The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Family early evening out with three children under 6. Prompt , and efficient, so the kids were not kept waiting which was brilliant. Food excellent and generous and fairly priced. Totally recommend

Took 4 of my friends to this lovely Place. The food was absolutely gorgeous with a wide range of authentic Italian snacks/meals. The staff were so lovely and the Italian owner (so sorry, forgot his name) was amazing and helpful. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you

We've been here twice now as the venue is only 15 minutes away. Both occasions have been great - the tasting menu is varied and filling, creative and delicious. We didn't feel rushed and there's a sense of 'what, more food?!' until finally we got dessert. Neither of us are big drinkers - luckily we could split the wine tasting and it still seemed plenty. Wines are mostly (all?) Italian and paired well with the food. Both the sommeliers were very knowledgeable about the wines. Overall, can't recommend enough :)

Never been here before and had an absolutely delicious meal. A very warm welcome, friendly waiters, fast service and reasonable prices. So glad we've discovered this gem, we will definitely be back.

Hace algún tiempo, cenamos en La Pietra durante nuestro viaje a la ciudad de Londres. El chef hizo que pasáramos una noche inolvidable. La comida era fresca y muy sabrosa. Disfrutamos de un mezclado chapada con embutidos, diferentes pastas y algunos postres. Sin duda recomiendo este restaurante a cualquiera que visite Londres.

Amazing proper italian food never had any food like this apart from when in italy staff very freindly and welcoming will be returning a must visit

La comida era excelente, todos teníamos los platos pequeños y compartidos, todos eran propina - superior. El servicio también fue excelente, cálido y acogedor. El ambiente era muy agradable, una gran lista de reproducción de música a un nivel perfecto para permitir la conversación. Sin duda volveríamos a ir todos, es perfecto para reunirse con amigos.

If you want warm white wine and lots on the menu that’s unavailable, then this is the place for you. We arrived at 6pm and the restaurant was empty but the girl pointed at a table we could have, when we could have sat anywhere! We were served white wine un-chilled / limited menu/ no chilli oil/ had to ask for cutlery and pepper, and this looked to be a hassle. The girl behind the bar seemed fed up and I asked for chilli oil 3 times and eventually she said they did not have any without telling me this. Felt bad for the boy waiter as he was apologising for all the failures that had occurred. We were also told the restaurant was busy dealing with the tables outside (there were only two covers). Can’t believe the pizzeria doesn't open until 5pm and they don’t have basic ingredients to fill the menu and the wine is not chilled. Call me old fashioned, but the customer is the customer and we are all paying a bill at the end of the night and expect good service and a smile. Food was actually nice but not an enjoyable experience. Lucy did not make us feel welcome. :-(

Nice Italian food but a little expensive. The place does not get very busy and I don't think booking is necessary.
