Absolutely delicious food, the atmosphere is warm and the server/owner is delightful! My daughter described the spaghetti bolognese as the best she’s ever eaten; I thought this to be a tad hyperbolic until I tasted the pizza….which was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The portions are generous without being excessive and I can’t believe people are going over the road for a takeaway when the quality and value for money at Valentino is top drawer. Visiting from Liverpool but likely to return on our next time in Cleethorpes!

Very disappointed after our visit last night.More staff than usual, but feel that the standards have dropped and the restaurant is looking tired and in need of a good re fresh and clean!! The table was clean but the seats had food and sauce on them when we went to sit down. No pasta crisps served and the beer glasses are normally served frozen but not tonight!! The waitress well the services seemed forced and she probably wanted to be somewhere else. Nobody came to check if the food was ok no sauces or parmesan were offered. My pizza wasn’t the best and the starter came wrong. Lots of people were also turned away it was 6pm on a Saturday and the restaurant wasn’t even half-full. In all not a good visit shame really as we visit every few weeks.

Love Zizzys in the Metrocentre Gateshead the food is always good but today on Mother's Day 30th March 2025 they failed miserably. While finishing eating the starter two of the main courses arrived. There was three of us and the third arrived after 30 minutes and was disgusting. Here's what happened, they forgot about the 3rd main and rushed it through. The lad who served us was so disinterested he should not be working there. I paid £105 for poor service and poor quality food. As a food critic I will be reporting back. Why did two of the mains arrive so early and one was forgotten. Weak management and poor staff . What a shame letting the people who pay their wages down

Me and my family always have such a great experience at this Pizza Express! All of the staff are so lovely and attentive ! Genta mod in particular is so kind and really gos above and beyond ! I wouldn’t go to any other pizza express but this one ! They are the best ❤️food is also soo fresh !

Walked in to be greeted by no one… then a guy laying down on the sofa (hung over) got up to say hello (after we had walked around twice) we said we had a booking under the name of … he then said how many I said not sure he said well if you don’t know then you can’t sit down??? Most awkward encounter. No people skills at all. I can’t comment on the food but the service was the worse I have ever experienced.

I come to tell my experience so that it doesn't happen to anyone else. I have booked with them through Booking for 5 nights, with the option of paying at the establishment, I normally use this method since I have had surprises when arriving at the places and it is a bit of a way to cover their backs. It turns out that with more than a month left to get to the place, they began to transfer the full charge for the room to the card I had on it over and over again, trying to get 500...400...250 euros whatever they could get. I contact the establishment and they tell me that it is an internal policy that the establishment has (which at no time does it put it in the reservation or in Booking or anything) to which I tell them that where it said that in the reservation, there was never a response. I tried calls, messages, but the only thing they responded to me was through email. I spoke directly to booking to see if they could help me with the situation and they told me the same thing that their policy does not say anything about what they are saying that they would talk to the accommodation. Booking contacts me a few days later to tell me that they have not received a response from the accommodation, what a coincidence just like me, but to continue passing the charge on the account if they appear quickly. Obviously seeing what was happening, I booked another establishment but I wanted to see how far these scammers would go. I contacted the establishment again and a certain Renata answered telling me not to worry that they were no longer going to make any charges except that they would keep my reservation and that everything would be charged to me at the accommodation without any problem. A week later there was the attempt to charge my account again. I contact the accommodation and Renata tells me again that they have not been charging me at the accommodation for everything, and the amount matches the reservation but they have not been clear. Today, with two days left to arrive at the accommodation, they tried to charge my card again and with it they canceled the reservation without communication without knowing anything or contacting me in any way. I have photos of the conversations, of the attempts to charge the account, of the emails of everything I tried to talk about but without success. I hope this helps people who want to go to this site and think like me. So that your trip doesn't get screwed up at the last minute.
