Piccolo in Hambleton

Had a great time at this little tapas bar in Stokesley. The food was wonderful and came out quickly, great selection of cocktails too and Tina was very heplful. Would definitely recommend an evening here.

Visited piccolo and wasn’t disappointed. It’s a small venue but also own Ilmuno next door. Good came out quickly and well presented. Wasn’t cheap but not many places are these days. My only criticism is they ask you to move later for other people to have your table. Restaurants have to make money these days but still give it 5 stars.

This was our first time out in Stokesley, and with recommendations from friends we found ourselves in Piccolo. We only came for drinks, as they were 2 for 1 but ended up having an array of small plates. Atmosphere was amazing, as were the food and drinks. We left full and definitely not disappointed.

Visited the area for a night away and was blown away by this gem! The server Tiff is an absolute treasure…super friendly and relaxed, and made some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The food was very prompt and completely delicious, offering a range of very interesting and enticingly presented plates. We had the mozzarella sticks and chorizo at the bar while we perused the rest of the menu- gorgeous! Finally settled on the dressed Whitby crab, pork belly and lamb croquette with goats cheese…all faultless. The place filled up around us and the vibe was one of everyone having a great time!

This is our favourite little spot in Stokesley. Cosy atmosphere with lovely staff. Great drinks range and cool music. However please change the menu back to delicious pizzas and the other favourites ( king prawn pilpil ). The flat breads were disappointing and overpriced. we would visit again but wouldn’t eat with the present menu.

We love this little bar. It’s usually busy so maybe worth booking. Delightful menu and the food is super really really tasty. Also a great line up of cocktails available. Lovely friendly staff and a gorgeous place with a lovely ambience. Loads of parking outside so that’s a joy and locally Lots of other bars to go to. All up it’s always a lively experience here and well worth a visit.

This is what stokesley needs! It’s a point of difference, but the new menu is something extra special! This market town is calling for somewhere with a certain je ne sais quoi ….its exactly that ! It’s a small cocktail bar, but the menu, albeit small is very special indeed! So it’s essentially small plates, and we as a couple ordered 5…..pomme anna (amazing), beef carpaccio, oxtail ravioli, scallops and monkfish tail…I have to say this was beyond our expectations….really good and enough to graze on whilst you sup on some pretty delicious wine and cocktails. We’ve eaten here several times….but the new menu is the way forward and by far the best we have had in the town: We had the bread roll also, this was nice, but not the strongest dish in the menu….probably needs a similar centre to a chicken Kiev to give it moisture! It’s a place to visit with friends or couples, and most certainly a place for adults (can’t bring the kids here) . Brilliant job, keep it up 👍

Just had a beautiful meal with my wife. Very impromptu, they just happened to have a table ready. Glorious food!!! Who knew beetroot and goats cheese could be life changing! 4 small plates and we were done. Great flavour, great texture, epic cocktails, charming bar staff!!! Will definitely go again!

We’ve enjoyed Piccolo since it first opened, but with the recent new menu it has really raised its game. Interesting and unusual small plates, from beef carpaccio to beetroot and goats cheese, via oxtail ravioli and monkfish tail, all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Order a side of focaccia, you’ll want to wipe the plates clean!

6 of us went on Saturday evening. Drinks, food and service were exceptional. Monkfish tail, crab buns and beef carpaccio to name a few of the small plates we had from the new menu. The presentation was amazing. My only failure was to take some photos. We will be back very soon so hopefully I’ll remember then!!

We chose here for our works Christmas party this year and I’m so pleased we did, even though it’s a small space and there was 23 of us the food and service were outstanding. All our staff said the same and everyone really enjoyed their meals and drinks. Such a lovely vibe inside, and staff so professional nothing is ever too much trouble.

I booked out the entire place, piccolo for my 21st birthday, they made 2 cocktails for me and did balloons and gorgeous decoration, bartenders Issac & Will did a fantastic job & also let me put my own music on 🎶

Came to their industry night ! (Mega discounts on drinks!) which was a real treat for me and my boyfriend. Staff were all so nice and friendly, can’t wait to go to their next one !

I visited with a group of friends for the ‘Mama Mia’ bottomless pizza & Prosecco event. It was fantastic from start to finish. The staff went above & beyond to make it special . Drinks were poured super quick ,games were fun & we were made to feel part of an experience. Gutted we can’t get to the 80’s event but will Be watching out for any other ones . Special shout out to the fabulous Stacey,a born hostess. All the best for your upcoming wedding . Only negative…. Will be finding & washing glitter off for the foreseeable!

Had a fabulous day at the Mama Mia event. Staff all friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Great value for the food drinks and entertainment. Will keep checking for future events.

Lovely little restaurant, intimate and stylish. Food great and service from Phoebe excellent., couldn’t have provided better service., very thoughtful and pleasant without being intrusive. Look forward to a return visit soon.

Loved the food and the extremely cheerful and friendly bar person. Only marked the atmosphere down because we popped in early on a Monday evening, but to be fair have also been in when it was buzzing!

This is probably the fifth time we’ve been and every time it’s been great cocktails, tapas and friendly service!

We went here on 05/05/23 for birthday celebrations with my partner and friends and the service was great. The staff were very attentive and helpful and catered to cocktail requests that weren’t even on the menu anymore (try the solero cocktail). Couldn’t fault the place! Thanks for a great evening.

Had some nice small plates and a couple of drinks after work. Issac was very friendly and down to earth. Recommended us some small plates and drinks and spent time chatting about travelling, food and future events in the bar. Will be back soon.

Called quite early about 6.00 for a quick drink, ended up having a little food to. Really enjoyed both cocktails, expertly mixed by Isaac and excellent small plate food and sourdough. Shout out to Isaac who is very welcoming while stoll being profesional and helpful. He is a credit to this small intimate bar. We will be back.

A super novel place to drink in Stokesley. Both the ambiance and the cocktails are brilliant! Food looks good too, OR handy to eat at it’s ‘sister’ just around the corner. Would definitely recommend.
