This restaurant has to surely be one of the best around Hornchurch for a taste of Italian and Mediterranean food. A family run eatery led by husband and wife team Enzo and Gina serves excellent food, providing first class service, ambience and value is second to none. Thanks for another great evening guys. Terry

A great local Italian in the former Lee Green post office. Family owned and run with a long menu (which normally starts alarm bells but in this case doesn’t!). The staff are amazing and great with kids while the food is hearty, tasty and very good value for money. Definitely recommended.

I really enjoyed this pizza. I ate on the pavement watching the world go by I’m the characterful Exmouth Market. Service was very nice and they are really dog friendly - dog treats, not just a water bowl! It’s a good spot.

We came to this restaurant by accident as we had gone into the Jasmine Thai restaurant opposite but left because they only take cash. We were both pleasantly pleased with the food. It was excellent and authentic short menu calamari and mozzarella to start with seafood linguine and an excellent rustic liver dish with mashed potatoes and green beans. Lovely food and we had a dessert fantastic tiramisu, wine list really excellent thoroughly enjoyed it will be coming back. Slightly awkward seating arrangements I think it could be laid out a little better, but that’s a minor issue. Need acushion on the chair! Reasonably priced as well and staff very nice.

AVOID if you want good customer service and a full set of teeth. There was a stone in my pizza that chipped several of my front teeth. When I told the owner he became very defensive and said he didn't grow the pizza ingredients and so wasn't to blame. There was no sympathy or apologies. He stropped off and ignored us until we left. I told several local friends about the incident and they said they had heard a lot of people had found him very rude and unhelpful. Unsurprisingly, will never visit again!!! And will warn other locals.

This had been my favourite pizza place for the longest time -- we have spent so much money there over the years -- but after my partner was violently sick several hours after consuming the Wicker Man pizza (nduja, pepperoni etc), and continued to throw up throughout the night, as well as suffering high temperature and severe aches, it's rather ended my love affair with the place. When I informed the manager about what had happened, and let him know I had contacted Food Safety Waltham Forest, he said 'it's unlikely to be our kitchen' then quibbled over how long food poisoning takes to kick in. He said it wouldn't be food poisoning if it only took 2 hours. NHS England says: "Sometimes [symptoms] start after a few hours or not for a few weeks." Good to know.
