The best restaurants serving Italian food in Brighton and Hove South East

Fantastic authentic Napoli pizza! This was the best pizza we’ve had in Brighton, especially take away. We had a Napoli, Diavola and a mozzarella and garlic pizza. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be ordering regularly. We have visited Naples many times and this is just what you would get in Napoli.

Having not been well for a while we remembered what great food we had at Galeleos So after an absence of 2 years we revisited for my first evening outing in a long time and it was great, food great, atmosphere and service. Hopefully this will again be a regular destination really is a hidden gem

Absolutely loved our pre-theatre dinner at Franco Manca in Brighton! We didn’t have a reservation and thought we might be out of luck, but thanks to Maria’s excellent customer service, she managed to find us a spot just in time before our show. The food was exactly what we needed—fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour. The sourdough pizza bases were perfect, and everything came out quickly without compromising on quality. Great atmosphere, efficient service, and a smooth experience from start to finish. Huge thanks to Maria and the team. Franco Manca is now our go-to for a pre-theatre meal in Brighton! Last minute visit due to travel plan cancellation as a result of the Heathrow incident on 21 March 2025. Have visited here before on a Sunday in Winter and had the roast chicken. Had this again - their roasts are thoroughly recommended. Huge portions with great service.

Fui aquí por un chocolate caliente y terminé comprando un Bailey’s hot chocolate, que estaba delicioso. El servicio al cliente era genial y el personal aquí era tan encantador y acogedor. Sin embargo, el gerente era un poco poco poco profesional y parecía ser muy micro - la gestión del personal.

Doesn't seem to have a physical location/restaurant anymore like the google photos and location data suggest. Circled the block twice in the pouring rain looking for it and it just wasn't there. Seems to be a private kitchen for delivery only now.

My food was ok. My friends was cold and had a very strong aftertaste of what we think was olive oil. The music was very loud so it was not a relaxing atmosphere. The waiter took my friends dishes away before I had finished and then we realised he had taken our pot of tea as well. Won’t return.

Excellence food and service. Really friendly restaurant. This is our go-to place for Italian food. The cakes are also lovely.

Fantastic, fresh and tasty pizzas with great vegan choices and quite reasonably priced. Excellent and fast service. They fit in quite a few tables which makes it a little cosy but they manage it well. We've enjoyed deliveries too and are never disappointed!

Great food and a real taste of Italy. I ate alone as here on business and had a spicy sausage pizza, peroni red, vanilla gelato and an espresso. Couldn't fault the food nor the service.

We were a group of four and had an absolutely wonderful experience here. One guy, working solo, prepared fresh homemade pasta, gnocchi, and pizza for all of us in under 15 minutes. The speed was impressive, but the taste? Absolutely extraordinary. True Italian flavors, simple and perfect. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, with beautiful Italian radio playing softly in the background, adding to the whole vibe. We paid only £60 for four people, great value for the quality of food and service. To top it all off, we accidentally left one of our bags behind, and the owner ran two streets after us just to return it. Incredible hospitality. 5/5. Easily the best Italian spot we’ve been to. Highly, highly recommend!

Visited the Hove restaurant. Tommasso was extremely attentive, funny and knowledgeable. The other staff I spoke to were equally as friendly and enthusiastic. We did the bring in a pineapple deal (finishes end of March) for the Bella Disgrazia which hopefully will stay on the menu permanently as it was delicious.
