Great pizza at great prices, especially on a Monday when it's half price! Great for takeaway too.

No reservamos con antelación, pero no hay problemas el restaurante se extiende hasta el sótano, donde hay un bar encantador y se puede comer en el bar, que simplemente nos encanta de todos modos. El personal es simplemente maravilloso, tan servicial y amable y encantado de aconsejar sobre las opciones de comida. La comida era preciosa y fresca, ya sea que se trate de los platos pequeños, pizza o la red. Los dos compartimos todo lo que siempre pensamos que funciona bien en algún lugar nuevo. En general, un gran hallazgo y una buena relación calidad-precio de la bebida y el personal. Sin duda volveríamos de nuevo.

I went to caravaggio for lunch this afternoon I had a lovely mixed fish skewers with Lobster sauce I highly recommend Caravaggio restaurant in Camberwell Moreover the staff members are lovely, they are so friendly and professional I loved this experience once again in caravaggio, I am coming back very soon. I am not a fan of icecream or gelato, but this was a delicious treat. The chocolate was creamy and luscious as was the berry gelato. Huge portions which we divided. Not a single ice-crystal in the gelato! Literally like eating it freshly churned in our home kitchen. I will make the trek to go back.

I could not have been more pleased with our choice of restaurant before going to the Old Vic (very close by). Our group of 8 friends had a variety of ‘nibbles’ to share including bruschetta, garlic bread and olives. We then ordered pasta, chicken, kebabs, salads, chips, roast veg which all arrived together. It was hot , tasty and you could tell freshly cooked. What a pleasure to see a business serving cheerfully serving fresh food in a lovely setting . I just wish you were closer to where we live!!

Came with my family today, service was absolutely amazing and food was really good, our host lost on was very attentive and it’s definitely somewhere where I’ll return

Amazing pasta in borough market. Very quick and definitely freshly made. Very filling with big portion and worth the trip. Had it twice!

Food was excellent and service was excellent. Really nice wine list as well. It is expensive but we don’t mind that if you get what you pay for, which in this case, we felt Bacala nailed it. Location is great, ambience very hip. Our only complaint as tourists not family with London dining scene is that a standard “optional” 13% service charge is added to your bill, post tax. No one tells you about it even though it is “optional”. We paid the bill and added a 20% gratuity, which is typical in the US for good service. The next day when we accounted for our dinner expenses we saw the service charge. The server accepted the 33% tip and never said a word about it. Not even a heartfelt thank you! We went to dinner somewhere else the next night. We now know about the 13% but once again the server did not point it out on the bill. So we asked about it and the server told us it is a gratuity. It is not unreasonable to expect that the menu list a note that an optional 13% gratuity service charge is added to all bills. It’s not up to the server. The restaurant should disclose.

Friendly, family run, Italian restaurant and cafe, home made pasta, with a daily menu (swordfish and aubergine pasta today). Super deserts and pastries, Excellent value. Highly recommended.

Lady at the till on Thursday morning was super rude. No welcoming at all, no thank you, I made a question about a product and the answer she gave was so much to make me feel like a fool that in the end I didn’t get what I wanted. I get it, you have stress, depressed, no smiling costumers at all, who work in the area and are tired to give you a smile for their daily routine or whatever, but you shouldn’t apply that manners to all your other costumers...
