The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

We visit this restaurant regularly as a party of 2. We have never been disappointed on the contrary we have always been delighted. The service is friendly, they do not rush to charge your glasses which we find rather annoying and unnecessary. The manager and staff are most accommodating we usually have fish dishes where portions are more than ample, flavourful and fresh. Starters are brilliant, calamari cooked to perfection. Pasta so good, it certainly suits my taste. If anything to be said it is that there is at times too much food and we feel guilty to leave it because it has been so nice. Desserts - just try them.

Brilliant place and great atmosphere. Food is amazing and they really look after you, recommending different drinks to try etc.

Warning! Tonight I ordered a pizza for delivery, they appear to have taken my money and the pizza didn’t arrive. I tried calling but it went to voicemail.

We visited as a family with two children this evening for the first times Food was fabulous, such authentic Italian food, children’s portions were huge Staff were so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much for them Will be back soon

Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Service for getting first drink was slow, and the pizzas are over priced. The calamari and salmon linguine were really nice. The casa nostra prawns are amazing.

Maravillosa comida en Il Bachio. Gran servicio y comida increíble. Me encantó el pan fino de barquillos y mi pasta con huevas y almejas de bacalao era un plato enorme de exquisitez. Nuestra mesa estaba en la sala de fiestas, que era agradable y cómoda. Estoy deseando que llegue mi próxima visita!

Amazing experience. Made it worth the trip from UK. Sneha hosted us and she’s the most lively person. Loved every moment. Good food and amazing service.

Pedí una tortilla & fue increíble y la presentación fue de 10 / 10 , disfrutamos mucho de esta comida y recomendaría encarecidamente este lugar para comida & bebidas. El personal también es muy amable y educado! X

The buy prepared base and topping it in very bad quality been in 2017 hope is closed ever now. Rude stuff not clean very uncomfortable place

Attended a friends birthday at Roccos on Saturday night. Nice setting and a lovely welcome from the staff; cocktail menu was good, something to please everyone and appropriately priced. We preordered our food due to the size of the party and I must admit it took me a while to choose as it all sounded so tasty!! In the end I opted for the beef carpaccio as starter which was delicious followed by a pasta dish (paccheri ossolani) which was also very tasty. Would happily go back and try some other yummy options from the menu. Thanks for a fab evening.

Once again a delicious homemade soup and scone. Lively but not loud atmosphere and excellent friendly service. Had already had a smoothie earlier, which was also delicious.

Nothing bad about this place, it's very tired and food is okay and nothing to write home about. Shame as that extra little effort on the dishes with some flavours, more fresh produce would make a big difference for what they charge. The hole where evidently there was a lamp on every table being pat he'd up pretty much says it all, must have taken time and effort but a new table cloth (even if still plastic!) may have looked smarter. £40/head okay for location, just shame that little extra effort would shine considering its right in the City.

We get our pizza for our darts team home games and patrons never misses! Always great quality and service. Next late with delivery! Very reliabe, very tasty and very affordable. 100% recommend

Had a meal here with friends. I must say that for a menu so expensive, the pasta was seriously bland!
