Wonderful food, service and ambience. Our waiter Fenzi knew the menu extremely well and gave outstanding service. This restaurant consistently delivers well - I’ve eaten here a few times and every time has been excellent. Recommended.

Dimitiri was our server tonight and he was very attentive. Food was great would recommend!!

I asked for a flower or something romantic for our anniversary, I believe Dimitri went the extra mile and crafted flowers for us! The food was perfect, I would definitely be back For two mains, a starter and a side came to £56 which for two people in an Italian restaurant is very reasonable

Booked for a friends birthday. They were 17 guests and we all received a complimentary drink on arrival. we all enjoyed our starters and main course, all delicious. The atmosphere was warm and cosy. We were served by Daniel who was very attentive and informative as was the rest of the staff. Nothing seemed to much trouble.

Sat down at ten past six and ordered at quarter past making clear we needed to be done by 7 as we had an appointment. To help with this we kept the order simple and ordered a plain starter and simple pasta dishes, and were assured we would be fine. Starter came quite quick, but at 6.45 after minimal attention I got up to ask the manager what was going on. Eventually got served at 6.50, food really hot and struggled to eat half in the time available. The place wasn't even busy. Food was OK, experience not. Difficult to recommend the place after that experience.

Had a fantastic time at Ginos waitress welcomed us with a fantastic manner friendly. The waiter who served us was very nice made us feel special. The waiter asked if it was a special occasion I said yes my birthday then he came back with a glass of bubbly for me and my partner. Very nice touch. Theme decor of the restaurant was amazing and relaxing. I ordered a cocktail which taste amazing and looked gorgeous too. The food came out hot and vey tasty. The service from the staff was great. Had no complaints at all everything was prefect. Enjoyed our evening at Ginos will definitely recommend this restaurant. Thankyou for a lovely evening.

Fabulous meal and service, we couldn’t fault a thing! We stayed at the hotel and decided to try the restaurant, it certainly didn’t disappoint and the prices were really reasonable. We were well looked after by Fenzi, what a lovely guy and a credit to the restaurant. Would highly recommend!

What a fantastic restaurant, I would urge anyone visiting Leeds to make a beeline. The menu is amazing, the food was out of this world and the waiters and waitresses were very professional, particularly Daniele Fenzi who's knowledge of the dishes was both surprising and impressive.

The team here are brilliant. So helpful and accommodating. They really go the extra mile and are very friendly. I ate here two days running while visiting my father in hospital and staying at the hotel. Just wanted to say thank you for being so kind to us and especially my elderly mother.

Last minute celebration today, Fenzi our waiter was absolutely amazing, friendly, polite, attentive and funny. A real credit to the company, thank you for making it special. Oh and obviously the food was exquisite 💯

Lovely atmosphere but food was rubbish, pasta was cold and tastless. Everything was really expensive to boot. Our waiter was attentive but needed a spray of Lynx. Probably wouldn't try again with all the options available in Leeds.

I've been to a lot of restaurants around the world and I've never had a more pleasant experience with a waiter than with Fenzi, he was polite, extremely attentive and very pleasant to talk to. Will definitely be dining here again and I hope to be waited by him again. 10/10.

I can for my girlfriend's birthday just the two of us. We shared the Tomato Bruschetta and the Arancine al Ragù which were both made from scratch and both exceptional, perfect portion sizes for an appetiser. For mains I had the prawn ravioli which were the best I've had in a long time and my girlfriend couldn't stop praising the quality of the homemade pizza and toppings. The service was also great. A special shout-out to Faith and Dimitri who looked after us and Lupe who came and wowed us with a happy birthday cheesecake! Overall a fantastic evening and we can't wait to return.

The most exquisite evening. Earlier in the day my partner and I had got engaged, so this was a celebratory dinner. We opted for the 3-course set menu, which had a lovely range. The complimentary alcoholic drinks are a lovely touch and our waiter was very accommodating when my fiancé asked if she could substitute it for something non-alcoholic as she was pregnant. Dimitri, our waiter was so lovely and congratulated us both on our recent engagement and our pregnancy. The food was to die for. Proper Italian food done well. I have eaten so much 'Italian food' from other places and it never seems to hit the mark. This however, most certainly did. Authentic in taste and appearance. From the starter to dessert, every mouthful hit the spot! They also left quite a nice period of time between each course. Enough time to digest, talk and look forward to what was to come. We didn't feel rushed and it was nice to actually spend a nice amount of time out. We were there nearly 2 hours, though it really didn't feel like it. Dimitri, our server, was absolutely class! His Italian passion shone through and he was charismatic, charming and just all round helpful. As previously mentioned, he was so excited and complimentary of both our engagemnt and our pregnancy, which made the whole experience so much more special. He even came over and made my partner a rose out of tissue. And I'll tell you, it looked bloody good!! Dimitri is an absolute assett to Gino's brand. Every restaurant needs a Dimitri. The lady, I didn't catch her name, who welcomed us when we arrived was equally as lovely. She set the standard high, which everyone else who interacted with us continued. Finally... the biggest thank you to the gentleman, who I believe was the General Manager, who heard about our engagement and came over in the most charming, friendly and Italian way he could have. From the kindest complimentary drinks, to him pulling up a chair and showing a genuine interest in our engagemnt, other news and us as a couple. I have never received service quite like this and both of us will remember this fondly. Grazzi amico for the extra touch. From both of us, thank you for one of the most memorable meals we've ever had and some of the best food.

We stayed at the Marriott Leeds and breakfast is at Gino’s restaurant attached. For £17 we expected a good experience but it was terrible. The restaurant was a 1/3rd full and it was c9am but when we went to the buffet there was no egg station which is odd but then we realised if you can locate a waiter you can order, when we found someone to ask it was as if we were putting them out taking the order. Then we went back to the buffet where there was no large plates, no bacon, only a few mushrooms left that were becoming dry and beans that had started to congeal. There was also no fresh bread and then our eggs (2 fried) took 15 minutes to arrive, one of the yolks was bust and they were terribly greasy. We made note to the maitre de and he stated it was busy and that was all. No apologies. We straight away left and asked for breakfast the following day to be cancelled. My advice would be to go to McDonald’s across the road for better food and service. Will never eat here again.

Came here last night, food was gorgeous, my Spicy Margherita was delicious. Atmosphere was spot on. Giuseppe was adorable and hilarious. All the staff were so friendly and professional.

Our experience was made by our charming waiter Dimitri! He was warm, attentive and professional with a lot of knowledge and passion regarding the menu. He even made our daughters’ day by creating roses out of serviettes! Lovely food, the tiramisu was outstanding.

As always, the food was delicious and the staff very professional and welcoming - especially our waiter Dimitri, he never disappoints . :)

Stopped off for a quick bite to eat with a friend one lunchtime. Dimitri made us feel very welcome and he and his staff made sure it dining experience was very pleasurable. The food was lovely and service excellent as mentioned. Will definitely go for a full course evening meal in the near future.

Went last night for my birthday, the food and atmophere was lovely. Cannot fault the service, especially from our waiter Fenzi (he was brilliant). Can't wait to come back next time we're in leeds.

This is a very tricky review to write There was something up Not with the cocktails, food, wine or perception of the bar staff, which was frankly brilliant to the point of psychic...I now love a Negroni The waiting staff were also on it A minor issue with our food was also immediately dealt with Whatever was going on was dealt with simply brilliantly by the Manager and just so he knows...if I'm back in town I'll come again In summary if you're in Leeds try this place

Breakfast service is inconsistent and poor quality for vegans. I got told that I couldn’t have a cappuccino with oat milk but only by the manager - two days on the run. The third time he decided he could give me one but only if I paid £5. The rest of the staff were happy to get one without question or charge. Lack of choices for vegans. I take my own breakfast now but pay £25 to sit in the restaurant and use the toaster. There is a lack of bananas every day. Ive stayed 7 times in 3 weeks. The only exception to the service is Matthew. Nothing is ever too much and he’s super helpful and friendly. Dinner is hit and miss. Pizza was soggy and tasteless but the parmigiana was divine (although not hot). Bread board was yummy. Wine is good Dinner service again inconsistent. Staff trained differently and not aligned with hotel billing.

Absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs. Food was poor. The service was shocking.It was onee of the worst meals I've ever had. It was a shame as I did visit a year ago, and the food was good then. Rapidly gone downhill since then.

Visited for dinner one evening and was sadly disappointed. The service was good, the restaurant vibe was good, but the food didn't live up to expectations. Whilst it looked really nice and well presented, the lasagne tasted very average. Ordered some roast potatoes on the side - terrible. Lacked crunchiness and flavour. Not great.

As rated by the 5 stars I could not fault anything from the welcome to the leaving. The atmosphere at 3pm was just right, not too loud, quiet background music, not very full but it is a large restaurant ( it not sure Id like it too full as I expect it would be too noisy) We had the lunch menu 3 courses for £30 inc a free drink, followed by coffee and extra cocktails at the lovely bar before leaving. The bill was £90 for 2 inc service Lovely food and good portions. Great staff and service throughout. Leeds is already blessed with great restaurants but this is the one I go back too.

I’m staying in the Marriott here and I usually don’t solicit the hotel bars however this one is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The service is exceptional and the bar staff extremely friendly. Faith helped me find a seat when there were none. She wasn’t even a bartender but I appreciated her extra concern. The bartenders made delicious cocktails. Megan makes a mean White Russian. I will definitely be back tomorrow for another round!

Such lovely service, Claudio and Daniel were so attentive and delivered on all of our requests. Food was delicious and the restaurant had such a cosy, comfortable atmosphere. Got a nice table outside and ordered some starters and the truffle pasta. They used spaghetti rather than fettuccine so it didn't hold the sauce half as well and unfortunately the dish was quite bland, could have done with more cheese. The service wasn't great as they seemed to forget they had tables on the outside and after a long wait we went to the reception requesting a bill a disgruntled looking employee sent us back to the table rather impolitely as if we'd inconvenienced him. In short: not impressed by the staff and food but the table was nice!

I've been at Gino on Saturday for my girlfriends birthday and everything was fab! Especially Claudio who looked after us and was very attentive.

food was so quick, got it nine minutes after ordering! faith was our main waitress who looked after us. she was always on top of asking if we wanted more drinks and helped us pick out a meal when unsure what to have. definitely recommend!!

We were greeted by friendly-ish staff, except for a short blond women who wanted us to take a table at the back of the restaurant where no one else was sat! This review could have been 1 star, however Claudio turned that around and gave us excellent service. The food was good but slightly pricy for a conservative portion.

Good food and generous portions in a quiet, relaxing setting. We were able to have a lovely family dinner. Daniel was very helpful which made it a great experience.

Family dinner, for 3 adults and 3 children. Everything was great . Good menu , it was difficult to decide - but everything we ordered was fresh, well presented and delicious . The restaurant was bust but had a good buzz and ambience . The staff were friendly . Our waiter was Fenzi, he was knowledgeable when we asked questions about the menu and so good with the children and was attentive throughout the meal.

Fenzi and team were awesome. I was able to take as much time as I needed. Service was great. Food and ambience impeccable.

I love this place and have been a few times. Wow! Stylish restaurant and bar area. Food is delicious. Service, specifically the waiting staff, has customer service just right; timely and attentive. It is one of the few dining establishments which knows how to address and treat a customer properly. Something which is sorely lacking in most restaurants these days. I was saddened, however, to see that, since our last visit, it has joined the ranks of restaurants pre-adding the 12.5% service tip on to the bill. I absolutely do not agree with this. Why should a tip be a 'percentage' of the bill? Why should a 'tip' cost more just for ordering a more expensive dish? The 'service' to deliver a plate is no more costly than the service to deliver a cheaper one. Plus, why should a customer have to be put in the position to ask for the tip to be removed? It completely changes the dining-out experience. Surely the amount of the tip should be at the discretion of the customer to leave on the table, dependent upon their experience for that particular visit. It is a shame, and it is making me dine out less and less. One of the attractive things about this place was that it did not automatically include this on the bill.....but now it does.

The food was very good and the service was great. Our server Enzo was very friendly and we had great conversation with him.

Had a lovely dinner with a colleague. Great service and had nice talks with the staff. We were full after 2 courses, but colleague was still intrigued by the tiramisu on the menu. The staff made it happen and presented her a tiny tiramisu in an espresso cup. Lovely touch! We had the calamaris & aranchine to start. Followed by a sunday roast (porchetta & chicken). Special thanks to Dimitri, Claudio & Daniel for the great service they offered! Will come back whenever visiting Leeds again for business.

Would not go back. Terrible food for the price. Lighting and atmosphere awful. Service average. Was coerced into leaving a ‘cash tip’ as the waiter insist he wouldn’t get the service included on the bill. He wouldn’t leave until we gave him the tip!!!

Great place to grab a meal! The food is fresh and very flavorful. The atmosphere is inviting, and great for a dinner setting. Enzo was wonderful!

Staff were superb, cocktails and service in general was all done to a high standard! However the portion sizes of the food were pretty small and I found it overpriced. More than happy to spend top money on a meal but I found it very much style over substance when it came to the food and its quality.

It was the perfect place to celebrate my graduation. The food was absolutely delicious and atmosphere was amazing. They gave me a complimentary drink in addition to the complimentary drinks we all got with our food. We were served by Daniel who was very attentive and king. It’s rare I go to a place with my whole family and there was something for us all and all of us enjoyed. Wholeheartedly reccomend.
