Great food and great service just lacked a bit of authencity. Would definitely recommend it!!!

I visited this restaurant some many years ago, when City and United were playing for the charity shield. I took some customers at the time, the service and food was outstanding. Within five minutes of sitting down the FIFA officials turned up with their wives having booked the private section of the restaurant. I must return to this place, the experience has stuck in mind all these years. Hope it is as good now as it was.

We had linguine fruti de mari and pasta salsiccia. Both served hot and tasty by excellent staff. We recommend this restaurant.

It's a nice little Italian and much needed, as the Hill only has a few options. The staff are all super friendly and the ambience/decor is cosy. The food is good with a menu filled with classics. Would come again for sure.

Fantastic birthday celebration at the Grove on the Hill. The food and service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble both in the planning of the event and during the evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and my guests had a brilliant time. Ahmed and his team went out of their way to welcome us all.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a wonderful meal. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was perfect.

This is a local cafe, not quite a restaurant as it is is more of a grill house and cafe for licals. It's fine to meet friends and have a light lunch. The food is ok. The service is great, as the staff are very personable. There is a lovely rear seating section which often is well populated and the front of house is more of the canteen area. The food is well presented and looks great. Here could be larger portions though (especially of the salad). The calamari is good. Give it a try, it might work for you

We were in the area and popped in on the off chance . It was our wedding Anniversary and wanted to have a night out . We were not disappointed , staff were charming and so attentive food was delicious and desert was amazing . Can’t wait to visit again when next in area . Thank you for a lovely evening .

Went for dinner to The Grove on the Hill. The food was distinctly average. A special starter of smoked salmon and poached egg with hollandaise sauce was cold. I questioned the server twice and she assured me it should be cold. I have never had a dish involving a cold poached egg. The service was good but sadly I’ll not be returning.

I booked a large party of 15 last Saturday night for a special birthday meal. The service was attentive and efficient. I had provided menu choices in advance and the food was served promptly and to the right person each time. They kept an eye on the drinks and made sure everyone had what they wanted or needed. When the bill arrived they had divided it down for me so that there were no headaches trying to work it out. All in all an exceptional experience which made the evening a total success. In addition, the food was extremely good and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Would definitely recommend.

I came today to eat at a place that looked modern and high-end; I was not wrong. Excellent take on the Italian cuisine within London. The Pizza was baked beautifully and left a lasting impression on the tongue. I thoroughly enjoyed the company and service of a young, charismatic girl in a hijab who was especially kind, helpful and showed real promise :)

I ordered an amazing pepperoni pizza they added a lot of pepperoni slices. My mate ordered pasta and they also come to your table asking if you would like pepper and cheese. Great service overall the staff were friendly. The restaurant is clean and neat. Would recommend if you like a cosy eat in.

This restaurant markets itself as Italian but it clearly is not. Whilst the service was good, the food was very bland. This restaurant has a good atmosphere and location but give me a tasty plate of food over that any day.

Food was mediocre, not sure what the fuss is about, tasted better Italian food. Extremely rude man behind the bar who thought it was hospitable to kiss his teeth when we’d said goodbye and thank you on our exit. He wasn’t a happy employee obviously!

Great serviceand lovely people. The food was OK quite big portions so wonderful value for money but very hard to eat everything so ask for a takeaway bag so you have dinner sorted for the next day.

Online order via UberEats so review based on food only - The pizza was impressive - quality ingredients, nice thin, crispy and yet chewy dough - exactly how I like a pizza to be. Pretty much 'grease free' too - as opposed to somewhere like Pizza Hut where the box is saturated in grease from the base. Not the case here - full marks given. The chocolate fudge cake dessert was also good - soft and moist, even after sitting in my fridge for a couple of hours. The drinks arrived ice cold too. I can't fault anything, so five stars is fair.

It was a friends birthday so we decided to finally make a trip back to Grove on the Hill. It’s always a friendly efficient service, varied menu with plenty veg options and well cooked, tasty food. Not too expensive and not too cheap. Good quality which is the main thing for me and reasonably size of portions. Planning to go back end of the month! :)

Can't fault the service or the food. 9 of is rocked up and all ordered different dishes from vegetarian to seafood, to meat dishes. All were damn good. The desserts are to die for and even the coffee for afters had a definite je ne sais quoi about it. In summary, love the staff, love the food brilliant atmosphere 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Excellent fine dining in Harrow. Went here yesterday for our anniversary and had a great experience, great service and even better food. The starters were excellent with the halloumi with pomegranate and walnut being particularly good. Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and the meal finished off with a variety of well portioned desserts.

Quality of the food is amazing! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice!

We've been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. The latest bist was in a group of 7. There's ample vegetarian choice and an extensive drinks selection. The service is great and the Panna Cotta is to die for.

Family meal on a Sat. Night. Nice feel. Airy but a/c not working well. Food was slow but mainly good. Garlic bread and pizzas were excellent. Hummus stole the show!

I came across this place by sheer luck during lock down but boy am I glad! It has basically become my favourite local Italian. Delicious pizza, delicious pasta, and delicious tiramisu! Easily one of the best Italian restaurants in Harrow in my opinion.

Not being able to eat out at the moment, it’s GREAT to be able to get a lovely pizza or other main dish from Grove on the Hill menu delivered to your door. The service was quick and the food great as always.

Visited ‘The Grove on the Hill’ recently to have a celebratory dinner for my husbands 50th birthday. This restaurant never disappoints. Food was excellent, staff friendly as always and both restaurant owners warm & welcoming. Was a pleasant surprise that we received £10 off per person because this restaurant is participating in the government ‘eat out’ scheme during August. That said, I am always happy to pay the menu prices in full as the standard & quality of food is exceptional and worth every penny!

Service is ok, not exactly enthusiastic but does the job. Starters and pizza are good not exceptional. However the Pasta dishes are poor. It's audacious they advertise as an Italian restaurant. If you are Italian, don't even think about coming here, you will probably have a psychotic episode and leave in a ambulance or police car. Deserts are nice.

We eat here regularly (actually three times this week… thank you Chancellor!!)… the food is great… the ambience is great… the owners are very friendly and always accommodating. So we were really surprised to read such a negative review on Tripadviser. I guess you cannot judge issues without knowing the full story from both sides, but knowing how busy restaurants are on Monday through Wednesday, it’s hardly surprising that the wait times might be longer (surely you go into the restaurant knowing this?) So all I can say is if you don't want to risk a bit of wait time anywhere, going out Thursday through Sunday might be a more sensible option.Yes, we’ve also had to wait a little longer in EVERY restaurant we’ve been to during this promotional period, but at Grove on the Hill it’s been well worth waiting for (and it really has only been a bit longer) and frankly, the food is delicious and good value even at full price.

Will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone! You’d get better service and food at Pizza Hut.The waitress did not have our reservation upon our arrival even though we had booked over a week prior. The food took a grand hour and a half to arrive with not apology or explanation. We were forced to order starters and mains to arrive altogether... “because the kitchen is hot,” whatever that means!? The menu is over priced for the service, ambience and food that is served. We took the liberty to let the manager know our complaints and we were offered no apologies and told “if you’re in a rush to eat, do not come here”. To confirm, we were in no rush, we were asking for a REASONABLE timeframe to be served. So to you Sir, if you do not understand the basic concept of customer service and Hospitality while you own and run a restaurant, then you’re in the wrong business.

Had an excellent meal last night at Grove on the Hill. Very good COVID management, I felt perfectly safe. The food is Italian and everything we had was really good. The restaurant only opened at the beginning of July and it’s really nice to have a good local restaurant. They are part of Eat Out to Help Out. Recommend going along to support them you won’t be disappointed

My fiance and I visited the Grove on the Hill on Friday 17th June. It was a very pleasant experience I must say. The atmosphere was lovely, the music was not too loud and the food was exquisite. I had the Lamb Rack with mash potato, which tasted amazing. My fiance was also impressed with her vegetarian spaghetti. The lemon cheesecake was such a treat. Our waitress Nicola, was very polite and professional. She made the experience extra special. I would go back to this beautiful restaurant again. I would recommend it to anyone that loves a great night with a loved one.

Visited ‘Grove on the hill’ today, Sunday Roast was fantastic, portion was very generous we’ll definitely go back. Owners are very friendly & welcoming. Strongly recommend. Deserts are are to die for, if you have a sweet tooth... 😉

Best pizza place in Harrow on the hill. I have tried Domino’s, Papa johns, Balkan’s, Franco manca among all of them this is the best pizza come across. Taste like the wood fired nice and soft crust, classic bread. We had pizza Fiorentina and della Casa🌱 caramelise onion, less cheese more spinach delicious 😋and £10 for a pizza 😮. I will highly recommend this place who are into pizza for some time. Stay healthy 🙂

First time here and first post-lockdown dinner for our 21st anniversary tonight. Warm welcome and clear directions. A few people in and things felt almost normal. Lovely salad and hummus to start, with Prosecco! Rack of lamb and Penne Arabiatta for mains. Great service from Nicole and her colleagues. We loved the 70s AOR playlist... and not too loud! Recommended. Will go again.

Visited this restaurant on friday, restaurant had a great ambience. The service was superb, very attentive staff and welcoming. They were smiling all throughout and checking on every table if everything is okay and if there is anything else customers need from them especially the lady working that day. She was making conversation in every table she attended and was very friendly. The food were excellent especially the steak which melts in your mouth, probably the best I had in awhile.

First time visiting this restaurant and i will definitely be coming back! the food was amazing and came quickly despite it being a busy day. Also received great customer service; staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly.

Outstanding lunch for four in perfect surroundings. Starters of prawns and salad were outstanding. Mains of salmon, arrabiata and pizza were flawless. The service was excellent. I wish this restaurant and its very friendly staff all the very best for their future.

Very accommodating. We had champagne and nibbles. The bread under the goat cheese and red onions starter was very basic white baguette and was very dry. No amount of olive oil could moisten it enough. However very good service

We visited this restaurant yesterday with family including children.From the minute we walked in the service was hostile and extremely unwelcoming. We only stayed because the children were hungry and needed to eat. The waitress demanded to know whether we had a booking before even saying hello.... The restaurant was empty??We were then seated and when asked what drinks we would like. The waitress looked as if she wanted to slap someone around the face. No smiles and very weird. The food was OK but was dumped on the tables and we had to pass it around ourselves since it was too much effort for the waitress to reach across the table. The restaurant was cold and we had to wear our coats. When asked for the bill we waited over 20 minutes. The waitress started to have a chat and when we asked for the bill again she started to have another chat. I have never felt so unwelcome and it really spoilt our evening. I couldn't understand why we were not treated nicely. The worst service I have experienced in a long time. Please avoid. The waitresses need to go on a customer service course first.

We went for (pre-booked) Sunday lunch with older relatives today, 6 of us. After the great reviews on here we thought we would give it a try rather than our usual favourite, The Castle ( we are locals ). When we arrived it was quite full, mainly with Harrow schoolboys in rugby kit and their parents. As a result it was very noisy and some of our party struggled a bit to hear. We ordered drinks which came promptly but then it was a very long wait until we placed the food order, having to call the waitress to do so. The starters and mains then arrived in reasonable time and we all very much enjoyed the food. The sea bass and the halloumi starters stood out, but it was all good .Unfortunately we then encountered more slow service, having to summon waiting staff to order desserts/ coffee and for the bill having waited a long time for both. The other disappointment was the only dessert that appealed, apple crumble, was finished. The price ( including 2 bottles of wine) came to £30 a head , everyone having 2 courses. Pretty reasonable for the area... Will we go again? Maybe, but it hasn't become the favourite I thought it might...
