Fantastic coffee, great atmosphere friendly staff and quick with responce and very respectful

Our grandaughter (age 4) says "It's yummy" and she wants to go again. I have to agree with her.

Amalfi in Dartmouth is a wonderfully intimate little restaurant serving super food and wine. Starting with the responsive and friendly booking process via WhatsApp, we felt welcome before we got there! We enjoyed the antipasto shared plate to start. Then pizza and the most delicious asparagus tortellini for mains. Warm chocolate brownie and blood orange sgroppino with amaretto and almonds followed. The rose wine was beautiful! Service from Mike and the team was faultless. Thank you for the extra touches; you went above and beyond. Looking forward to returning and bringing friends with us too.

We pre booked this restaurant in advance for the half term holiday 2024. I got an email confirmation of the booking and a further email reminder which I confirmed as requested. On the evening we travel 5 miles to the restaurant to find it closed with no explanation on the door, website or social media. Communication with this restaurant is very poor

Three of us visited on a Saturday lunchtime before heading off to the football which was a 15 minutes walk away. Strangely, because the food and service were first class, we were the only customers in there. I have no doubt that it was much busier in the evening. I will definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Without doubt the worst restaurant experience i have ever had. we were a party of around 20 - 30. booked in advance and pre ordered all food. Drinks took an age to arrive, then starters came an hour later...i am currently still waiting for my main meal!!! my tummy thought my throat had been cut and i have eaten more when stranded on an island for 4 years with my good friend Wilson, god rest his soul. In total we were here for around 3 hours, most of that time spent waiting for food or drinks. The food was poor and a number of our party returned their food. Just really poor customer service, owner just sat at the bar and left the young waitress' to deal with the unrest (we were not the only unhappy party in there). Needless to say, if i never go back here again it would be too soon. Terrible food, terrible service, and an owner that couldnt give a monkeys! Avoid at all costs.

Service was good and friendly, nice quiet lunchtime atmosphere with good food and wine. We were Unhurried whilst staff were attentive A little limited for the menu but nice specials. Loved the king prawns.

Food was absolutely awful. One was burnt and the other was supposed to be carbonara. It was just plain pasta no sauce. Just eat are abysmal too for not chasing a complaint up. Won’t order ever again

Went here for a meal before going to Grand Theatre to see Sister Act. It may not look great but Brilliant Pizzas and simple but fresh salad. Great friendly service. Just what was needed a perfect pre theatre meal.

Llamé en spec realmente deseando una cena rápida antes del teatro. Es un buen trabajo llegar cuando lo hicimos - en cuestión de minutos estaban llenos. No se sorprende en absoluto, el servicio es rápido, eficiente y amable. Los platos principales eran extremadamente sabrosos y el Tiramisu era posiblemente el mejor que he probado. Sin duda recomiendo, están abiertos desde el desayuno hasta tarde en la noche.

Tuvimos una cena encantadora un domingo por la noche. El restaurante tiene un ambiente relajado encantador y sirve comida italiana genuina. Nuestra comida era deliciosa. El personal es muy amable y atento. Muy recomendable.

Absolutely shameful that you would allow customers to make reservations (with a full confirmation!) for a restaurant that is closed!!

The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully plated. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Lovely food and cosy, stylish restaurant. As a group of 4 we were given a choice from the set menu at £45 each. This worked out more expensive than ordering the same items on the a L carte menu! Would have liked a choice of which menu to choose from. Also stated outside that there was a pre theatre menu, but once inside, it was not offered. Food delicious but vey expensive.
