Excellent place and a good much needed addition to the area . It looks and feel expansive- which means the dinners make an effort and it also attracts nice people but yet it caters for any sensible budget really . Highly recommend it for a family lunch or dinner .

In a truly great setting and lovely location, the disappointment my friend and I experienced related to the meals can not be described even by terrible! The starter (raw seabass) was returned after a few mouthfuls and the same happened with the main course, recommended by the waiter as the "best on the menu" (Ragu). Absolutely unacceptable.

Had a lovely afternoon! Went for a birthday lunch, the italian food was very tasty and the staff were so courteous and asked if we enjoyed the food and if we needed anything. Really great restaurant. Beautiful decor, seating in the courtyard too.

Superb! I can say no more really, but there is a minimum number of characters permitted. Ambience: Superb! Beautifully appointed and furnished rooms. Service: Superb! 'Bobby' service was immaculate and not in the least intrusive. Food: Superb! Absolutely Six Star! Value: Superb, but not for those on a limited budget - £££ think £100 plus per person. How I wish I could eat here at least once a week.

Like some other reviews say, great surroundings but poor over priced food. The desserts were nice but both starters and mains a huge disappointment. Luke warm, unpleasant textures, bland. Would not recommend giving this restaurant a try sadly.

The venue is absolutely delightful. Food is average. Service is slow. Might be due to it being early days since opening but I would have expected better service.

Came with high expectations. The hotel and the restaurant is beautifully done. The food was average, disappointing bearing in mind the reputation of the head chef Maoro who has 3 stars in Italy. Anyway really average to tasteless food. The service when it appeared was poor to average, had to wait for ever for the food to arrive…. Really below standard needs a total change although only opened two months ago… Shame. Good luck!

We celebrated Christmas Eve at this gorgeous restaurant with friends and family. Had few drinks at their beautiful bar while waiting for our guests. The decore is really chic with nice decorations, warm and attentive service, authentic Italian food and amazing cocktails. Food

Wanted to try this new Italian restaurant in the Old War Office. Excellent service and nice menu although some of the items were not on the menu. The wine list was very comprehensive and good selection but the mark up of the wine was quite high! The restaurant itself had very nice decor and the food was good but we felt it was a little on the expensive side for what we had! Nice bar and we enjoyed pre diner cocktails.

Let me start with some positives. A beautiful space, superbly lit for a relaxed evening, warm and friendly staff, and a nicely curated menu. But after that, this restaurant does not punch above its weight in any way. The Truffle Gnocchetti was good enough, without being spectacular. The Galetto was roast spring chicken executed well enough, but served as it was with small sprinkling of roast potatoes it was well.....uninspiring. We shared desserts - the semifreddo was absolutely delicious, the tarte tatin undercooked and actually cold, and the tiramisu bland and over-creamed. The service was friendly but nowhere near as sharp as one would expect from a new restaurant in one of London's top new hotels. We lost count of the number of times we ordered but did not receive another bottle of water for example. And there was very loud music on the whole time, such that hearing what people from the other side of the table were actually saying was really difficult. We asked for it to be turned down, and on the second time of doing so it was reduced. This was explained as being a fault in the sound system that if they turn it down in one part of the restaurant then people in the other part can't hear any music. I have nothing against the people on the other side of the restaurant, who I am sure love their music and are very lovely folks, but I don't see why I should pay good money to endure overly loud music to create a "perfect experience" for them. We are not big drinkers, but we still paid £115 per head. Overall, (music excepted) it was OK. But there are dozens of other restaurants with these kind of prices delivering a far better experience, with better food and better service. Pull your socks up Paper Moon, or you will be running half empty once the "new thing in town" vibe wears off.

Allways a bit worried about going to eat at 5 star hotel the food more the often does not give value or taste very good But here there is no such problem The portions are of a good size and everything is seasoned well The room is nice a calm , Prices are what you would expect to pay but when it’s good you don’t have a issue Will hopefully return in the new year

Firstly the OWO is absolutely stunning! What a beautiful building, decadently designed with amazing interior. Papermoon is also exceptionally designed with a beautiful finish. We had a lovely meal here. Great wine selection and good food. However food just needs more refinement, which is why I would not rush back in a hurry. I have dined in paper moon Hong Kong and Milan hence the choice of booking here, knowing how great the food is there but the London one is lacking. Service was good but quite slow, food took a while to come… will put this down to the restaurant being very new. We ordered to share starters: King crab (was out of stock today, one of my favourites so was disappointed!) Buratta - it came with roasted vegetables and just lacked flavour Raviolo - was really nice and tasted homemade Fritto Misto- was nice Melograno salad- it was not dressed… this was very odd. Hence why it had no flavour and was just some leaves and garnish Filleto di Manzo- the steak tasted of high quality but as you can see from the pictures the peppercorn sauce was resembling a tomato cream, it was sweet and completely wrong. Did not compliment the steak at all and to me was inedible, really disgusting and ruined a lovely piece of meat. I was completely gutted as peppercorn sauce should be a brown/reduction glazing sauce. Would definitely not recommend ordering this. Veal Milanese- again, it just was not correct. The coating tasted buttery and was not crispy at all. The recipe needs amending or there was mistaken when making the outside coating. Grilled monk fish- this was delicious but the portion was tiny! Thank god we ordered side dishes. Grilled vegetables side- were bland and again needed flavour Desserts - tarte Tatin, pannacotta were delicious! Could not fault them however the sphere just melted into a passion fruit soup on the plate and was not enjoyable. Moreover, food definitely needs some refining to match up with the 5* interior / drinks / atmosphere and location. Another cause for concern is the LACK OF PARKING!!!!! Make sure you take a taxi or walk here as the hotel and restaurant offer no parking or even valet for guests. It made us 20 minutes late for our reservation and was really annoying. OWO Management should rethink this choice ASAP.

Recently opened inside the majestic Raffles hotel at OWO and we already dined here twice. One of the best Italian restaurant in London I have tried so far. Perfectly cooked and very nice presentation, well balanced quantity and high quality ingredients. I’m still craving their gnocchi with truffle. Creative and delicious cocktails alongside with Italians classics and gin-based cocktails. Delicious dessert, especially Tart Tatin and Pannacotta. Highly recommended for any type of occasion.

We stayed at the Raffles London and decided to eat at Paper Moon as we both like Italian Food and didn't want to leave the hotel complex. We made the reservation through the hotel. The restaurant has a lovely decor and feel to it, though for our liking the tables are too close together. Having a private conversation felt impossible and getting up and out between the tables was difficult. The service was friendly, attentive and good from the moment we walked in. Our food was lovely, although my pasta could have been cooked a tad longer. The Tiramisu was delicious and a good portion. When it came to pay we learnt that we could not sign the bill to our room, which we were surprised about but we understand that this is something that is being looked into to rectify it. We would definitely come back again when we are in London.

Starting with the positive the dining room was beautifully decorated and the waiting staff were very attentive. Unfortunately the pasta was for one of us not just al dente, but very undercooked and for the other really soft … more like egg noodles. The clams were not sweet but rather fishy tasting. Sadly not very fresh. Maybe teething problems in the kitchen as this is a new opening but in all honesty there are much better high-end Italian restaurants I would return to in London. I might add that the staff on reception were a little aloof and disorganised … not the welcome you would expect, but again, maybe just teething problems. We had high expectations after staying and dining at Raffles in Singapore and reading so many exciting reviews in the press, but doubt we will return to this London outpost.

Having had such a great meal at Paper Moon in Milan, I was pleased to see it was going to be one of the 9 restaurants within the recently opened Raffles OWO. I had a great experience. Food was beautifully presented & for the most part, delicious. Service was faultless - polished but friendly, the surroundings elegant but easy going. The hotel in general is a sight to behold. Be sure to call in at the intimate Guards Bar for a Singapore or London Sling.

Totally disappointed with the service👎. The staff member was disrespectful. Ice creams were delicious but the iced coffee was disgusting. We had a group of 10 and all were extremely unsatisfied with her reactions.

Was trying to find a place to eat while on our mini break and walked past here and thought we would give it a go. One of the best pizzas we have had, lady working was super friendly and served us quickly. Also loved the interior decor. Thank you for a great spontaneous dinner.

Now trading as Cintra.. OK food, but very expensive for what was on offer. We eat out on a regular basis, we wouldn't be tempted back here any time soon. Nice location looking over the harbour

We popped in here on the off chance that we could get a table, having been previously we knew the food was good. Ella was our server for the evening. She was full of recommendations from drinks, starters and mains. She was so bubbly and a wonderful character, which is what you want from a front of house member. She really made our experience worthwhile so thank you very much! The food was delicious as expected. We'll definitely be back

Have just wasted £32 on an utterly tasteless breakfast. 35 mins for food to arrive, miserable staff. Dreadful experience.
