y nos preparó dos piadinas realmente sabrosas. Me dijo que ha estado abierto desde septiembre del año pasado y le deseo todo lo mejor. Si venimos a trabajar a Plus X con regularidad, ¡definitivamente volveremos!

The food was amazing. Also it is positioned in a nice park, perfect for light walks and a good plce to bring children!
