Macaroni Liberation Front in Hackney

Al llegar al frente de liberación de macarrones, los propietarios nos saludaron personalmente y se aseguraron de que tuviéramos un momento agradable. Ofrecen chispas o agua del grifo de forma gratuita y también son generosos con ella. Una fusión entre el restaurante y la cafetería que sirve comida italiana liberada que supera los límites de las recetas italianas tradicionales a propósito, o que permite que la comida italiana se convierta en tiempo. Tuve una deliciosa carbonara de mariscos con almejas y calamares compartidos con amigos. Luego comí una lasaña vegetariana con salsa de tomate casera, un poco de cebolla y berenjenas al horno con queso y pesto casero. La lasaña era deliciosa y tenía un buen equilibrio de ingredientes. El pesto es por mucho el mejor que he tenido. Mientras que tenía un fraly de Illy (que era increíble) mis amigos tenían un salami de chocolate que al igual que la otra comida era realmente buena. El café aquí también es muy bueno también. Buen valor para el dinero.

Was struggling to find somewhere as didn't know the area and spotted this place, so glad we went in - very welcoming and chef came out to chat and go through the dishes with us. Had cuttlefish stew (gorgeous) and tuna spaghetti (also gorgeous) from the specials. Heartily recommend and will definitely return if we are ever that way again - thanks guys, it was actually our wedding anniversary and eating there was a lovely treat

What a find this wonderful restaurant in of all places Dalston. Everything from the coffee to the delicious food is served with a smile and really is authentic Italian cuisine. We have been twice and I cannot wait for our next visit. On our last visit we took friends who travel to Italy often and they could not believe all the different flavours. It really is a little gem. Cannot rate highly enough.

This is my favourite restaurant in Dalston. I’ve been here countless times whilst working in the area, for brunch, dinner and coffees. Everything they serve here is delicious and authentic Italian cuisine. The staff are absolutely lovely and so helpful when ordering. I can not recommend them highly enough. If you’re visiting the nearby Arcola Theatre or just hoping for a delicious relaxed meal in E8, then look no further. You won’t be disappointed ***** all the way from me!!!

I’ve been here trying their food and their new concept quite a few times and never been disappointed. Always with friends to introduce them and they all came back, I believe it’s a good feedback! You have good quality food and taste, creativity and genuine ideas displayed on the plate. A very good experience in a casual, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Menu was amazing and explained to us with passion by the chef. We were impressed by the variety of dishes, and tried a selection of vegan and traditional food. The vegan carbonara pasta was luscious, but equally tasty and perfectly cooked were the cacio and pepe spaghetti with lime and the sea-bass with sicilian sauce. The staff have enthusiasm and real passion for the menu and the quality of the food. they are welcoming and friendly.

In terms of the menu, this place had us at macaroni cheese with scallops. In the end we shared the bake and the sea bass with a kind of Mediterranean tomato caper and olive dressing. Both were super yummy - the bake was comforting, luxuriant and not at all stodgy while the fish was perfectly cooked, light and full of flavour. The prices are very reasonable and the staff were lovely - perfect place to grab dinner in a relaxed environment, and the menu is super veggie friendly. Will definitely be going again.

This little restaurant in Dalston square revisits dishes from the Italian tradition to embrace new culinary tends without forgetting their original flavours. The vegan options use only real and authentic ingredients (you won’t believe their vegan carbonara!). Plenty of delicious vegetarian and pescatarian options too. The atmosphere is chilled and the prices definitely affordable. I will be coming back for more.

Following their motto ("all traditions were new once"), this brand new restaurant is reinventing traditional Italian dishes...with a twist. The result is surprising, refreshing, brilliant. Come here for dinner and you won't be disappointed.

Having always stopped by in the mornings for coffee before work, I popped in with my young family to have dinner on Friday evening. It was amazing! Such an interesting new menu, the food was really something!! Drinks and coffee were perfect as was the great service from the team running it. This restaurant has an extraordinary community feel. It is such a welcoming place - the recent refurb is great too. I love it and will definitely be back! If you are in the area please please check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Just back from a great evening in this new restaurant in dalston. Recently renewed and rebranded from a place for Italian focaccia to an actual restaurant with amazing food and atmosphere. The chef, Davide, is offering great creations in a totally new style mixing the Italian tradition with a revolutionary taste, the result is simply great. Maia and Alessia are great hosts and make everyone feeling at home by contributing to the pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a place to visit again at my next stop in London...

The focaccia was nothing like the focaccia anyone who's been to Genova would expect. Not even close. I spent all my summers in Genova growing up and this was very disappointing, especially because I had high expectations based on the raving reviews.

This is a fabulous local Italian Cafe which I go to ever so often and not once has it disappointed. Excellent coffee by very skilled baristas. The food is always fresh and of a consistently high quality. The service is charming and lights up one’s day. I sincerely hope they do brilliantly well and go from strength to strength as they make this pocket of London the better for it. The focus on the best quality of ingredients married with exquisite execution makes this a superstar in its own right. Few weekends can start without their breakfast - which is making me want Saturday to come quick!

The coffee is fantastic here. It also has a lovely relaxed atmosphere equally suited to families and workers, and warm and welcoming staff.

We went for a light snack and we were presented with an incredible variety of fresh focacce. We had a chance to taste an excellent pesto served with slices of focaccia. I strongly recommend this place

Lovely place in Dalston square, they make a fantastic focaccia...from the "basic" one with olives to the more elaborated versions which make a great lunch. The staff is very friendly and they make a good espresso too!

The focaccia is delicious, and cakes are amazing! Also coffee tastes better than in most places in London, it must be because it is truly Italian coffee.. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

I love the place (on the ground floor of a library), I love their "focacceria", with some original pieces of furniture (the vintage DF letters on the wall, the oblò in the toilet), I love their focaccia, made with care and high quality ingredients.
