Punto in Hillingdon

We visit this restaurant regularly as a party of 2. We have never been disappointed on the contrary we have always been delighted. The service is friendly, they do not rush to charge your glasses which we find rather annoying and unnecessary. The manager and staff are most accommodating we usually have fish dishes where portions are more than ample, flavourful and fresh. Starters are brilliant, calamari cooked to perfection. Pasta so good, it certainly suits my taste. If anything to be said it is that there is at times too much food and we feel guilty to leave it because it has been so nice. Desserts - just try them.

I phoned to enquire if they were taking part in the government scheme ...to my delight they were HOWEVER they failed to mention they were not doing the 50% up to £10 off. I was shocked to see when the bill arrived only 25% off. Disappointing food, needed seasoning and was surprised to see a cup of salt being passed around from table to table for people to put their fingers into. Not ideal in current covid climate. I dont want anyone touching the ingredients in my food unless it is the chef!

We visited last week and unfortunately, we will not be returning. The service was very good. The starters were great but the mains were inedible and tasteless. It felt like they were focusing on deliveries and collections rather than people dining in.

Went to Punto last night and what can I say!!!! Such an amazing night!!!! Live music and such lovely staff!!! Cannot recommend enough!!! Food and service was 100%! Will definitely be returning soon!!!

What a fabulous place. Been meaning to go for a while. So glad I celebrated my birthday here with my family. All the staff were attentive and friendly. Singer was fantastic. Prices reasonable

Ive been here a few times.some good an some bad. my daughters 18th was brillant I must say. But this Saturday we went was disgusting hour and 15 mins before starter. then dinner well I ordered steak in red wine sauce and chips and it came with peppercorn an baby pototoes.i said to manager I asked for red wine sauce oh sorry we dont do it in red wine sauce so I took the menu up and said whats that say RED WINE SAUCE he didnt seem to care really. My friend had fish dish with mussels and came out with just shells she complained we got 30 pounds of bill. And still had to pay service charge of 21 pounds. music great and two of my friends were sick all day long with the salmon and meatballs staff are friendly. And the vodka is watered down u need 4 shots before u can taste it dont think I will go again.

Last night we celebrated my birthday and the restaurant staff were great, very attentive, food was great, good selection with ample choice. They surprised me with a birthday dessert which was very thoughtful. I could not fault any part of the evening. We will return.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday 1st February 2020 as a party of six. What a dreadful experience. After finishing starters it took a further 45 minutes to get mains. When they arrived, one of the dishes was cold while the prawns on another dish were still in their shells. By the time shells were peeled off, the pasta on that dish was cold. On this particular evening there was a singer/guitarist who was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation with my friends. I spoke to the manager about our experiences and his response was 'I'M NOT BOTHERED'. I am not easily offended but the customer service at this restaurant is nothing less than appalling. To make matters worse they had the cheek to add a service charge of £13.00 on the bill and this was after I had complained to the manager. I have never experienced anything like this before.

Had a really good New Years Eve meal. Music was great. Service could have been better but it was very busy. Rather expensive £144 for two of us and we weren't drinking.

Had a brilliant time last weekend & found the service from Tkni & his team absolutely spot on . In the balk from the minute we arrived to the time we left. The menu has a supreme selection for all tastes. The food was lovely, large portions & very tasty. The singer/ Entertainment was great & got all tables up dancing & singing with him. I organised a large family meal and pre booked all the meals. I was really disappointed that we arrived at 7pm and we didn’t finishing eating our dessert until 10.30pm, They were short staffed and we waited an hour between courses kind of spoilt the evening. They wouldn’t allow us to order drinks from the bar and pay as we went along, they insisted it had to go on the table bill, I think Panto is great for small groups but are not set up to cater for big events.

Went to Punto in Ruislip Manor for the first time last night and was so impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and the entertainment was absolutely fantastic! There was a great atmosphere there and the staff were friendly and courteous. The girl singer (I think her name was Cheryl) had a fantastic voice and was absolutely brilliant - everyone was up dancing. It has a very lively, noisy ambience and we’ll definitely be going back!

Takeaway from the branch in Mill End, Rickmansworth. Pizza was delicious. My husband had steak with roast potatoes and veg, huge portions, quality meat well cooked. The food all tastes really fresh. Delivery man is really nice, much nicer to be delivered by those who really work in the restaurant. They also have a credit card machine to pay at the door which is better than any other food delivery.

Previous reviews are extremely misleading. The food was absolutely hideous and the wine was even worse. Half of the our group were violently sick the following day. At the end of the meal, the card machine was conveniently out of order which meant us having to take cash out at the local ATM which charged us for the service. Would never return, ever. (There is no option to do ‘zero star’ rating)

Went for a friends birthday. The food was average. Calamari was quite nice but not enough sauce with it. The main was horrible. I had chicken and it was like eating a flip flop. The spaghetti was bland and not seasoned well. I has icecream to finish which was ok no sauce on it though. This cost £29 including a group service charge. It should be pointed out that service charges are no longer a legal requirement and if you dont want to pay it you dont have to. The entertainment and atmosphere was brilliant. The waiters were good fun so I would go back for that reason.

Only had a pizza and garlic bread, but they let me make it up with ingredients I wanted, including pineapple. They used their cocktail display one for me, as it’s not part of the kitchens stock. They couldn’t have been more obliging. The staff and owner are friendly, helpful and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. Most important, the pizza was fantastic and so was the garlic bread. Definitely, this is going to be our go to Italian from now on. Plenty of free street parking too. Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Visited on Saturday night, had a great evening. Food was really nice, even though it was busy,good service too. Great atmosphere, singer and a little dance too. All the staff were lovely, made us very welcome. Highly recommend for a good night out!

I visited for my birthday meal. I had the spinach chicken, which was delicious...the pasta especially lovely. The desserts and cocktails are also very nice here. Service was also good.

I have visited Punto on a busy Friday night and the food / service and entertainment was great! Maybe a bit loud for the catch up I had planned with my friend but good for birthdays / hen nights etc. My second trip was for a lunch with my mum which we both enjoyed very much. Since then and now something has gone very wrong. Is the restaurant now under new management? When we last went the staff were friendly, attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. It was as though in the last month they have had personality transplants. First of all front of house was a woman who did not seem to know what she was doing and had to ask the manager if we could be seated despite us having booked and the restaurant being empty. It took half an hour for our drinks to arrive and one our party who ordered a Diet Coke was given half a glass of flat tepid drink. This was replaced with a full glass of fizzy drink when he commented on it. An attempt was made on another member of our party to purchase an unwanted (more expensive) drink, which made us a bit annoyed. Perhaps the waiter picked up on this as service rapidly deteriorated from this point. It took a total of 2 hours to be served one course by which time we needed to be somewhere else so missed out on the dessert. In fact we were so annoyed none of us actually wanted it anyway in the end. To add insult to injury other parties were being served ahead of us - I saw desserts being served to a family who came in a long time after us. They were lucky we didn’t walk out without paying. They certainly did not get a tip and we won’t be going back. I didn’t think the food I had was as good as on previous visits either hence my earlier comment on new management? The three-star rating is awarded due to my mixed experiences - good and bad. I would not even give one star for the last visit.

We booked this restaurant, which I would advice, as we had previously visited for a birthday celebration and decided to visit again with a party of 30. The staff are very attentive and at the weekends they have live music, which is great. You can get up and dance and it has a wonderful atmosphere. The food is good, the staff are wonderful. They allowed us to put up some balloons and bring in a cake. Would recommend and will be visiting again. Thank you for making our parents anniversary so lovely.

We had heard good reviews from Punto in Windsor so thought we would give this a try for Mother’s Day. The food was ok. For the prices they are charging we expected much better.

These days we expect standards to be high, so I personally was disappointed with the food. Over 10 of us sat down to eat, when the food came, none of us absolute zero did not say wow, delicious, you have to try this, this is amazing or any such words like it. Over half said the food was ok, some said it was under cooked, some said it was bland, one person found a piece of metal (it looked like wire, 2 inches long) in his pasta. For me the lamb was well under done, not only that it was described as Lamb Cutlets in the menu but came as a rack of lamb, so really pink in the middle with white uncooked fat on it. Everything was average or below, no one was blown away. Yes its pricey but Italian restaurants normally are, £30 to £50 per head is the norm. None of us said they would go back. If you want a romantic evening then don’t go at the weekends, its all parties. The owner or head waiter was fabulous and very attentive, he knew what he was doing, quick and professional, its just a shame the food did not live up to expectations.

Dined in this new restaurant in Ruislip Manor last weekend and overall had a good evening. We had been looking for somewhere that had descent food with live entertainment, which is very hard to find unless you go into London.

Avoid this restaurant. The food was terrible, service was no better, beers were warm. When we asked for the bill we ended up with someone else's and we got no apology. The only good thing about the restaurant was the entertainment. Will not be going again.

We went with friends to Punto last night, we were very disappointed with the service, the food was really poor. My partner ordered the Brie in breadcrumbs and we are sure it was cheddar!

Having been to Punto before we thought we would try the lunch menu 2 courses for £8.95, this is excellent value for money we had minestrone soup and bruschetta followed by lasagna and mushroom risotto, very tasty and excellent quality. Definitely a must try for lunch

Just sampled the 2 course lunch menu and I can honestly say you will not be able to spend £8.95 anywhere else and get such value.

Had a great night on Saturday 2nd February

Fully booked so thought that was a good sign. Service was very slow, from taking our order to actually bringing the food. Took 3 hours for us to have a meal, without dessert or coffee. The food itself was ok, although the quality of the ingredients wasn’t the best. Pizza base was very nice; good thickness and nice texture. Presentation of the food wasn’t very refined...looked a bit rushed. There was live music, although the style of music wasn’t suited to an italian restaurant at all (old Elvis songs, buddy holly etc). Would have preferred Mediterranean style instrumental to suit the style of food. A bit confused why they had that to be honest. Had to talk loudly to be able to have a conversation whilst waiting (a long time) for our food. Was an ‘ok’ meal, but won’t be rushing back.

Had a great meal here as we always have had at the Old Windsor restaurant........

This was my second visit to this restaurant and the food wasn't as good when visited first time. If you go on a Friday or Saturday there is live music around 9pm (old chap singing pop songs).... One complaint is that first time round we were charged for an extra cocktail we didn't have and second time round we were charged an extra £4.50 for an extra portion of food we didn't have.... Speaking with a few local friends that have been they have experienced the same thing, which is very disappointing... When I approached the waiter second time round to remove this item he took his pen and wrote minus £2 on the bill only to be told it should be minus £4.50... I will not be going back to this restaurant as there seems to be a habit of overcharging!!!!

I have been a few times to this new Italian restaurant as it is outstanding. The food is on point, the staff are fantastic, and with live music most evenings, it has an unbelievable atmosphere. I highly recommend this for parties, date nights, a couples night...or just anything really. Fantastic for all occasions in all honesty. I will be back with my partner again...and again!

I just cant praise this restaurant enough. Their food is so delicious and for sure the best Italian restaurant in the area. Service is so helpful and offer great hospitality. Last but not least I just love that they offer live music every Friday and Saturday night which brings together the customers. An amazing restaurant worth to visit

Great food, lively atmosphere. Music, singing and dancing on a Saturday night. If you want a quiet meal and a chat go somewhere else as you won't be able to hear what anyone is saying!

After visiting this restaurant before we decided to celebrate my birthday here, warmly greeted by friendly staff, we shared a bruschetta followed by fillet steak with peppercorn sauce which just melted and spaghetti Mare E Monte which was excellent too accompanied by Grapo Nero a quality red wine. For dessert lemon cheesecake and tiramisu. Thank you all I really enjoyed the evening.

We were lucky enough to be invited to the opening night of this new restaurant and got to try the food and have a few glasses of wine. It was fabulous and the staff are incredibly friendly. I enjoyed it so much I'm going back for my birthday next week! Absolutely brilliant restaurant and not too far from home! Excellent!

This restaurant has only been here a matter of weeks. Myself and my daughter went for a quiet Italian instead we ended up dancing and singing away until very late on a Friday evening (live music on Friday and Saturday).

Once again fabulous authentic Italian food. Thanks to the staff for making the evening special for us and for entertaining our 2 year old grandchild

Such an amazing restaurant. Really loved it the 3 times I've been there in 3 weeks time (that sort of tells you that I really love the food ). It's just so nice and tasty food. Have had bruchetta (best in town for sure) and as take away fiorentina pizza. Food is really amazing. And the service is just outstanding and very detail oriented. Just really want to recommend this place big time. Will definately come back to this stylish amazing place

Had noticed that the restaurant had just opened were one of our old favourite used to be, so decided to pay a visit.

After being invited to the Grand Opening which we thoroughly enjoyed. We returned on Friday evening where we were warmly greeted by friendly staff. The menu had unusual dishes which were new to us. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening especially the spaghetti Mare E Monte and the Tiramisu, the service was impeccable and not intrusive. A return visit is guaranteed

We arrived as a group of 3 adults and we were actually walking to dine elsewhere. This appears to be a very new Italian restaurant and we were drawn in by the choices on the menu.
