The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Terrible service, had to go up and get the dips we had ordered that had been forgotten after trying to flag down a server for 10 mins. While our table was being cleared, we started to tell the server that we wanted dessert. Server left our table, as I was mid sentence and left the table half cleared for 25 minutes before we finally flagged someone down to get the bill. By that time our appetite had soured completely. We were also automatically charged 10% "optional service charge" for their terrible service. While exiting the bathroom I saw the chef ringing the bell for service while the server just ignored the call. Needs more wait staff and for them to pay more attention.

What a wonderful meal and night. Our waitress Solé was fantastic and recommended the perfect steak. Would definitely go back again.

The pizza had quite bad dough and the beers are tasteless. Good tomato soup and a decent burrata.

Great food and good service. Staff very attentive on allergies, but possibly over-so - we wanted a garlic bread with half vegan cheese and half mozzarella, the waiting staff were cautious about this and tried to talk us out of it even though we were saying neither of us had a dairy allergy, but they eventually agreed. There was then a miscommunication in the kitchen and we were served one with just vegan mozzarella. They were very apologetic and brought us another one free of charge.

Family fave when we are craving for authentic italian and they are halal (also alcohol free!) The ragu for the spaghetti bolognese is too good to pass up. We went for sunday roast as well and it was delicious! Friendly staff, and food served pretty quick.

we wanted to eat there because in Italy they make spectacular pasta but everything was closed, it seemed like I had failed or it was closed permanently rip. You could have warned

This is a very authentic Italian restaurant. The real meals had here tasted as real as they did when I visited Italy so this is not one of those overly-Britishwashed Italian restaurants. Customer service was exceptional despite not pre-booking. I'll recommend you pre-book though as it gets packed really quick. Great value for money too as I can't remember when I last spent that less in an authentic restaurant that's that Central. A massive thank you to the classic chef and the splendid staff. 🙏🏾 Highly Recommend 👌🏾

Good service, very friendly staff and liked the atmosphere. The only thing the fudge cake was not homemade one and not the best taste otherwise good experience

Having continuously rang the number as advertised on Google to book as advised when buying the Groupon voucher, we tried to book for 2 weeks before visit but we had no answer. We went to the cafe on the day we visited Liverpool, we asked for a table for 2. They asked if we had a booking & if it was groupon to which I replied no to the booking but yes to Groupon. I was about to try and explain we had tried the number had no answer but we were cut dead by a man, possibly the chef who just said NO...and that was it. Although there were tables free I appreciate they were possibly booked but sadly the rudeness off the chef was an absolute let down having read good things about here. Don't do Groupon if you just want fully paying customers 🙄
