Nonna Rosa in Hillingdon

Food was ok. The place has a funny smell. Like old carpets. They should do something about that. I’m not going back anyways.

The staff was very friendly and we felt very good about the food and the service was excellent.

This is my local and visit this Italian place quite often , however my last two visits weren’t as great. Normally the service and waiters are amazing but those occasions I was quite upset , one of the waiters , female , blonde hair short lady she is not polite whatsoever , she ruined mine and my family’s experience . She had an attitude also slammed the glass quite aggressively. All I did was ask if I could sit somewhere in specific, the answer was no and was fine with me however her response was rude . The male waiters are professional and go out there way to serve you. But not this young women . It has really put me off visiting again , it’s a shame because I love the food at this place .

Nonna Rosa is my favourite Italian restaurant in Uxbridge. Have tried pretty much all of their pasta dishes and they never disappoint. The food is delicious and the service great!

Both myself and my husband visit Nonna Rosa as a treat. I am only able to eat with one hand due to a sprained wrist. I asked a longstanding member of staff if it would be possible for the duck to be cut into slices to make it easier for me to eat my meal. He replied it would not be an issue, which I appreciated. My husband had the steak medallions which was delicious. I was disappointed by the small piece of lemoncello cheesecake for my dessert ss it wasn't good value for money and the portion used to be more generous. The food is very good and the staff are welcoming.

First time eating here, was a wednesday evening so not too busy, but food was great, decent sized portions and staff really friendly. A little over £100 for a family of 4, starters, mains and drinks so pricing not bad either. Will be back

Pretty cramped restaurant with very intimate seating. You can hear the conversations of those next to you. The food wasn't great and lacked a lot of flavour and the tiramasu too. Overall an ok resturant but won't be visiting again.

I went with my friend. We booked a table. I felt the food was ok but I had ordered a salad with avocado. It wasn't what was delivered but was quickly put right. I'd say there was 3/4 lettuce on the plate and a 1/4 of advacado. I felt ripped off and disappointed. They sat 2 other guests in an almost empty midweek dining area right next to us which made our private conversation much less relaxed. Overpriced and not as I remember it to be here. I won't be back anytime soon unless you up your game on the menu /food and prices. Sad to say there are other places much more competitive and I think none rosa rely on their loyal regulars and are complacent. Sorry

We went for dinner they charged £12 for a prawn and avocado salad with Marie rose sauce there were only about 7 prawns in it small half avocado no bread or anything very disappointing and not worth the money. Main course was great but just as we were going to eat it we were plunged in to darkness could not see to eat so they could sing happy birthday to another table which is a nice thing to do but think about your other customers as well. This happened twice. The waitresses attitudes were not great felt like a bit of an inconvenience to them .Was offered a free dessert as mentioned about the starter which was good, but when I came to pay the bill the rude attitude of staff was back because questions were asked and when asked them to take the discreanary service charge of the bill as we did not think the service was worth it the waitress asked why and questioned me clearly thought we should pay it and does not realise its up to the customer and not the staff. Asked to speak to manager she said she was for upstairs and then said she would go get him, never arrived and as we went down the stairs the waitress was talking and moaning to another one about us it was very clear because she looked up and shut up straight away. Manager was spoken to and paid bill with him. He apologised and said he would retrain staff, will that be enough they clearly think they are way to good already when they are not. The manager was nice and will add we have been before and the staff have been excellent, but where have they gone.

A beautiful evening to celebrate my cousin’s birthday! The food, as usual was amazing and would highly recommend the aubergine parmigiana - be warned it is a large and hearty portion for a starter so makes it ideal for sharing! All the staff, but especially Jamie and the Head Waiter, are extremely friendly and knowledgeable of their ingredients and wines! We had a lovely grown up evening in an extremely homely and warm environment- bellissimo!

Went for the set menu and the food was unreal table service was brilliant. And being able to take the bottle of wine home when driving was really good. Will be back. 👍

Another great night at Nonna Rosa, always so looked after. A lovely warm welcome from Vincenzo on arrival, and my friends and I were looked after so well. Needless to say, the wine was very good, full-bodied and well priced, the steaks and mussels juicy and plump, portions perfect! My friends hadn't visited Nona Rosa for around 10 years. They'll be back apparently! Thank you team NR!

Have been here a few times and enjoy the lovely atmosphere (enough hustle and bustle to be lively but still easily able to hear our conversation whilst not overhearing other tables). Great food with lots of taste and generous portions. Cocktails were very much enjoyed. A starter, main course and 2 alcoholic drinks each cost £45 per person (some cocktails using there 2-4-1 offer). Would recommend this restaurant.

I’ve been here once before and the food doesn’t disappoint. We had the mozzarella dough balls for starters (huge!) and then pizza for our mains. We had to take away the pizza as the portion sizes are generous. Not complaining though ☺️. We were well looked after by the staff. Lovely meal and a lovely restaurant.

As soon as you walk in the door you become a part of the family. Superb customer service all delivered with a smile and the knowledge of every product on the menu. It was our first time at Nonna Rosa but definitely not our last!! We have already spread the word of the best Italian restaurant in the Uxbridge area to others. Hopefully the restaurant will continue to flourish and if you visit you will not be disappointed. My wife had Lasagne and she claimed it was the best one she had ever tasted. Bold claim but after visiting numerous other Italian restaurants can only be true.. Please try this restaurant you will not be disappointed 5 stars all the way

I felt like my gluten free pizza was made from a frozen base and barely had any sauce… I ate it because I was hungry but one of the more disappointing pizza I’ve had in years

Real Italian Restaurant, great selection of dishes in a atmospheric restaurant with character. The staff make it what it is, recommending, serving and doing the basics right....which am afraid many other restaurants can't.

Have been twice to Nonna Rosa's in the last 2 months, once for my wifes birthday just the 2 of us and once as a family of 5. On both occassions the atmosphere, staff, quality of food and price were excellent and we were sat next to a woodburner with burning logs which was really nice. They had a regular menu and daily specials for food. Kids menu was £8 for a meal and a free scoop of icecream. Would highly recommend for family or couples.

Had my birthday meal with my partner. Excellent food, friendly service and great atmosphere. Overall fantastic and I recommend this place! I will return to this for sure.

We had a fantastic experience this evening at Nonna Rosa. James was really welcoming, friendly, and looked after us well. The pizzas and pannacotta that we had were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend, and we will be returning!

Food was nice however we all said that the portions were very small and even though we had 3 courses we were still hungry after, for this reason I wouldn’t go back again. The staff were very friendly and provided a great service.

We had our staff xmas meal at Nonna Rossa. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with a choice of excellent dishes but the star of the show was Vincenzo who was looked after our large group extremely well.

Have been a reapeat customer at Nonna Rosa for years. Whilst the service can be a little slow at times when very busy and the atmosphere is sometimes too noisy for my liking, overall it is an excellent restaraunt with great pizza, pasta and entrees and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. It is one of our favourite restaurants and our favourite Italian. The hand filled ravioli is especially good, as is the sea bass, the stuffed mushrooms and the calamari. The pizza is one of the best we've had outside of Italy, only rivalled by Melisi in Ruislip. If you want great food and a good atmosphere you will find it at Nonna Rosa. Take-away is just as good, the food is well packaged and always the same high quality.

Thw serving staff seem to have changed since i was last here. It now has more of a family feel. The menu remains unchanged. Nonna Rosa does the most reliable steak. I highly recommend their fillet Rossini and their filet pepe. Often, steak can be hit or miss, but not at Nonna Rosa. Aside from that, they are a quality Italian restaurant. The decor is traditional and there is a high level of cleanliness

First time coming here with my friend and i have loved the atmosphere and the staff are lovely and the food is great and fresh.

Menu a bit dull, and not much choice. Dessert menu was poor, at least 2 desserts had alcohol in, so that put us off. Most of our family had a good meal, our other member had a horrible chicken dish with cheese and ham, very greasy. We have been going there for many years and the menu could do with updating with some more interesting choices. The decor is so drab, a bit dark and luckily for us it was not noisy like it usually is. Our booking was for a birthday and this was mentioned, but not acknowledged by staff. Not even a complimentary shot of limoncello was offered.

Low quality produce. Chef that does not like food. Could not wait to get out of there.

There was an elderly gentleman who greeted us at the door and seated us, and made us feel welcome. He served us the whole evening and went above and beyond to make sure that our needs was met and we was happy. He was extremely helpful, polite, attentive and all round amazing asset to your business. Because of him and the amazing food, I will be back here for sure!

Lovely Italian just off the high street. Pasta was amazing and staff made you feel like you were part of the family.

We celebrated my daughter’s 25th birthday at Nonarosa and it was a lovely experience.This was my second time dining here and once again, everything was exceptional. The food was incredibly authentic, bursting with flavour’s that truly transported us. All four of us loved every dish we ordered. The staff were warm, welcoming and went out of their way to make our evening special. A particularly lovely touch was when they turned off the lights for the birthday cake presentation, with the entire restaurant joining in to sing, a memorable moment (even if my daughter might say otherwise !

The host was the nicest person there, he was sweet and incredibly understanding. The food comes in huge portions and amazing prices - highly highly recommend. Will be going back again for my birthday

Visited on a Monday evening. Nice setting and atmosphere. Staff very attentive and know their menus well. Three of the four of us dining had dietary requirements and everything was explained clearly and we were well catered for with lots of choice. Food was fantastic. Pizza, gluten free pizza and pasta all tasted very authentic Italian. Looking forwards to returning and would highly recommend.

False advertising. Some of the cocktails on the menu are buy one get one free on a Saturday but when you order them, you just get what you paid for. Call the restaurant and they wouldn’t do anything about it.

What a fantastic restaurant! We went to celebrate my brother’s 50th birthday and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

Lovely food. The manager, who I remember from. My evenings next door, was knowledgeable for all of the menu. The new waitress was being trained and was great. Service was a tad slow but overall the food made up for it. Food was a plenty. It was packed on a Tuesday night in October, so book ahead!

Nice cosy place serving amazing Italian food. Due to located on high street there is no parking however after 6:30 there are no restrictions ro park. If you struggle to get space you can use paid parking at nearby shopping centre.

Overall, Nonna Rosa delivered an outstanding dining experience with delicious food, attentive service, Especially from the exemplary Vincenzo an amazing guy! A cozy atmosphere. I would highly recommend it for a date night or a special celebration.

What a quaint little place. In all the years I lived in the Hillingdon area, I never visited until now! First impression as I walked in.......beautiful little rustic place. Very spacious inside with a rooftop terrace. The food was amazing. The main meal was a good size portion, but we added mozzerella dough balls with it. These were good for sharing. Staff are friendly and very polite, happy to box up any leftovers. Loved this place, we will be visiting again, need to try a dessert!

Absolutely perfect experience. I made the mistake of ordering a filling starter (Aubergine Parmigiana), which was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, but I knew that if I finished it, I’d never have room for the slow cooked pork belly with borlotti beans that were to follow. Half my starter was boxed before the pork arrived and the pork was equally delicious. Staff were unobtrusive but appeared like magic if I even thought I needed them and the restaurant is bustling without being overcrowded. And all this on a Monday evening. I shall be back.

Vincento and his team gave excellent service tonight. We received lovely greetings on arrival and were immediately taken to our reserved table. It was our waitresses first week working there and she was friendly and polite, plus extra patient with us whilst ordering. Food was great and came out rapid and hot! Lovely experience, will definitely be returning soon!

This for me is the best restaurant in Uxbridge and we come here often. Staff are lovely and the food is spot on and always really high standard. We always feel so looked after here and it has a great atmosphere. If you want first class Italian food - this is the place to come.

25th Wedding Anniversary and thought we should “keep it local” and go to Nonna Rosa. Glad we did : food was so tasty / atmosphere was buzzing (even midweek) / Harriet our waitress was brilliant - knowledgeable on menu items, friendly, kind to our shy son and generally great ambassador for the restaurant. We will most definitely be back for more !

The starter, Aubergine parmigiana was cold in the middle despite the bowl being very hot. The seafood linguine main, the linguine was overcooked and the small amount of seafood was just boiled, not cooked in garlic or anything so lakes flavour. Over use of tomatoes in all dishes. Service charge was not worthy.

Our waiter Emily is soo funny and attentive, she made our experience even better! The food was definitely handmade and soo delicious, prices are affordable, and very lovely sicilian wine. We started with lovely parmigiana, king prawns, burrata and for mains we had nice chiken mushroom pasta and amazing lasagne!! Gret experience too bad we live in Acton and it's quite far for us to come, but very lovely place and atmosphere, I think they just have to put the music a bit louder!!

I decided to place an order based on the good reviews. While I understand that the quality of home delivery can sometimes differ from dining at the restaurant, I was quite disappointed with the food I received. The garlic bread and pizza were extremely hard and dry, though still somewhat edible. Unfortunately, the gnocchi ended up in the bin. It was a combination of gnocchi, overcooked broccoli, peas, and canned tomatoes that hadn’t been properly prepared. It felt as though the ingredients were just thrown together without any care or seasoning. Regrettably, I won’t be ordering from here again.

The food is amazing as always and the server was very friendly and made a few jokes which made the experience even better. Calamari Fritti is good and the Rissoto is great.

Came in as a party of 15 for our mums birthday, what a wonderful experience from start to finish, cannot fault anything, we booked late due to a change of plan last minute but was still all catered for without question, our waitress Harriet was absolutely amazing, she was rush off her feet all evening yet still went above and beyond for us! Thankyou for all your hard work Harriet it didn't go unnoticed! Food was lovely great restraunt and the food was 10/10! Best Italian restraunt around. Thankyou

Great selection of vegan offerings. The atmosphere was busy but still quiet enough to have a comfortable conversation at our table. The servers were very attentive, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

I choose an Italian restaurant because of my confidence in the Italian restaurant, both in terms of food quality and service attitude. From the feeling of stepping into this restaurant, I already know their situation, because everyone I see is always smiling. As a result, I was satisfied with the food, so I asked him to introduce three more Italian desserts!

The food is amazing, however, if you want to dine in a sauna, this is the place. It's a shame you can't afford air conditioning in such a lovely setting.

Luogo alla estrema periferia ovest di Londra dall' aspetto British,ma con proprietario Italiano.Rispetto ai cibi prettamente speziati della cucina del Regno Unito,qui i sapori delle pietanze sono saggiamente distribuiti.Consumato un piatto unico con riso agli asparagi e verdure varie ,su cui un eccellente filetto di salmone faceva la sua bella figura.Birra alla spina inglese ( anche se vanno per la maggiore i nostri marchi piu' rinomati, a cominciare da Ichnusa ) e pane come sempre a parte, ma morbido e condito con olio.Atmosfere d' epoca in un luogo accattivante,con personale gentile ed affabile.Prezzi per lo standard Inglese, nella media.Se soggiornate ad Uxbridge,non mancatelo.

Had a fabulous lunch with colleagues who had travelled from all over the uk. The service was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble and they were able to meet the dietary needs of all the guests. I highly recommend the sea bass, the best authentic Italian I’ve had in years.
