The best restaurants serving Italian food in Riverside Southwark London

Myself and my Brother took my Dad to Legare as he has mobility challenges and it wasn't far from London Bridge! We couldn't have been more impressed. The welcome was warm, and the staff couldn't have done more for my Dad, even bringing cavolo nero for him to see before they tempura-ed it as he hadn't seen it in its raw form before. They were attentive throughout (especially Alice), and the food was exceptional, particularly the wonderful combination of buratta and Italian meats we had for starters. We plan to return with other members of our family later in the Spring

1-Dec-22: Visited as a party of 4 on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was busy and buzzy and waiting staff were friendly. Food was OK, nothing special but nothing bad. My carbonara served from the parmesan wheel was a bit of fun.

Wanted an omelette as menu on window showed it but did not show any time restrictions you could order it once inside was told they didn't do omelette in the afternoon? Asked for jacket potato with beans then instead..jacket potato was on the menu but they did not do it beans..really with a jacket potato? Asked then for poached eggs on bun with ham with no seasonings or any topping..just plain and also ordered a beef pattie as they explained it on the menu..in other words a burger..the eggs came up with a sauce all over them which I sent back expressing we had said we wanted it plain..the burger then arrived and I cut it in half in the bun..just as well I did it was not cooked inside so I sent it back they then cooked me another burger that was over cooked and was like a piece of shoe leather..( I have to ask how hard is it to cook a burger!..I have a cafe myself in Kent and must cook 150 burgers a week..90% steak burgers) I have to say I was on the verge of walking out the food was awful 💩💩 by the time mine was re served which half of it i left..my partner had already finished his food..the male waiter that originally took our order appeared very glum and looked like he didn't really want yo be there..and lacked a personalty..so burger and frozen potato wedges..2 eggs on a bun with ham..1 glass of wine and a apple juice came to £48!! I think it's probably the worse meal I have had in years! I'd of had a better experience at McDonald's and wish I had of gone there instead!

This is a great little Sicilian cafe. Go here for great coffee, traditional Italian and Sicilian pastries, and panini as well as some great gelato. I see a lot of people posting about unhappy english breakfasts here. This is a great spot for food but you should focus on the thematic foods of the cafe. Obviously! I wrote most of my dissertation in this cafe and it has a great internet connection and cozy vibe! I continue to visit occasionally 5 years on, I am never disappointed. Special respect goes to the Pear, Chocolate and almond tart/cake! Possibly the best in London

Estábamos celebrando un cumpleaños familiar y el gerente general no podría haber sido más útil para organizar esto para nosotros, permitiéndonos llevar un pastel y haciendo la noche tan especial. ¡Máximas notas!

Restaurant italien sans Pizza... Frite médiocre Les prix sont correct. Peut faire mieux surtout vu l'emplacement de celui-ci. La serveuse vous attrape dehors pour vous faire manger dans ce resto.

Big mistake choosing to eat here,it was cold day and was out with my sister in law and our kids.Feeling hungry we decide to eat in here as we were passing by.The waitress was nice and polite but the food was terrible ,ordered 2 fish and chips ,2 spaghetti carbonate,2 coca cola ,1 bottle of watter 2 juices ,one bread one grill salmon dish and 1 portion of bread (arrived pitta). Starting with the fish as soon as i saw it was something wrong it isn't the fresh fish and chips you would expect but some fried fish from freezing ,tasteless and rubber feel ,disgusting ,lost my appetite and couldn't eat it.The carbonara which was ordered by kids again was terrible in taste , the only think I could eat it was the chips ,not even the pitta bread have any taste .overall useless and wouldn't go in there even if they offered it for free not to mention that this terrible dishes cost us £128 Shame on all of them for for charging big price for something that is propably bought in supermarket freezers 🤷‍♀️ ang cooked.Please whoever reads this avoid entering in their trap and save ur £££ .

Magical settings restaurant very well placed magnificent seen during the meal which was also very good the pasta is excellent and the service very kind in terms of the bill it was reasonable I recommend 100% you would not be disappointed

Locale molto carino, il mangiare per un italiano è di qualità media... Però la location è davvero Top! La vista sul Tower Bridge è impagabile. Camerieri abbastanza cortesi e menzione per il fatto che sono aperti fino ad un po' più tardi rispetto agli altri posti in cui si mangia li vicino

This is an excellent location right opposite London bridge Station. The menu is good, I have dietary requirements which are catered for and reasonably priced. The service is friendly but a little slow.

He estado aquí casi innumerables veces con familiares y amigos y solo he tenido una mala experiencia (donde un camarero fue grosero cuando le preguntamos por nuestra comida cuando se había pedido hace más de una hora) y Ask Italian lo resolvió rápidamente y ofreció un comida de dos platos gratis. Seguiré regresando en los próximos años, las vistas del Támesis son brillantes y la comida siempre es excelente.

Encontramos esta pequeña joya para el almuerzo de hoy y no podíamos irnos sin escribir una crítica, ya que es posible que el mejor lugar en el que hemos almorzado durante mucho tiempo! Visité con mi mejor amiga para pasta y café y nos dieron un plato lleno de pastel y fruta por “ser tan agradable”!! El camarero era fabuloso y totalmente hilarante, en una especie de ‘Faulty Towers’ - no queríamos irnos! Excelente café y comida encantadora - darle una oportunidad!
