Mi pareja y yo tuvimos recientemente una cena maravillosa en Café Napoli en Weymouth. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa, con auténticos sabores italianos en cada plato que probamos. El servicio fue fantástico — amable y atento sin ser intrusivo. También nos quedamos impresionados con los precios, que eran muy razonables para la calidad de la comida y el servicio. En general, fue una gran experiencia, y sin duda volveremos! Recomiendo encarecidamente Café Napoli para cualquiera que busque una gran comida en Weymouth.

Received a warm welcome from the couple who run this place. Very authentic Italian feel. Great selection of breads and sandwich fillings. Liked that the meats a sliced immediately to order. 6 on the pricey side but well worth it compared to the ubiquitous chain outlets.

Every dish was amazing. We had meat (Italian “cotoletta”), ravioli and a kids’ margherita. 10/10! Also service professional and emphatic. This is our 2nd time at the Osteria, and will be back for sure.

Mis amigos y yo acabamos de encontrar este lugar en la calle de nuestro hotel y tenía muy buenas críticas, así que nos detuvimos y estamos gratamente sorprendidos de encontrar tan buena comida y tan buen servicio. No puedo recordar los nombres de cada uno de los platos, tengo esta pasta vegetariana con queso de cabra horneado en la parte superior que era muy bueno, pero los ñoquis de mis amigos eran las manos - abajo favorito. Sigo volviendo a este lugar. Tiene muchas promesas. La comida es buena y el menú combina los clásicos con un puñado de platos un poco más experimentales. Esta vez tuvimos los panes, aceitunas, bruschetta, plato mixto, burrata, calabaza y queso de cabra, algunas ensaladas y cosas y dos platos de pasta y ragu. Uno de los cuales era el clásico canelón 'alla nonna'. Para mí, los canelones estaban un poco húmedos y demasiado cocidos. El plato mixto de carnes y quesos realmente golpeó el punto, entre otras cosas porque no retuvo la cantidad! En general, grandes sabores, un servicio bueno, amable y servicial y una carta de vinos interesante y bastante decente, aunque un toque caro. La vergüenza era que para cuando entramos en el swing, éramos casi la única gente allí. Muy bien, era una noche de mitad de semana a mediados de noviembre. Sin embargo, el lugar está pensado como un típico italiano de barrio y, por alguna razón, no parecía atraer a los lugareños.

Reservamos para el brunch y pedimos un plato principal cada uno y un café. La comida era buena, pero sentimos que nos hubiera gustado más en el plato por el dinero que pagamos. Pedí el rosti de salmón ahumado que era muy sabroso, pero habría sido bueno si venía con un huevo escalfado o setas o aguacate o algo más. Mi marido sentía lo mismo por su orden de almuerzo. La cuenta llegó a más de £ 50 y nos fuimos todavía sintiendo hambre. Si bien nos gustó el ambiente y el personal era atento y la comida era buena - y la industria de la hospitalidad está pasando un mal momento - nos sentimos no recibimos una buena relación calidad-precio.

My first time visiting had the pizza. Can honestly say best pizza I have eaten in a long time! Staff so friendly. Will definitely be returning!!

Excellent early dinner experience before heading off for a nearby show. Excellent service & delicious food & wine. Particularly recommend the risotto on the specials- it was the best I’ve ever tasted! Not rushed at all - would certainly go back.

Lume Primrose Hill: “The Wine Bar that Goes Wrong” If you enjoyed the play or are amused by the concept, and are looking for similar real life entertainment, I have the perfect wine bar recommendation for you. If you’re after a relaxed evening wine, good food, attentive yet unintrusive service, a welcoming ambiance and the perfect environment to meet friends, Lume in Primrose Hill is absolutely not for you. Avoid. The ‘plot’ for The Wine Bar that Goes Wrong, speaks for itself. No attention to the entrance waiting area leaves customers waiting 5 minutes to be acknowledged. A standard “How are you?” greeting to our reluctant waiter met with “Alive” as a response. Perhaps ironically an instant mood killer. No booking in a half full setting met with “Probably not” before we are then seated. 10 minutes to get wine and food menus. After an extraordinary amount of time, managed to ‘hail’ a waiter to order only for him to be called off mid order to another table. Tried to order wine from one of the two waiters in the wine bar only to be told they could not as the other waiter took wine orders. Tried to order food from one of the two waiters in the wine bar only to be told they could not as the other waiter took the food orders. Finally get served wine after 30 minutes. Finally order food only to be told we had been given the wrong food menu so needed to reconsider. Finally ordered three starters / small plates from the now correct menu only to be told some while later there was only one portion left of the two we wanted. Ordered the one. Asked an hour later where the order was only to be told the chef was confused and thought we’d cancelled the order as we only wanted the one portion left having previously ordered two. Finished the wine before the late late confused starter arrived. We were asked if we wanted another bottle to go with our 90 minute late starter. But were also told they had run out of the Gavi we were drinking. All delivered by staff who clearly did not want to be there. And that’s the plot twist. A winebar / restaurant, with no wine, no food, no service and entirely inhospitable. For balance, the menu was well thought out albeit dishes unavailable and the wine list comprehensive and interesting even if only for interest as our wine choice was also unavailable. This was supposed to be a pre dinner drink and canapé ahead of a dinner reservation at Lemonia. Instead it was an ordeal that outlasted our subsequent restaurant booking leaving the three of us hungry, thirsty, and thoroughly unentertained. Enjoy the show!
