The food was very nice the ravioli was very saucy and nice and the pizza had a nice spicy pepperoni which I liked and was made exactly the authentic Italian way the server nick was very nice got our food out to us very quick very polite checked on us all the time made sure we was happy over all perfect and staff were amazing

Had a lovely meal here last night for my birthday, all the food was amazing, our waitress was lovely and very accommodating, they even brought out my desert with a candle which was a lovely surprise, one of our drinks took a long time to come out and they ended up comping a round of drinks which was not needed at all but very much appreciated. Will definitely be back here!!

Had theatre menu dessert was heavenly. Sea bass was delicious but I felt potion very small. Would have had a starter if I had known. But value for money at set price for theatre menu None of these in dishes below to recommend

We visited gusto while walking the streets of Manchester, we seen the menu and it was fairly priced, walk ins available and the service was quick and fast, we had the buccatini ragu, rigatoni arrabiatta & garlic petals, the drink menu was extensive and choice was vast we opted for the strawberry daiquiri and coconut and melon cocktail. All in all the bill was £64 for 2 cocktails 3 dishes and with a service charge, we considered that very reasonable.

We did come to visit our son for the weekend and decided to visit gusto for lunch. Great selection of food for good prices. Our waiter Nick was amazing. We will visit again in future.

The food and the atmosphere were excellent, the staff were quite rude at times. It was a busy Saturday and the table was reserved after us, which we were reminded of every 10 minutes which was very annoying.

Shocking food for the second time cold. We were told that if we came back are experience would be different. How wrong that was what a shame. I do not choose to go out and pay for cold food.

Perfect Valentine’s Dinner! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing food, romantic atmosphere, and excellent service from nick (5* ) The homemade pasta was delicious, and the tiramisu was unforgettable. A must-visit for a special night!

Mia was our server this evening, we had a lovely meal and she was lovely, attentive and very polite.

I had very high expectations. Italian is my favorite food. Their own dough bites are really delicious. Unfortunately pasta arrabiatta was less sauce, dry and no spice. My husband's steak with pepper sauce was delicious. I have also eaten better tiramisu. Staff is okay, I have experienced better service in Manchester.

Returning after a long hiatus!! Bath was a wonderful server and made our visit special from start to finish. She was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food was fabulous as always and drinks were excellent. We’ll be back soon.

I was served by Nick and Vouya, but I have to say Vouya was extremely friendly and kind towards us. While the portion sizes were a little small. Just to emphasize Vouya was really nice!!

My daughter went with her friends and the waiter scammed them into buying over priced bottled water when they asked for tap water. 4.50 per bottle. Day light robbery because they were youngsters. AVOID. EDIT - the comment from the owner below is a pack of lies.

Booked this restaurant as we were celebrating a special occasion. Our waiter was very attentive and just couldn't do enough for us. We had a two year old child with us and he just seemed to understand his needs (getting his food with our starter etc) The food was delicious. We even got a special message on our dessert plate. Had a lovely relaxed afternoon. Not the cheapest restaurant in town but as the old saying goes.... you get what you pay for. Will definitely be returning here.

Disappointing meal on an evening out with my mum. We both ordered the sea bass and decided to add an extra piece of fish to the dish. The fish was served skin side up but not at all crispy which was quite off putting with the slithery texture on view as the main focal point of the dish. I am not a big portion person but even with two pieces of fish this dish was far too small and lacked enough veg or potatoes. Instead of being offered another dish or dessert to apologise the waitress just asked me if I wanted to skim cooked more which would have made the fish dry. Very disappointing and expensive meal for what you get. I would not recommend eating here!

We came to gusto because we couldn’t get into Vincenzo trattoria restaurant on st Anne street our regular restaurant as they was busy, although they where very busy with lunchtime they came over and ask us to come back in hour if we couldn’t find another place to diner and so we walk down to gusto and i have to say Worst service I have every experience no service what so ever from coming in at the reception to the waiting on staff. After standing a while at the reception with no one to ask us how many people to be seated , we then went into the restaurant to look for someone and although the waiting staff saw us they didn’t call anyone or made any suggestion to say some will be with you soon , we were the again standing at the restaurant entrance waiting for service with the staff inside the restaurant blatant blanking us and that is not some where I would want to spend my money. The restaurant wasn’t even busy with only a few tables and a few drinker and this was lunch time. The food could be nice and out of this world but with out the service hand in hand the restaurant has no credit. To the manager of this restaurant you should take your staff to Vincenzo trattoria restaurant in st Anne st and get a good training day for your staff in service.

Lovely place especially with the trees with loads of fairy lights. Food was mediocre. Small portions , if it hadn't been for the garlic bread we would of still been hungry. The garlic bread was also a bit dry and bland . The desserts were delicious 😋 though. Service charge which we asked to be taken off and we tipped the waitress instead.

Food and service excellent as always, Davide is an asset to the restaurant and we always ask to have him as our waiter if possible
