The food was good quality, was quite expensive though but worth it, Good service with a relaxing atmosphere.

I took my granddaughters for a surprise meal after school. We were looked after very well , food and service excellent.

We had a small wedding party in the restaurant after our ceremony with a few close friends and family. The meals were all absolutely perfect, huge portions and piping hot. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service by the staff was excellent, with lots of extra little touches that we hadn't expected, but were extremely appreciated by all. Many thanks to all the staff for helping to make our special day even more perfect. We will definitely be returning many more times.

After visiting this restaurant a couple of times and really enjoyed it,we called in tonight for a meal, I ordered a parmo I got half way through eating it and noticed a hair. I called the man serving and told him I had a hair in my food he looked at it and asked if I wanted it replacing I said no thanks ,it had put me right off. After a while we got up to settle the bill and as all he had taken off our bill was a glass of coke ,which I thought was pretty disgusting, as this had ruined my meal and my husband was put off his food too.

Great Italian & always my go to place with friends, we visit on a Saturday lunchtime usually & food is always delicious & well presented, staff are always friendly & professional & nothing is a problem, cannot fault any part of the experience, one of my friends won’t go anywhere else now after been poorly as she feels at ease here, I hope we will be visiting Uno many more times in the future & would highly recommend to anyone wanting well cooked tasty food from an extensive menu & catering for all dietary needs, big thanks to all 🥳

We booked for Saturday night and the service, food and atmosphere was outstanding. Our table was reserved and waiting, the service was excellent and the food came out promptly and so, so delicious. What wonderful service for a very busy Saturday night, we were seated promptly, lovely cooked food , parmo and chicken with mushroom sauce, 1st class also a good price will be telling all my friends to visit.

My partner and I visited for the first time on a Saturday afternoon, not too busy nice friendly welcome. We had not booked but got a table , what a delicious meal, my partner had Lasagne with salad and wedges, I had Penne arrabbiata, and a garlic, such tasty well cooked and well presented food, giant garlic bread, very nice coffee too. Great service, we look forward to are next visit .

I have used this restaurant for years many times until about six months ago due to more than one bad experience. I gave the place one last chance in September 2023 on a Thursday night and we were out for a nice meal due to some good news etc. Yet again the experience was appalling. The customer count was minimal so clearly quiet but even still the service was terrible. I ordered a streak with Mash not chips and the food was barely cooked (steak) and came with chips (this is the second time in a row this has happened). I endured the steak as I said to my Wife that complaining is futile as it falls on deaf ears and we won't be visiting again, ever. What has happened to this (what was) a superb place to visit ??? It was heaving and full of atmosphere but now should be turned back into Blockbusters ! Such a shame. I use a lot of places to eat in Northallerton including Bianco's which is far superior in everyway; service is superb, food is amazing, attention to detail is on point and customers get the respect they deserve. Uno Momento Northallerton were contacted by email to explain this prior to this review so I could maybe give them a chance to resolve the issue but over a month later there is no reply. Albeit I did get a message request on facebook messenger regarding my email.......which worries me as why 'find' me on facebook rather than reply to my email. I now think the place is corrupt, inept and a disgrace to the restaurant profession and as above, we won't spend a penny ever again in this poorly ran place.

Absolutely delicious! Two course special was fantastic. Our party had starters and main courses. The garlic bread with cheese was beautiful, as were the bruschetta, pizzas and pasta dishes. Lovely staff and great service. We will definitely return. Thank you

Quite slow service. When the meals came out, one was missing and it took 10 mins after for that to come. The metal that was forgotten was the Goat cheese burger which had a misleading title and description . It turns out it was a beef burger with a little bit of goat cheese. Not a goat cheese burger. However the food tasted alright, with good portion sizes.

Visited Uno Momento again yesterday, wow they never fail to amaze me, great tasting food, fabulous atmosphere with music in the background, lovely staff who cannot be more helpful & nothing is a problem for them, we just love coming here & hopefully we’ll continue to do so for a long time to come, highly recommend this restaurant 🥳

Fabulous birthday meal! My boyfriend and I have frequented Uno Momento, several times in the past and their sister branch in Ripon. Never once have we been disappointed. Always busy with customers, lovely decor and music. Great service. We had Fillet Dianna and Fillet Momento, they were absolutely gorgeous. They apologised for the wait but honestly there was no wait at all, we were too busy chatting to notice! We were blown away by the steaks flavor and definitely will be ordering the same thing next time! Thank you so much!

Reasonable food, but 1 hour and 15 mins into meal, told we had to leave despite having made the reservation and them taking our desert order. Shocked and dismayed. Perhaps those that followed were more important than us. Saved me the price of a tip.

Delay on getting food at same time. Good atmosphere and quality food

In all my years this is the first time I was told that I had to eat up, would not get my desert we had just ordered, as they needed the table. A family reunion dinner cut short and we left open mouthed and frankly shocked. We had a reservation, arrived early, but 1 hour and 15 mins into dinner usherd out. What food we had was good, but will never be back. If you want to be certain you will get to finish your meal, this is not the place for you.

We did not plan to come here. We were on holiday and getting an emergency car repair done at the Kwik Fit opposite. We entered the restaurant needjng to be cheered up. The portions were generous, the quality of the food was very good, the service was friendly. We left in very good spirits.

Lovely calamari and pasta dishes. Good service from friendly staff. Lively atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

Been here before, usually good. I went last night with my partner and we had bruschetta for starter which has been great in the past however this time, took 45 mins to receive our starter and the bread used was a thin piece of brown bread (warburtons or hovis from the packet). Very Italian…… and they tried covering it in cheese as if I wasn’t gonna notice the cheapskate piece of brown crust that was used. Poor.

**edit: food used to be great but has gone down hill over the years . Pizzas are too thick and and crusts are massive, flattish but could had more sauce to give you more pizza . Pizza used to be thin and and taste amazing but taste is not something to rave about . I we tried many times over the last 12 months and everytime the food hasn’t been nice. Eatable but nothing to write home with like before. Seems as when Biancos opened up it all went down hill and if the cooks that worked there left and went there . Really disappointed compared to last visit. Portions have got smaller e.g 4 Potatoe skins for starter!! 7 chips with a Parmo. Pizzas large but minimal toppings etc and not that good, looks like there’s been a massive cut back but prices have gone up too....

Great food, great atmosphere, attentive lovely staff. The menu selection is huge and made choosing difficult because there was so much we liked. We didn't feel rushed at all and sat chatting after our meals without feeling we should leave. The waiter kindly brought us complementary limoncello which was gorgeous. The bill was excellent value for money. The best meal we have eaten in ages. Highly recommend the Formaggio e Carne (Black Pudding & Goats Cheese) starter. We will definitely be eating here again.

NOT GOOD WITH ALLERGIES - Nice atmosphere, good menu and staff initially friendly. Ordered food explained about allergy and reassured all ok. Food came, friend I was with said was nice. I ended up being sick with an allergic reaction. I explained to the staff when they came to collect my barely touched plate. Became very defensive and unfriendly when I said could they just check with chef. We paid (reluctantly!) and waiter had cheek to follow us out being all defensive, no apology. AVOID if you have allergies

My daughter and I popped in for some lunch having not visited before. The restaurant was cosy and very clean, music was atmospheric but not too loud. The waiting staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The specials board were varied and fairly priced. The food was delicious, quite obviously home made and not processed. Very generous portions - my daughter brought half her pizza home with her! We really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back.

I marked atmosphere down to 4 only because we were the only ones in, it was a Monday lunchtime so was expected. Food and Service was great though definitely go again.

This restaurant is an absolute gem. The menu is extensive, the service is friendly and extremely efficient. The food is always tasty, fresh, plentiful and piping hot. It is extremely good value for money. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

place was empty apart from our group of 8. A couple came during but that was it. Service was std... starter chilli prawns... greasy overcooked morsels with chilli dip.... hot shot chicken parmesan dry, thin overcooked...chips undercooked and tasted, stale, salad wilted and presented as sat in fridge for some time... basically the worst meal I've ever had in a restaurant. Chose as venue for a leaving party, when asked if food was ok, everyone too polite to complain. Dominos would have been a better choice tbh.

Came for food tonight with my boyfriend, he ordered the kiev parmo and i had the carbonara pasta. Parmo was very nice, pasta had too many onions so didn’t really eat but did get asked if wanted a new one. service was bad, waited ages to get asked if we wanted desserts, didn’t get checked on after receiving food.

Ridiculously cheap for the portion sizes. They brought me the wrong order (hotshot instead of normal calzone) but changed it without fuss. I was in a large group and they did very well to attend to us.

Without doubt, THIS IS THE BEST restaurant in Northallerton. This is one of the few places in Northallerton where you can order a pizza without cheese and not have to worry about it having some accidentally included. Good value for the size of portion you get. Very friendly staff, good service. Would always recommend going here.

Let’s start with the positive. The food is actually good. …but when it comes to ordering a takeaway, unless you are prepared to wait 2/2.5 hrs for it to turn up, don’t bother. This is the third time we’ve been through this with Uno Momento in Northallerton….and it’s only a random Monday (ie not even peak busy business hours) My wife and I ‘courtesy called the restaurant at the 1.5hr mark and were told the order was ‘out for delivery’….45 mins later, still waiting. Never again. Im very sad to say that they’ve lost our custom after the third of these instances :-(

Well to start we had to ring as the delivery was an hour late. We ordered 2 courses for two of us.. Our food was cold and we ordered a slice of cheesecake and when we opened it, well it was all melted and was pretty much a waste of money getting it. This is the second bad experience with delivery and we thought we’d give it a second chance. Not again!!

An absolutely brilliant lunchtime meal. Perhaps one of the best Italian meals in a long time. A very varied menu with so many flavours. Agnolotti was so delicious.

Took my daughter and parner and kids for pre wedding meal place fantastic food and drinks fantastic its where they wanted to go so it couldnt have been any better many thanks to unos and the staff fantastic evening
