Carluccio’s - London, Marriott Heathrow in Hillingdon

If comparing to an actual restaurant, lower your expectations. No care goes into the food they serve. It's edible, passable, but novice cook could make it better themselves.

After my recent review, unfortunately things went a little bit down. The good stuff: Duck conft and seafood linguine didn't disappoint at all. The duck whole leg was cooked really good and meet was tender a slides off the bones. Seafood linguine was good selection of muscles, prawns and squid with balanced spiciness. Their chocolate fondant was really good with nicely warm oozing chocolate in the middle. The not so good: Duck confir skin was not crisp at all. Recotta and spinach ravioli was bland Regatoni with pene for kids arrived with penne They didn't have hazelnut espresso martini Focaccia with garlic butter was not focaccia at all, ore like sliced bread with butter. Service was on the slow side and staff were not very attentive at times. Overall, still recommend but don't get recotta with Spanish ravioli or focaccia

Wasn't expecting a lot since it's hotel food. But it was wonderful, and the serves was outstanding.

Absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel restaurant. The service provided by Julian, Haydn, Myla, Parhajeet, Patryza, has been brilliant!! The food experience has been great too...this has all helped enjoy the stay here at London Heathrow Marriott...special mention of Parhajeet and Myla for super service on multiple occasions. Having stayed at this Marriot hotel twice now in the last 4 weeks I can say hand on heart how attentive all of the staff are. Faizah and Patrjcya in the restaurant were phenomenal even arranging for Sea Bass to be on the buffet menu for me. Absolutely top dollar. Thank you all

Standra, kala and chef Homi are amazing! They worked super hard in the kitchen for me and did a great job! They are a great team who will prepare and provide you with their best meals and service. They really bend over backwards to make sure you get the best meals.

As part of the hotel, this restaurant is really great! I had breakfast here during my stay and enjoyed the omelette. I ordered sides of sausage, guacamole, and potatoes and they were all very tasty. My server Myla was awesome and made sure I was always taken care of. Thanks!

Wow! It was such an amazing experience! We were welcomed by friendly Antonio who served us drinks and throughout the meal we were looked after by Kala who was very pleasant and approachable. The meal was very tasty.Thank you to chef Konrad who prepared perfectly cooked ribeye steak, and from prawns and calamari to start with, through main course and desert it was beautifully enjoyable. Overall I highly recommend to visit Carluccio as it’s unforgettable experience.

Received a brilliant service off all the staff. All the staff were very friendly. The main staff that was so helpful and made the experience so well worth it was mannish we were so grateful for her service. We’ll definitely be dining again.

I had come for lunch with my friends and I really enjoyed the food and the service, also not forgetting the Amazing Cocktails made by Velfern.

What amazing food!! The sea bass was perfect, the green salad was delicious, and the pistachio ice cream was divine!! One of the best hotel restaurants we have eaten at, and we have traveled a great deal. And they have a gluten-free menu as well! We highly recommend this restaurant!!

As a family, we love Carluccio’s at Marriott Heathrow - the food is always delicious, the ambience is gorgeous and the staff overall are welcoming, really friendly and fantastic customer service. We have been to most of the restaurants on bath road and the only place we keep going back to is Carluccio’s at Marriott Heathrow because of have much we love it. We 100% recommended this place!!

Large version of Carrlucios near Heathrow airport located in the Marriott. Service was really good and the food was consistent.

The service was great and we were being looked after by Abhijeet who was amazing and so tentative. It was my sons birthday dinner and we all enjoyed the food and the service. Definitely would recommend.

Spagetti carbonara... I was very surprised by this carbonara. Normally at a restaurant you can't feel the taste of pecorino and the guanciale is replaced by bacon or panchetta but this carbonara had the right taste and the amazing guanciale (explodes with juices in your mouth). One of the best spaghetti carbonara I ever had, almost as good as my own😂

Arrived late after a delayed flight and the team made sure we were looked after, the food and service was top level such a great meal

Very disappointing meal tonight. Our food sat on the server for around 20 minutes before the waiter finally brought it over, so not surprisingly I sent it back as it was luke warm. The chef remade the whole meal but I wouldn't return there. It wasn't great second time around, the steak was over done and club sandwich didn't have much going for it either. £90 I won't get back

Not bad for a hotel restaurant and per usual for that and the UK, quite expensive.

Minus 2 stars for extremely expensive drinks that milk expense accounts, otherwise decent instance of the genre, with some awkwardness about the layout of spaces within the cavernous hotel.

Always seems to be a translation issue with staff. Food pricey but great quality.

The waitress who served us was so polite and a credit to her company. My family wish her success on one day becoming a manager ...shame the menu was limited for non halal eaters ...there should be both aviable for all clients.

We love coffee and cakes at carluccio’s . We had many times at Leicester before, this is first time we visited this place. They have both take away and restaurant inside Marriott. Service was really good, staff were friendly and plenty of seating area. Quickly served us. We went around 3pm, very few people were there. Food and drinks were really tasty. We were expecting more quantity, otherwise it was really great experience. Marriott car parking available. It’s airport area, we only could see paid parking areas.

As always great food! Super Italian and authentic food. Carluccio has set the trend for authentic food and long may it continue. In his life on earth Carluccio has left a legacy and his hallmark in creating the food he loved for others to enjoy long after he left us. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace. They advertise brunch till 2pm. But the tell you that its 15 min to close bkfast. Felt a little rushed

Good local Italian restaurant. Feel like the mozzarella and tomato salad should have marinated tomatoes like the bruscheta. Overall good quality food in a lovely setting.

Nice and polite staff. Delicious menu. Many vegetarian and vegan options. Vegetarian breakfast and pizza highly recommended.

Booking was not noted in booking diary, requests not met. Sea bass was over fried and watery. Incorrect second main was brought out. Charged for incorrect meal brought out. Correct main chicken was extremely dry and a cold sauce was given in an attempt to save it. Drinks were extremely average. 12.5% Service charge was automatically added to the bill meaning you had to manually calculate the cost. Servers were okay but did not take order correctly and didn’t understand when I asked for a celebratory/candle/shot to be brought out. Nice atmosphere but food and service do not match.

Staff seems so unhappy. The food was okay, but expensive for the fact it’s not the best. They didn’t have anything off their menu available even though they hand them out. They were quick to get the food out but not to check if the order was right

Been here lots of times, food very acceptable but today we had the BEST waitress, Standa, beyond efficient and so much fun. Ask to be at her table!!!!!

We stayed at a different hotel, but opted to dine at Carluccio’s. The dinner was excellent, and the service from Constancio was even better. He was respectful and attentive. We will definitely dine at Carluccio’s again.

I have presently been sat waiting for 15 mins no drinks offered never mind food. There are 4 members of staff near me cleaning tables etc… the restaurant is also empty. About to leave as shocking…

This is inside a Marriott hotel and the ambience is not the best. However, the Carlucccios experience was exactly as expected and food was perfect.

I often come to Carluccio’s (and it is one of the main reason I choose to stay at this Marriott). The food is very good , pretty diverse , very nice lights, and very nice service. Special thanks to Constancio who has been our waiter multiple times , always efficient and nice.

We stayed at the London Heathrow Marriot Hotel to be close to the airport for our departure the next morning. We had dinner at Carluccio’s the food was great and the service was even better. We were immediately welcomed and seated. Our waitress was Faizia, she was engaging, made us feel very welcome and was attentive throughout the evening. She made our evening very enjoyable.

Excellent pasta dishes and the English breakfast was tasty as well. Everything was beautifully presented and the service was very attentive & professional. If you’re staying in the Marriott for a layover, there’s no reason to eat anywhere else.

This evening, my parents and I called in for a meal before a show in Hayes. My parents had fish and chips, and they told me it was very tasty. I had the seafood linguine it was also very tasty and fresh. The service was second to none. I would recommend anyone in the area to visit you don't need to stay at the marriott to use the hotel. Parking costs £7 for 2 hours

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner experience at Carlucci's last Friday night, September 22, 2023. Our server Mangnishi (spelling?) was fabulous. Very attentive and did a great job with service. One of the best dining experiences we have ever had LHR. We will definitely come back to Carlucci's to eat again because of her.

Had a lovely meal with my husband and daughter. We had starters, main and dessert and everything was delicious. Service was impeachable - we were served by Rampunik Shah who was extremely friendly and professional.

Slow uninterested waiting staff. Poor English skills. Some of them are barely understandable. Bland food. Not super expensive but definitely not an experience to repeat.

We celebrated our dad’s 70th birthday at Carluccio’s and overall he loved the food service and the friendly Standa which made the evening more enjoyable. Thank you again for another fun redeemable family get together.

Bland food without flavor, soggy onion rings, bruschetta was far from the real thing and the pasta we fixed at the table with olive oil, salt and pepper. The Aranccini were good.

The food was good as Standard, what made the difference was the exceptional world class customer service performed by Miss Standa who certainly knows how to create those unforgettable moments and add a little extra care almost like she reads people mind. What ever I needed was happening without me even asking Miss Standa it felt magical! I live far from Carluccios and I am not a usual customer but surely I will never forget these moments of extra care I received and if you ever around Heathrow consider yourself lucky to be served by Standa!

Visited just yesterday with my fellow collegeue for dinner.Pretty impressive I can assure you the service was exceptional from all the team members especially because they all gave each table attention even though it was really busy.Special thanks to Ms.Standa who took care of us and oh dear she is such a sweetheart.Thank you Standa for the beautiful recommendations.Prices are also quite okay nothing overpriced and the portions are decent too.A definite recommendation.See you soon Carluccio.

Great food , the sea bass was lovely. The service at the bar was great but in the restaurant absolutely shocking!!!! The staff member couldn't have been any less interested in serving us, or being at work! The restaurant was very quiet, very few tables, and we still had to try and get her attention to order things. She was more interested in regularly checking her watch. Shame because other than that it would have been a great experience.

It’s a busy restaurant in the Marriott hotel so filled with air line staff and tourists but great for a casual meal. The quality of the food was good and great service overall from the staff.

Rampunit was so lovely, warm and inviting. He had a big smile on his face the whole time and was so kind and accommodating. He made dinner such a wonderful experience!

Very exquisite and very fresh ingredients. I ordered the burger and my husband ordered a pizza. It was absolutely delicious. Also, our waiter Rampunit was very attentive, cordial and efficient. It was an amazing experience.

For an airport hotel restaurant it's good!

Looking at the menu we were both excited as some great combinations. Normally being a steak man I thought I would try something different and went with the antipasti as a starter and asked for no artichoke. Starters came and guess they didn't get the message as artichoke was non the plate. They quickly changed and to be fair it was a great starter. My other half said the calamari was a little over done but by the by. Out come our mains and my partner had a fabulous chicken and pesto risotto which was great full of flavour and taste. I had the chicken milanese which had baby gem lettuce rocket breaded chicken and rosemary and garlic potatoes. Well that is were it stops to the point I actually asked for the menu to check I ordered the correct thing. The slow roasted tomatoes were stone cold from the fridge, the salad had dressing in the bottom and rocket and 1 yes just 1 leaf of babyleaf. My potatoes had no rosemary and no garlic just poorly fried. Chicken was OK but very much on the dry side. Avoid this dish seems as though very good at pasta but that is it.

We were a table of 4 for an impromptu dinner after the BA flight cancellations, and had a wonderful evening. From arrival, the hostess was friendly and sat us to our table, then the waiter (a Nepalese man called Rampunit) was straight by our table...

Great service but disappointed with the quality of the food. The lasagna was dry and had to be returned. Not up to the normal Carluccio's standard.

Enjoyed bruschetta and caprese salad. Very tasty. Would have been good to have been offered olive oil and balsamic but other than that enjoyed it.

We had dinner with business colleagues. The service was fast and attentive. The food was good specially the starters and the main courses. Dessert options were limited.

Great service by Ranpunik Shah, restaurant was very busy but he kept his eyes on our service progress. Goats salad was simply divine and kids loved the mozarela pizza followed by Italians ice cream. Thank you

Worth booking prior to arriving... Great kids menu, disappointed that the starter wasn't more substantial, 3 sticks of cucumber and 3 x half breadsticks... pizza's would also be better served on wood platters...
