L’assaggino in Kingston upon Thames

Amazing food at the restaurant. Arrived at 6pm loads of tables available, menu has loads of different pasta and pizza it catered for all my family. Shortly after ordering they came out with bread and olives and they were delicious. We got a starter of calamari and a brochette what was 10/10. For my main I got the sausage ragu what absolutely amazing. One of my family members got the chefs special she said it was extremely tasty. The pizza were delicious and all the family enjoyed it. For desert I got the conoli and it tasted fresh. Some of my family members got the the special desert and then said it couldn’t be better. Overall me and my family enjoyed it and we I’ll go back again. We highly recommend it 😁

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and a great menu. All our food was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Really enjoyed the authentic dishes and look forward to returning. Great atmosphere for couples, friends and families.

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening having read good reviews and it was local/ recently changed hands/name. We had made a reservation and the greeting we received was hostile to say the least. The greeter was clearly irritated that 2 of the party had mobility aids and was trying to rush us, almost causing a fall - not a good start. She was also our server and although we had gotten off to a bad start tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. She was inflexible, with inaccurate answers. One meal was cold and she tried to argue that’s the way it was meant to be. So main courses very disappointing. Desserts a bit better. The same server despite seeing us packing up to leave came and told us she needed our table. Terrible service, not great food and definitely won’t be returning. I’d say avoid no inclusivity here.

What a fantastic find. Truly delicious and authentic Italian (Sardinian) food. The pasta dishes are spectacular and different, the taste sensational. It’s special. Give this place a try it deserves to be very successful

Really authentic cuisine served with expertise and experience. Obviously, a special place for local people.

This was our sixth visit to this authentic Italian restaurant in Kingston. We visit every time we are in London. The food is always good and it’s a plus that the staff has Italian accents. There is a nice deli for lunch and there are some Italian grocery items available as well. The location is about a mile from Kingston town center in a mostly residential area (bus 371 gets you there from the town center).
