Nice little restaurant a couple of minutes from Borough tube station..Simple and tasty flavours. Quality ingredients. Specialises in seafood. Neapolitan pastiera the pick of the desserts. Friendly service. Enjoyed it. Pricey.

Great food, great wine, great music, great staff - if only every restaurant could be like this. They specialise in sea food, I had the pasta and seafood platter; my companion the wild boar.

We arrived when they had just opened to a very enthusiastic welcome by the owner. The menu was explained- and the food was delicious . We will definitely return when in London next.

Visiting the Southwark Playhouse down the street, we looked for a quiet place to eat before the theatre. The host was charming, the food and wine excellent - it really felt like Italy.

A great cosy, local Italian only marred by the Specials board not revealing the cost of them and a vegetable canneloni main dish which was miniscule. When pointed out to the manager he was quite aggressive and said it was only £13 which slightly missed the point. There was a disconnect between him and the serving staff which may explain his initial reaction but me friends will not return. The billnalso charged us for 2 anneloni's but luckily we spotted their mostake. Great shame as nice food.

Outstanding food, to call it delicious doesn't do it justice. As wonderful as being back in Italy!!!

Went on a Friday night, it is small and was packed but they managed to squeeze us in. The other dinners seemed to be Italian which I guess is a good sign. Really enjoyed the food, the menu is small but just right. No disrespect to anything else but the bread was fantastic. They also have an opera singer which really added to the ambiance. We decided to have a pre-theatre meal here and were persuaded by the waiter to try the day’s specials, we were not disappointed. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The only off note to our visit was when the very attentive waiter came with the bill. It was not the cost but rather it was the waiter attempting to persuade us that despite “service” being incorporated into bill we should also provide him with an additional “tip”. Had we been tourists we may have been coerced by his insistence, it left us metaphorically bruised and despite the excellent food unlikely to make a return visit.

This was the best meal we had in London…and all of where we visited in the UK. I’m not a big fish eater, but my husband and I decided to share the sea bass special. If all fish meals were like this one, I’d only eat fish. We also shared a pasta dish that was on par with my grandmother’s cooking. That says a lot. I wish we weren’t leaving tomorrow, because I would go back!
