Pizzeria da Gennaro in Brighton and Hove

Fantastic authentic Napoli pizza! This was the best pizza we’ve had in Brighton, especially take away. We had a Napoli, Diavola and a mozzarella and garlic pizza. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be ordering regularly. We have visited Naples many times and this is just what you would get in Napoli.

As a Neapolitan living in Brighton, this was the best Italian food I've had in the UK over the last four years by far! We ordered a pizza, saltimbocca and two plates of gnocchi during the two days and everything was AMAZING! Thank you so much!, I will be ordering again and again. I wish I could give you more than five stars and even though I'm a student I think you should charge a lot more, especially via Deliveroo.

Im Italian and have been living in Brighton for 7 years and can say this pizza is the best Italian pizza in Brighton. If you want to experience the real Italian pizza this is it!! The dough is light and puffy like just the Napoli pizza makers can make. The tomato sauce and toppings are imported directly from the south of Italy, bringing the best right to us, here in Brighton. I’m a huge pizza nerd and will recommend this pizza to anyone who’s after great quality in taste and love for the real pizza tradition.

Once again I was on a business trip in Hove. I went to eat at my favourite place again. I understand it’s under new management and noticed a light refurb. Great good. Again what delicious pizza I had and the chefs do a great job with passion. Once again we’ll done guys you truly make a surberb pizza and see u soon. Thank you

Pizza enorme, buonissima e lievitata a pennello, la consiglio a chi vuole sentirsi in Italia. Tutti scrivono Pizza nella loro insegna ma pochissimi la sanno preparare così buona.

I’ve had to say I’ve had many pizzas in Brighton and by chance I happened to order a pizza from here.The pizza was absolutely delicious. I’ve always said in Naples is where you find the best pizzas in the world and this was like having a pizza in Naples.I travel to Brighton often and I think now this is where I will be ordering my pizzas from. Food was absolutely disgusting, me and my 2 friends all went for a margarita pizza and it was completely dry and burnt! Avoid at all costs!

The best pizza in Sussex by far. We absolutely love it. We have friends from Napoli and when they come home they want pizza from here. Say no more...

I ordered pizza for delivery as my usual places were closed on Boxing Day. Was pleasantly surprised. Very good pizza. I saw a few recent bad reviews so after my positive experience I thought I should share.

Had a Pizza delivered this evening with some croquettes these were very salty and had to throw them away,croquettes should be soft inside and a crispy coating on the outside. I ordered the Pizza with the six different slices,the pizza dough was very flabby and have never tasted one like this before.Have eaten many pizzas in Italy and have made them many times myself. Sorry to say these things but was looking forward to a Pizza but ate very little.

My husband ordered us two pizzas which had far too much cheese on it, ridiculous amount on it, my husbands pizza was extremely dry and the sausage meat so fatty, when I called to speak to the lady she didn’t seem bothered or willing to offer a resolution, I told her we won’t be ordering again, for the sake of the minimum costs it would be to replace the pizza she has now lost out on two customers that live on the area

My brother lives near this place and rcommended it. I'm not usually a Pizza fan but the ones we got from here here were fantastic! Open kitchen so you can watch it being made. Taste and texture far better than places like Dominoes or Pizza Express.

it is for sure a top 10 pizzeria in Brighton huge pizzas full of toppings. i have tried few pizzas in Brighton and this one is my favourite.

Authentic Napolitan pizza. I have tried pizza ricotta and capricciosa. No word about quality, price and service, really recommended.

Ordered the Vesuvio which promised six different slices and a struffed crust. What arrived was a wet pizza in which most of the toppings (including the crust stuffing) had slid to one side of the pizza. I imagine when it came out of the oven there were defined slices of different pizza but unfortunately it did not travel well at all. Had to oven reheat and it was tasty but a mess :(

I was with some friends watching italian serie A at home, we order some pizza and Panuozzo spot on for quality, quantity and service. I really recommend this pizzeria to all people.

I I have eaten Neapolitan sausage, Neapolitan broccoli and smoked mozzarella. Lovely really good like in my country in Naple.

Forget about Pizza Hut, Domino's and Papa John's!!! This is the pizza you want to eat! I collected 2 pizzas today from Pizzeria da Gennaro and I can tell you that: the location is very nice, the staff is extremely friendly, the service was fast and the pizzas were huge!!! Good value for money! They tasted like they came straight from Naples! Also had some graffette napoletane as dessert, OMG, they were sooo good! Will certainly come back for a true taste of Italy. Thank you guys :)

I ordered two pizzas today and they were with me after not even half hour.The pizza is really special, very good and quite a big size too for the price. The staff is always really friendly and kind.Def one of the best in town.

saturday i ordered a delivery from them for 21:30, they came at 20:35, nearly one hour before, so when my partner came back from work he had to eat a very cold pizza. on the plus side they sent us the wrong pizza, with olives, and when i called them saying that i'm allergic to olives and i couldn't eat that pizza, they just said me that they were very busy and they didn't have time to bring me the pizza which i paid for. they didn't apologize at all for the mistake, they just said all they could do it was to send me the correct pizza the day after ! it's ridiculous, i'll never order again from them.

Very nice proper pizza from Naples delivered at your door. The staff is friendly too. 1hr delivery but it was a busy Saturday night.would def recommend it!!

Hey what can I say, this is as real as it gets. You can get your YUMMY pizza and practice your Neapolitan at the same time. In this unassuming corner of an off licence real pizza and other typical pizzeria’s offering can be found.

If are you looking to taste the authentic pizza from Naples you have to try this one. Perfect combination between fresh ingredients and original Neapolitan's chef. Recommend to all of my friends.

People need to forget the likes of Domino's and Pappa Johns. This place is superb and great value too. Hidden away but a true taste of Italy.

I was for the first time in this beautiful English town I couldn't believe my eyes when I noticed a takeaway pizzeria napoletana ... I ate a real Neapolitan pizza in Brighton ... I'm coming back for sure!

Very good quality of the food, quick service at great value! I have tried today pizzeria da Gennaro and it really surprised me, i ordered 3 pizza delivered (free) and it tasted like the proper Neapolitan pizza ! Try the calzone ripieno! Highly recommended!

authentic, quick service, kind staff. I have been in Naples and i can taste here the same pizza than there👍🏻you can try the best food from Naples with original ingredients.

We had 6 pizzas for a birthday dinner, they really were great, super authentic and great value for money. Lucky to have this on our doorstep we will be back!
