The best restaurants serving Italian food in North West

Ordered the lobster ravioli after enjoying it elsewhere in the past and couldn’t finish it due to the smell. Probably for the best as it gave me food poisoning

We booked a table for 7 of us. Service was slow, so it dragged the night out, but the food was nice. There's no "drinks" menu, but they do have a wine list, but a few of them are only sold by the bottle. So drinks were disappointing for me. I ended up settling for a lemonade because everything else I asked for wasn't available or was only sold by the bottle and I felt awkward holding up the waiter. I much prefer places to have a drinks menu. Overall, I'd go again, but I'd go earlier so we wouldn't finish so late.

If I could rate it less I would. Slow unfriendly service. Help yourself out and just visit somewhere down the road.

Nice food, however we were plonked on a tiny table for 4 of us cos they were busy, even though we had booked already. Food was nice but rushed us a bit. The icecream had cling film in… told the girl waitress who was lovely and offered us a drink or free icecream. We didn’t want one, the head waiter blamed us for putting it in ourselves! It was in our daughter’s icecream, why on earth would we put it in ourselves?! Absolutely disgusting! Won’t go back at all now! Service is dreadful. Not enough staff on, the girls are rushed off there feet and he is just stood there like king of the manor thinking he knows best!

Best Italian around the Wirral service is exceptional 5 star establishment

Excellent good for value, nicely cooked Italian food. First time visit for my son’s 18th birthday. Service was excellent too.

I recently visited Villa Bianca and it was an absolutely awful experience. First off, the food was stone cold when it arrived at our table. I’m not talking about slightly warm, I mean it was ice cold like it had been sitting out for hours. How can a restaurant serve food like this? When I mentioned it to the staff, they barely acknowledged it and didn’t even offer to fix the problem. Speaking of the staff, their attitude was downright rude. They seemed completely uninterested in helping or even being polite. No smiles, no effort to make us feel welcome, just cold and indifferent service. It's honestly the worst service I’ve had in a long time, and it really ruined what was supposed to be a nice meal. Don’t waste your time or money here. Would not recommend to anyone!

Meh, so slooooooow. After hearing about the hype, I was really disappointed. The menu was, in my opinion, limited. Our first choice of main was sold out, at 7:30pm, hardly late for a Saturday evening. The suggested alternative a seafood risotto took approximately 45 mins and when it came it was saltier than the Dead Sea. The waiting staff were lovely, but too few and rushed off their feet.

The pizzas here are excessively pricey. We ordered pizzas number 6 and 10, and while they were acceptable, they certainly did not justify their high cost. We also got mozzarella bites and “selected” prosciutto, but both were far from fresh. On a positive note, the service was commendable.

Been here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. First class in every category.

We just love this place. It was our third ever visit this evening and it consistently hits the spot. Really great Italian food, attentive service with a smile and just a great place all round to enjoy a meal with friends and family. Cocktails are particularly impressive also! Recommended and will be returning again and again!

Came in over valentines with my girlfriend, great menu lots to choose from, food fast and very delicious. Ribs melt off bone and steak the best I’ve had. Service was excellent would go here again
