Casa Mia in Harrow

We went to Casa Mia today thinking it will be amazing, unfortunately we got a little disappointed. I asked for salmon which was good but my partner's steak was proper raw where we asked for medium to well done. As we asked for bill we were shocked to see £50 for 4 double Capitan Morgan's. Our food was cheaper that drinks, I never paid that much for drink in any restaurant. I don't think I will come back there again.

I recently visited a local Italian restaurant and found the food to be quite nice, showcasing authentic flavours and fresh ingredients. However, my experience was overshadowed by a significant issue: there were a lot of flies buzzing around, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. Additionally, the door was left open, bringing in a cold draft that made it uncomfortable to eat. While I appreciated the quality of the food, the ambience and cleanliness are equally important. I hope they can address these issues for a more pleasant experience in the future

I recently visited Casa Mia and had a pretty average experience. The food was decent but nothing memorable—standard fare that didn’t really stand out. Unfortunately, I noticed few flies in the restaurant, which made me a bit uncomfortable and really put me off. I expected a bit more for the price. It’s an okay spot if you’re looking for a quick meal, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

This place used to be great. Went last week with two friends and both the food and service were awful along with the American rock music at this once lovely local…. Sadly badly in decline…..

This place used to be buzzing with good value fresh Italian food … I went last week with two mate for dinner and we were really saddened by the decline both in food quality and service. We entered to loud American rock music and the staff clearly had no passion for service as most of the time they were just chatting away with no regard for customers … Really sad… if it was my joint I’d hire a new chef, new servers and a new menu along with an appropriate music playlist….

Had table for 8pm , have been before and had had a good meal. This time we had our 1st course and then had to wait over an 1 hr!!! for our main meal. I had ordered a steak to b cooked medium to well done. After waiting far too long they had even cooked the steak to required taste, it was nearly rare. They offered to cook another , but after waiting an four in the first place I. didnt want to wait for another, also the friend I was with would have finished his. When we came to pay, the waitress said they had taken my meal off the bill. But no compensation for the very long wait. I did email them as I didnt want to have a problem in front of other customers. Needless to say I had no reply, if I had I would not have put up this review.

The food was lovely had pizzas. The service was very good. The ambiance was like your in Italy. The owner was lovely . Highly recommend

Oh no what happened to this restaurant? the worst meal I've ever had. What happened to the crudites, the bread basket, the lovely plentiful vegetables, the zucchini, now batter parcels with a miniscule strip of corgette inside? Left all my dinner except for the liver which was half the amount I would have had a few months ago and half the quality. It was most embarrassing as we had invited two friends!

Something terrible has happened to this once reliable, family style restaurant. I had the worst meal of my life there last night. There was practically nothing edible in it. Ordered liver which was slimy and in pieces, compared with the tasty slices I'd had there about four months ago. the onions were unspeakable. It all swam in a gravy of something which gave me heartburn in the night. The vegetables were half the amount they used to be, parsimonious. As for the zucchini! Think of thick batter parcels with tiny bits of raw corgette inside. The chips had less taste than even McDonalds which I never eat. No crudites, no bread basket. The waitress collected my plate, piled up with beige coloured debris and said I guess it wasn't all right, or something like that. My friend ordered liver also and reported feeling sick afterwards. One of the men had pizza which he said was ok.

Ordered via deliveroo. Ravioli had no olives, was tasteless and small portion. Not impressed and very expensive at about £14 for what was received!

We've been visiting as a family and as a group for years. Unfortunately, during our recent visit, we had to request to place our order after waiting for an hour, and it took two hours for the food to arrive. While the food was decent, the service was disappointing, likely due to a shortage of staff. This was also an issue during our previous two visits. Additionally, the noise levels were quite high, making it difficult to hear conversations.

Did really enjoy the food, not much I would say against going if you want a nice bite out. Portions are healthy. I wish they did offer some free bread and butter or olives for the table. I would have enjoyed my minestrone soup with a bit of bread. But all in all a nice meal!

Very enjoyable meal, value for money. But … why was Spanish music being played throughout the meal? . It took away from the Italian atmosphere.

Now this is called Art Decor with suttle ambience music. Really lovely inside with hidden Italian flavours of decoration. Food portions are healthy and taste great . Pricing was a bit much but quality is good .

I just order a pasta with seafood, was very bad, no taste no sauce , nothing. I will never order again.

We ate here on a Friday from their very good early bird menu, there is plenty of choice. All whe waiting staff were friendly, and at 6 when we got there they were very busy, but service was still good. We had 2 mediterranean grilled vegetables which made a light and unusual starter, followed by lamb shank for me, which had a £3,,50 supplement but was well worth it, and such lovely vegetables served with it, my husband had chicken in breadcrumbs with spaghetti and our friend calves liver and onions. Only my husband had a dessert instead of a starter as he can't resist tirimisu, and he was in heaven. All in all a very nice meal in nice surroundings with attentive staff will definitely be back, Parking available in service road outside, or car park across the road.

Booked a table for two, had a beautiful starter, extremely fresh. A very nice pasta main and finished off with dessert and coffee. Have to take off a point for having an 'x' in espresso on the coffee menu. Recommended.

Went on a weekday night, and there was literally only one other table occupied... My entire family and I ordered different meals. None of them tasted good, and I honestly prefer the flavours from frozen dinners or microwaved pasta from the grocery store... I had a lamb shank, and it was literally all salt and hardly any flavour. Personally, I would not recommend this place especially since the price wasn't exactly cheap either. You're better off going to a chain restaurant like Zizzi's or Prezzo

Went here for my Birthday last Friday, The atmosphere was very good, lots of buzz lots of chatter lots of people having a lovely time. The food was amazing, and very authentic. We had a good mix between us including Steak, ravioli, spaghetti bolognese, carbonara and pizza for the kids. The carbonara was absolutely delicious as was the ravioli. The steak was cooked very nicely and the spaghetti bolognese was also very tasty. Overall a great birthday meal. Will likely return in future even though we don't live in the area

Decent food.. the pasta wasn't the best I had..but it wasn't the worst either . However I feel the price did not justify the taste... The service was brilliant !

Tony, the chef plus staff, could not do enough for us and my mums 84th birthday It was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had The staff were all attentive, kind of accommodating, and just brilliant Food was delicious, and Tony flexed for my very demanding fussy mum ... she was so happy Thank you, team Casa Mia we will definitely be back .

This restaurant is just as the owners have described it. We were a party of 4. We all had different main courses. I had pizza, and you would expect that to be easy to replicate, especially in an Italian restaurant. Fortunately, I was not hungry. It was possibly the meanest pizza I have ever eaten. Thin base, I like that. Topping, miniscule. I could see far too much of the base past the topping. 5 * for the restaurant and staff. 3 * for the pizza

Food is delicious. Service is great - waiters are so helpful. Atmosphere is good however when it’s packed it’s quite tight.

This place has been one of my favourite restaurants for Italian food but when I visited yesterday the food was extremely bland. I ordered a ravioli with white sauce but when it came it looked like there was double cream just put on it with no flavour. Small portion sizes. Plate was half full. Travelling from Manchester to London we always look forward to eating here. Its become extremely cramped in there. They are cutting corners. Even the cheese on my husbands gnocchi was more like a mild cheddar then mozzarella. All extremely bland.

Is awful for this restaurant to have such a this manager without respect for the clients and to talk like that with the costumers and is not the first time!! I’ve been in here with my friends to have a dinner like we use to do sometimes and we were served more than awful by the person who is in charge with the management in here. I’m sorry to say but I’m very disappointed I did had another opinion some time ago but now I change it. I miss to be served by the glasses lady which always speak nice ,, the old man which is nice to and the small lady which was always smiling and talk nicely to us. Change your staff Casa Mia otherwise you will have no more customers. I’m not the only one who give up to go in there .

I recently had lunch at Casa Mia with a group of friends. The staff were warm and welcoming and all the meals were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We will definitely be coming again.

We’ve all been to Casa Mia a few times and had a lovely experience. But something went wrong last night. The restaurant was heaving with people both inside and queuing out the door. There were so few staff working that we waited an hour for proper service and the orders came back wrong - for starters and for mains. One of our party with a severe allergy was given the items they are allergic to despite the waiter being told at the point of ordering. One of the waiting staff smelled so badly of body odour that we had to tell the Manager - who’s reply was, and I quote; ‘When you can’t get the staff, you have to take what you can get’. We saw other patrons covering their nose when she approached their tables. Disgusting behaviour and wholly inappropriate to say that to patrons. Our bill was amended to reflect the issues but we are all very disappointed and won’t be returning in a hurry.

We had booked a table for 8 people on the 31st December 23 to celebrate New years even at Casa mia . We got a call from a lady to confirm our reservation 24 hours before & that’s when she mentioned it will be a set menu & we said we were not advise to us when we made the reservation a month ago so she said we can have Ala Carte menu but it will be a 2 hour slot which we accepted . Upon arrival we were seated on our table & we asked for the Ala carte menu all the 3 servers barely speak English looks confused & told us the chef will take your order & handed us the Ala carte menu we gave our orders however the chef seemed very abrupt & angry spoke very little English couldn’t understand a word he was saying . After we finished our meal one of the server handed us the set menu to order our deserts that's when we said we did not have set meal so don't need the menu she looked at us all confused , called the chef who than started screaming & shouting saying i told you even if you order from ala carte menu you will be charged for set meal , all we had for starters was garlic bread, olives & had main course each so we were explaining to him it was agreed with the lady who confirmed our reservation but he was not ready to listen kept screaming at us in Italian/broken English we were so embarrassing as everyone was looking at us , he said you pay GBP65 per person set meal & that’s it & left . so one of my cousin went up to the reception & explained all this & the lady agreed & confirmed to us she was the one who had agreed we can have ala carte menu at this point chef heard her came shouting & telling my cousin ' You pay & get out of the restaurant '. We got our bill paid for it & the lady apologies to us on behalf of the chefs. we will never go back to this restaurant absolutely disgusting customer service.

Very warm and friendly spot that is well known. Food is hearty and delicious, they make your evening very special.

Went last week with our daughter. Some of the best Italian food I have had besides Central London, but very disappointed that the owners have seen it fit to cram the restaurant with so, so many tables. We were packed like sardines. Also a bit stingy of the owners to charge 50p for some chilli flakes!!!

Usually I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family but it was a bit disappointed with the food. I ordered a sirloin steak which was very greasley and veg served with the dish looked like they were leftover from Christmas day. The starter was no better ordered calamari which was very chewie (not fresh but frozen). Well I'll think twice now before recommending or visiting the place. Oh one last thing they tried changing me for an extra beer, so be careful before paying the bill. Giving 2 stars for service only.

Wd had a meal on Sunday 18th Dec with my two grandchildren, and the food was exceptional and sooo tasty . I'll definitely be back for their 2 course for 22 quid bargin meal deal

Had a pre Xmas meal there with friends & opted for the Xmas menu which was lovely. Helpful & friendly staff. Busy environment full of families (early evening). It was all lovely.

Dinned in 26.11.2023 for a birthday celebration. Ordered from the set menu, the Lamb shank and the Creme Caramel with a can of coke. Half way through the meal I was informed the desert wasn’t available anymore so I decided not to have one as none of the others appealed to me. When the bill arrived I was still charged the set menu price which was cheeky despite 2 of the deserts not being available. A main course and a can of coke ended up costing me £22. Some other complaints being the pizza was not a traditional stoke bake pizza but more a frozen pizza. Very disappointed and shan’t be returning again.

Quite a small space for the number of tables, making it quite squashed. I had my head hit with handbags and noticed a group of ladies at the table next to us were able to listen to every word of our conversation. This led to us eventually realising they were staring at us for the last 5 minutes and it was extremely awkward. Fewer tables would make this place a little more comfortable. Food was mediocre. Pizza barely constitutes neopolitan style and pasta dishes were quite watery. The penne arrabiata was surprisingly good with a decent kick and a fairly thick sauce. Overall not great, much better options a short drive away.

Ordered a sirloin steak - medium, with peppercorn sauce. Steak was cooked well done and the sauce was like water. Very poor. They have nice pasta though.

This is the worst dinner we have had in a restaurant for years. Don't be mislead by the photos & good reviews, as it is a pie in the sky. The salad was an insult of withering rockets leaves, and the risotto was awful,old probably heated many times before. Nothing was fresh.The restaurant was crowded and we had to ask for service a few times. Never again.

Amazing food with amazing prices

Attended for my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday. Service was awful - took an hour for the starters and a further hour for mains. When challenged, the answer was “what d’you want me to do, sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s not!”….like this appeared normal. Food was so awful - like something from the 1970s. Chicken escalope was battered to within an inch of its life, deep fried and so heavily breaded that needed a steak knife to cut through it and a strong jaw to chew it. Pasta was over cooked. Bread was microwaved to make it warm, to the point that it started re-baking to a chewy dough. Salad was brown lettuce and risotto had way more bite than it should have. Bottled water was good.

Had lunch there today, usually nice, but the service today was just appalling, nearly 2 hours to get our main courses, which I appreciate can happen anywhere, can happen, but what really annoyed me was when we mentioned it to the owner he was so indifferently about it, no apology, it was just so what it happens, which I appreciate this happens but the indifferent attitude of the staff and owner is what has annoyed me.

We met my sister for an early bird meal on a week day night at 6 pm. We were shown to our table, and given both the early bird menu and regular one. We decided to eat off of the early bird one, priced at £15.95 for 2 courses. We ordered prawn cocktail, tempura prawns and avocado 🥑 and tomatoes, all were nice portions. Mains were lamb shank for me, fell away from the bone, nice and tasty, hot and came with nice veg, my sister had haddock in a nice sauce she loved it, and hubby had chicken schnitzel with spaghetti 🍝 he loved it. My sister and I were to full but there was tirimisu on the menu that hubby had he was in heaven. Good amount of parking in service road or car park behind the shops on the other side of road . All the witnesses were friendly, and the price is extremely good for what you get on your plate we will definitely return

Did not actually go here. Went to Bandaa but Google maps picked up on the wrong spot. Although I've been here many years ago and it was really nice. Unfortunately, Bandaa is my usual go-to but their service and good quality has really declined in recent months so I don't think I'll be going that much anymore ...

Went for my mothers birthday which was one of maybe ten happening on that Sunday evening. The staff were very friendly and brought out a candle for her when we got dessert. The food was okay - along with a bottle of white wine, for starters we ordered: 1. Sliced aubergines baked with mozzarella, parmesan, tomato sauce and basil - this was nice 7/10 2. Pacific prawns cooked in butter and garlic sauce - prawns were pretty tough and the flavour was okay 4/10 For mains we ordered: 1. Fettucine with mushroom and truffle pesto - there was no truffle taste so it was pretty bland 1/10 2. Pizza Siciliana (V) - this was decent but nothing special I would go out of my way for 5/10 For dessert we ordered: 1. Tiramisu - this was pretty nice and light 8/10 2. Chocolate Soufflé - this was also pretty nice 8/10 Overall, it was decent but nothing I would rave about. My rating is mostly based on the food which I would summarise as just okay.

Visited on the spur of the moment Friday night, we didn't have a booking but they were able to seat us. Atmosphere was buzzy, service was efficient. Food was delicious and great portions, fried zucchini side was fab. Great bottle of Primitivo too. Will definitely be back

I went back to my hometown with my Mum for her birthday and chose to have dinner at Casa Mia as the whole family, especially her, have always loved the food here. Today did not disappoint yet again, and infact was better as we just felt a genuine good vibe from one waitress in particular called Anca.

First time visit. Wanted an authentic Italian restaurant. Food was to die for. Had my favourite, veal in mushroom and white wine sauce, sauté potatoes and vegetables, started was an aubergine small platesimilarto lasagne. Had chocolate fudge cake with cream as very rich, gorgeous. All lovely. The ambience was cosy and staff very helpful and polite. Would highly recommend visiting.

Fabulous Italian, service was really good, food was delish. The garlic bread is basically a pizza base with garlic butter on it, but found it a little dry. The brushetta pomodoro and brie were really nice. The pizza was really tasty and the chillies had a real kick. Loved the tiramasu and chocolate souffle. Personally I didnt like the bannoffe pie but others in my group did! Def worth a visit.

First time visiting due to recommendations and I cannot express how enjoyable both atmosphere and food was. Great service lovely food will definitely be coming back. Thank you 😊

Lovely evening dinner! Even though I eat meat, I opted for the veggie lasagne and shared the ravioli and calamari. The lasagne was so delicious (asked for extra cheese and chilli!) The calamari was really good too, the only thing was though the ravioli was not up to par. Service was good even though the restaurant was really busy!

The food was very ordinary. The garlic bread was burnt and not edible. The chicken dish i ordered was horrible. The meat was hard and the sauce was tasteless. I will not recommend going there.

Came to Casa Mia for Mothers Day and had an incredibly poor meal. Restaurant was clearly over booked, seated at our reservation time of 7:30 but didn't get to order our drinks until 8:15 and didn't get starters until gone 9pm, then another 45 minute wait for main courses. Food either under cooked or swimming in oil, risotto made with long grain rice but nobody asked why our mains were left mostly uneaten.

Nice authentic family run Italian and beautiful decor. the food is amazing! I would say it is one of the best Italian restaurants I have been. We didn’t order too much, we ordered: Starters: Garlic bread - 8/10 Gamberi Tempura - 8/10 Bruschetta - 8/10 Mains: Penne campagnola (added prawns) - 9/10 Penne Arrabiata - 8/10 Spaghetti all’s carbonara - 8/10 I’d highly recommend

Small local restaurant on the uxbridge road. Limited street parking available. The service was excellent. Waitresses quickly delivered the menu and took our order efficiently and all with a smile. The food service was equally good and the bill was delivered on request. I ordered an arrabbiata pasta dish which was served with chicken. The pasta was overcooked - I had expected al dente. Dessert was huge and very tasty - tirimasu

Came here for mothers day as a family to treat our parents. Service was really really bad. Had to ask 3 to 4 times for sauces and oils with the food. We had a ten minute wait for a jug of water. Won't be coming here again in the near future and won't be recommending this to family and friends.

Amazing place, once you know you know, don't be scared by how busy it is, there is a reason! Cute boutique style place with an amazing venue, I'm a vegan and I love how many options can be veganised, for the vegetarians also many choices! Can't comment on the meat but it is well ventilated and if like me you dislike the smell of cooked dead animals don't worry! The restaurant is very well ventilated and there are no strong scents, you are free to enjoy, The locals love this place call and book but surprisingly outstanding in comparison to other Italian cuisines on the same street

The pasta is nice but there chicken dishes are not very nice they are very rubbery chicken so do not order them dishes stick to pasta only. It is a very expensive restaurant as well for what you get

Had a lovely meal at Casa Mia and was transported to Italy with the unique setting. For starters I had the prawn torpedo which was tempura prawns- not sure how Italian this is but it was delicious all the same! My partner had the bruschetta which was nice, although the bread was very doughy. The mains were lovely. My partner was pleased that he could have pasta with his veal main, with his own choice of sauce. The highlight of the meal was definitely the cheesecake and I would go as far to say it was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!! Really good value for money and will visit again soon, even just for the cheesecake!

Had a company Xmas dinner here. They were able to handle a relatively large group of us and provide an efficient service. Food was a set meal choice. Food was nice and sufficient.
