We decided to come here last night as it seemed quiet and I’d previously eaten at another location and really enjoyed it. When we arrived, there were 2 men working there tables and one of them said we could “sit anywhere” There were a couple of other tables who seated after us as well but it was still pretty quiet. We then had to wait 20 minutes after sitting down and got completely ignored by them. One of the men actually served a table of 2 men who’d come in after us and was having a really big conversation with them so not sure if he knew them on a personal level. I think if one of them had apologised for the wait or said they would come and serve us soon, we’d have been fine with that but it was really odd that it felt like we were being blatantly ignored. This also happened to another table who ended up leaving as well. To add to insult, as we left one of the men was standing at the welcome desk and watched us leave, didn’t say anything like “sorry you’ve had to wait” just stared us out as we left which was so odd. Never felt so unwelcome! Only to positive is we ended up going to Rudy’s who were a lot busier and still managed to get served, eat and pay within a reasonable amount of time - and their staff were polite!

We had two pizza's - which weren't particularly good.... hardly any toppings, and slightly undercooked/doughy. This was at 5 o'clock and very quiet - so no excuse really, therefore had the service charge removed. Wish we had gone to Rudy's instead!

The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly and approachable. The pizzas were tasty and enjoyable, but the starter was a letdown. I ordered the bruschetta, priced at just over £6, and received a small, soggy slice of French bread with an unappealing mush on top—far below expectations. While I’m usually happy to tip, I was surprised to see a 10% service charge automatically added to the bill without any mention beforehand, which felt a bit presumptive. Overall, despite the pleasant service and good pizza, the disappointing starter and unexpected service charge mean I’m unlikely to return.

Had the experience of trying Franco Pizza last night from home. Bought 4 pizzas and very disappointed on the outcome. Even though all were different toppings, there was no flavour or value for money. Spent £80 on 4 pizzas and one side platter. Would have spent £40 most.

Best cheesecake I've had in ages!!

We ordered delivery through Uber Eats. "No4" Pizza was stone cold, undercooked, dry, had one thin slice of mushroom on it, and pizza hadn't been sliced as we had requested (we were in a hotel room so had to rip it apart with hands). Really poor, and we won't eat with them again.

The pizza ("Franco's favorite") was great and served quickly. The only negative thing is that they use that bad practice of including an "optional" service charge in the bill by default. You make people uncomfortable to ask to exclude it from the bill (which I didn't though) if the service is just ok, not bad but not exceptionally great either.

Now this is a great place to eat a great pizza! And don't forget to order the tiramisu..... Simply delicious. Don't consider going anywhere else. Waist of time.

The meals were delicious! The chef very thoughtfully gave the recipe for the tasty tiramisu afterwards.

Top service. I was in a hurry, and the manager (I believe Antonio) - was super quick setting me up with a great tasting pizza (as usual) during my lunch break. Went the extra mile - will definitely go again.

A cheeky lunch with friends, we where served by Kane who was great, the pizza was 10/10

Had dinner here on a Wednesday night with a group of 7. It didn’t look busy and we were easily able to get a table outside. Waited a while to even place an order but we did eventually. We ordered drinks, starters and pizzas and ahead of most other tables. Starters came after 45 mins to an hour. Pizzas came after an hour and a half (and after most other tables). There was a token apology about being ‘busy’ from the waiter who didn’t actually seem to give a sh!t. One of the group had been the week prior during the week and waited a long time as well on a quiet looking evening, so seems to be a trend. Other than that the food was as expected. No complaints, but not as good as Rudy’s Pizzas for neopolitan style.

I went there once the food was delicious and the stuff were really friendly and then I just had to go again the next day. It was so nice! Viva Italia ❤️🤍💚

This was our first visit and what a find. Reasonably priced food and drinks. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the food was served quickly.

The food was great. Really liked the pizzas. Franco Manca hasn't disappointed me, whichever outlet it is. The chef's favourite beef pizza was particularly good. Indoor and outdoor seats. Amazing location. Quick service. The one star less is for the behaviour of one of the servers (I must mention that everyone else was amazing). He was so disinterested and rude when we pointed out to him that one of the small plates he had given us was unclean and requested it to be changed, and asked for the oil bottles. I guess these are basic things that he was anyway supposed to do instead of making faces and sarcastic remarks. So it felt weird to be paying service charge for this behaviour. I wish the service charge was opt-in instead of opt-out if the behaviour will be so rude.

Lovely pizza, great service. Very good value for money. The atmosphere is very relaxed and low key. No snobbism, no pretence, just good fun. A really nice restaurant.

We were 5 of us and went to sit in and they did not provide us with a proper table to eat. The waiter who took our order was very rude and did not listen to what we were trying to explain him about a pizza. While having to pizza asked another waiter for some ketchup, said no very rudely. Would not go again for this worst service.

Pizza was nice but they didn't have their chefs recommended one - which I wanted. Toilets were not very nice - my wife wouldn't use them. They added a service charge but it was just two of us. Would not really recommend.

Food was amazing, waiter was awful :( Forgot to clean our table after asking him twice we then had to ask the manager if someone could clean it.. he then Forgot our drinks (asked another waiter to help) he then brought out the drinks and forgot one of them!! he also forgot to bring out oils and clean cutlery… made the experience stressful for us because he was so not bothered about us!! Food however was lovely, would go again but staff needs a stern talking to..

Tasty food but quiet atmosphere

It is an excellent place to stop and take a break in Manchester City Centre. We visited with a child once, and we are happily planning to visit again on our next trip to Manchester. Both pizzas were great.

Very friendly and attentive staff and very delicious pizzas, the dough was spectacular. We also ordered some starters and they were very delicious. Recommended and a very good option if you want to have dinner after nine at night, dinner saved us since we arrived in the city around 10 p.m.

Been to several off these in Manchester and London. Always lovely pizzas. Menu usually changes, so different pizzas. Ingredients really fresh. They are very large so if you are not a big eater one between two will probably suffice.

Went with the family for lunch, had a mix of #3, #4, #7 & pizza special, the sourdough was fantastic - could do eith more pizza toppings but that's just my opinion otherwise it was great, I'd happily go back again, the waiter also had beautiful fine line tattoos - I wish I had asked him where he got them!!

Visited a few weeks ago and was extremely disappointed by the pizza - the flavour wasn’t there and the price wasn’t adequate to what i have received. The service was efficient but had to ask for the bill with our plates still on table as we were a bit forgotten. Wouldn’t recommend it come back.

Amazing pizza and great service. I only had 30-mins before an appointment, the food was ordered and ready within 10-mins and was really delicious. Prices are great too, highly recommended.

The atmosphere was great, the staff were lovely. The pizza I had was just average, so a little disappointing. But next time, I'll choose something different because I really did like the restaurant.

Fresh made pizza which was made in a traditional pizza oven. Base was just the right thickness and toppings were beautiful. Will def be back!

Nice look to the restaurant and it was quiet so service was quick. Ordered two pizzas and unfortunately both were average. Base was good but the toppings were minimal and lacked flavour. it’s company policy not to have wine glasses so had to drink out of water tumblers which did detract from the consumption experience.

The pizzas were perfect, amazing taste and the restaurant has an amazing atmosphere. However the mature meat table was not fresh, neither was the salad. Apart from that I recommend the pizza, good price and delicious.

On the positive side, the pizzas tasted well, and the atmosphere was good enough. On the other side, the garlic bread came at the same time as the pizzas and the pizzas were not pre cut.

Came for dinner on a Friday night. We didn't have a booking and they managed to accommodate us as the restaurant wasn't that busy. The atmosphere is okay but not that cosy. The service was friendly and attentive. We had drinks and then ordered some pizza. The food arrived quickly. I had Margarita with a gluten-free dough which was a bit burned. I was very hungry so just went with it. The place is okay, but nothing special.

The pizza was absolutely delicious and considering there were around 15-20 of us the service was faster than I expected. I found the venue to be quite noisy but it was bright and comfortable. Will come again.

Napolitan pizzas were top notch, service felt as the name; italian. Place was super clean and wait time was fast. Recommend trying out some of the desserts as well!

Rushed out was an understatement and no one in restaurant literally brought the bill and card machine without being asked I was took aback when she just pushed it in my face - absolutely disgusting!!

Wont be going again I ordered a salad but apparently they had run out out so the waitress ran to the local shop to get some hence a longer wait, food was average but we had only just finished eating when they took our plates brought the bill and came straight back with the card machine whilst we were still drinking our tea we hadn’t even asked to pay yet !! The place was nearly empty so why rush us out !! Not impressed

The restaurant was great! Really central and lovely location! The pizza was great and came quickly and was super tasty and the drinks selection was great. The staff were really attentive and friendly as well and we had a few jokes!

Service was too "can't be a×sed". Gluten free pizza was v expensive and so few toppings... Disappointing. The other Franca Manca in Picadilly looks more exciting.

What a great find- delicious selection of sourdough pizzas. Also enjoyed a limoncello spritz . Would highly recommend for a tasty and well priced lunch or dinner .

Six of us went for a tea and we were really starving. The food SUPER EXPENSIVE however it was good, edible and can't complain. The service was horrible. Honestly. We ordered 6 pizzas and the bill came around £110.25 which is absolutely RIDICULOUS! (The dough was burnt but they said that's authentic) The irritating part is they CHARGED US 10% (£10.02) for OPTIONAL SERVICE which we DID NOT EVEN GIVE THE CONSENT! Overall this place is not worth it. I would rather go to domino's or any other Italian restaurant rather than wasting my money here. Sorry.

Was really good pizza. Went as a couple, seen the UNiDAYS deal, was brilliant value for money. Staff were brilliant would definitely recommend.

Lovely meal this evening. The food was a little delayed due to the amount if people here but it was absolutely worth the wait. My husband and I shared two pizzas, they were both amazing. We definitely recommend the slow cooked beef ragu abd traditional halumi 👌. Service was great and the staff were friendly. Will 100% come again!

Although the street outside this venue was packed with Christmas shoppers, the scene inside was very different. Nice calm atmosphere, attentive staff - though not in the least intrusive - and of course, a perfectly baked sourdough pizza, washed down with a lovely glass of Nero d'Avola. And the vanilla ice cream was one of the nicest I have ever tasted. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Dropped in on the off chance of a table, knew we were pushing our luck as everywhere was closing. Staff could not have been better. Sourdough pizzas were perfect. We were celebrating a win and last night's dinner was a high point of an already super night.

Amazing deal for having £5 for fresher students for any medium pizza. My friends, who had the tiramisu said it was amazing and I had the raspberry sorbet and thought it was really delicious. We came in quite late and even with not many people in the restaurant it was still super lovely and friendly.
