The best restaurants serving Italian food in East of England

One of the best stone baked Italian pizza I have tried till date. Friendly staff, amazing atmosphere and really quick service.

Christmas Eve meal just right for my mother and me. Delicious food, generous portions: mushrooms in garlic and mushrooms with liver; sea bream and salmon wrapped in prosciutto;coffee ice cream; good wine; service attentive without being fussy; warm, friendly atmosphere, as always. All good!

Lovely decor, great service but the food was poor. The pizza was so tough I couldn't cut it and it was bland. Very expensive drinks. Unlikely to return

Such a lovely, friendly restaurant. Service was excellent even though it was full when we visited. We weren’t rushed at all, and the food was delicious. Great for kids.

Food tastes good and the atmosphere was nice. A small group of us went early evening and enjoyed our visit. 1 thing to improve on. Staff need more comprehensive menu training as we had to translate some menu items into English as we got blank looks when using the menu names for the dishes.

Enjoyable meal at Limoncello. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and prices fair. Our party sampled rockfish, pasta and lamb and all three dished were well prepared and presented

Although i have not been here for some time i can see why it was so busy. Great welcome from Graham and his staff. Friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Food was great and service excellent. I will certainly visit again soon and bring more friends.

We chose La Sirena having been before, for a pre Christmas family meal. The food was a bit slow coming but hey plenty of time to catch up with family over drinks. When it did arrive the food as always, superb and plentiful. The staff were very pleasant and accomodating. I would recommend this eaterie for lunch and dinner.

One of the better restaurants in Elveden. Christine, who looked after us, was a gem, both helpful and amusing. She was very attentive to our son with learning difficulties and also to our toddler granddaughter The food was very nice too.

La comida era buena y todo el mundo tenía mucho cuidado con las alergias que tenemos dos de nosotros. Este restaurante ofrece más opciones para personas con alergias que muchos otros restaurantes. Sin duda volveríamos la próxima vez que estemos en Cambridge.

What a fabulous and welcoming family Italian restaurant. Everyone so friendly and helpful. We had the set 2 course menu. Good varied options, big portions, delicious! Didn’t feel service was rushed as can often happen when busy. You can tell they take a pride in what they do. Will definitely be back.
