Went on a bank holiday. Decided to have a date night and enjoy a meal out. Food was not too bad at all. Lovely fresh pasta and great veal. Service was very slow and somewhat inattentive, but the biggest issue was the noise. The restaurant wasn’t packed, but I could not hear my partner on the other side of a table. No soft furnishings so the sound just bounces around. I Would not recommend for a date night where you actually want to speak to your partner. If you’re not bothered about talking to your partner then it’s perfect.

Looking for somewhere to have a coffee and cake and came across this caffe, unless you found the location you would miss this little gem, friendly welcoming staff who would tell what each of the cakes/pastries were. Coffee was really tasty, pastry was very nice. If we came back to the area we would definitely come here again.

I had a wonderful experience at Ida, a cozy Italian restaurant near Queen's Park. The fresh pasta is made in-house every day and it's truly exceptional. We ordered the ravioli di zucca e prosciutto and spaghetti with anchovies and olives, both of which were delicious and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is intimate and charming, with candlelight and artwork adorning the walls. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, and the staff were happy to guide us through the menu. What I loved most was the personal touch - it's clear that the owners, Avi and Simonetta, put their heart and soul into the restaurant. I highly recommend Ida to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting. We'll definitely be back!

I Visited Italia Uno for the first time and thought it was fantastic. Proper old school Italian café. No thrills, just a good place to get a bit of lunch and sip a coffee. I get that some people want a bit more from an Italian, probably the same folk who've never been to Italy and think all cafés and restaurants there are sophisticated and elegant. This is real. The Pasta and Panini were great and the Torta de Nonna was just as good as I've had in Italy. The food and coffee in my pictures came to little over £16. I'll be back
