Italiano Pizza in Hackney

This place is really insane. Rarely have I gone somewhere where the appearance of the establishment didn’t look like much but the food was incredible. I ordered a Mexican hot with a deep pan crust and it was genuinely one of the best pizzas I had. The pizza was melted evenly across the pizza and wasn’t plasticky/cardboard at all, the toppings were clearly fresh from that day (not frozen) and the crust was probably the best I’ve ever had on a pizza. It’s perfectly seasoned with a nice oregano flavour throughout and it holds up all the toppings nicely. It’s filling but delicious. Pictured here is a small but i will get a medium next time. If you’re in need of some good pizza that isn’t the generic sourdough wood fired stuff you see plastered everywhere these days, this is the place to go.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you as well as the most delicious pizzas at this lovely little takeaway in Nile Street. It was recommended to us by a local resident who couldn’t speak highly enough of this place, the owner and his food and after visiting we’re 100% in agreement!

Just ordered this pizza, poor quality at a high price. Suspect the Google reviews are fake given some mention good service from the waiters and it isn’t a sit in restaurant? Will be getting Pizza Union down the road next time.

Really disappointing from this as I ordered in online delivery, got a long hair in pizza as well the chicken taste was so bad as it feels like 2/3 days old chicken.

Late, not enough driver available. Very bad quality pizza and came with onions even though my one note was no onions. Small and low quality ingredients very overpriced. All round disappointed, wish I didn’t order it.

Been going here since I was younger, the quality is always the best and amazing customer service. Family owned business, and the owner is always so kind and accommodating! Would recommend if you’re looking to order a good quality hearty pizza! We usually get the deep pan pizza and it’s our favourite plus it’s very affordable for the sizing!

Gave it another go ( a friend of mine had the bad idea to buy pizza from here ) ...And it's just terrible. Worst pizza you could have around Hoxton/Shoreditch. Possibly one of the truly worst pizza spots in London. - Greasy and doughy half-cooked base - Tomato sauce with added sugar that tastes like candy bars - Some mysteriously tasteless cheese - How can they claim to be Italian with zero Italians working there? - I got serious doubts about their hygiene standards This place makes money due to its position and the fact that's always open. Ideal spot for drug addicts and/or generically desperate ppl. The 5 stars reviews are clearly coming from people who don't know what pizza is and/or have no standards. Trust me: Beware!

This was a great little spot to get a bite while I was visiting from out of town. The gentleman behind the counter was so nice and courteous and when I took my pizza back to my flat, it was still warm and insanely delicious. Baked to perfection. A definite winner for me!

Worst pizza I had in London. Crust was too think and had no salt in it. Got the cesar pizza and weirdly it has tomato sauce in it, cheese was tasteless. Maybe the thin crust is better but the think one is horrendous

Pizza boxes need to be secured shut with stickers or something that won’t allow it to be open unless by the paying customer. I caught my delivery driver with my box open before he rang my bell with him flaming “he was just checking” . Food rating inaccurate due to not accepting pizza due to catching the driver with my food open. Awful behaviour from a delivery driver.. he has no right to open food he has not purchased himself. Glad I caught him absolutely disgusting.

This is it. This is the best pizza (at least delivery) I have had in London. And I have tried so many of them. It was perfect. I don’t know what the different bases mean, but I got Pepperoni, Pan, “Italian Fluffy base”. Bravo, please don’t change a thing!!

As soon as I opened my door, my driver apologized for the poor service. He told me that he had to wait at the restaurant for 20 minutes to get my food to deliver. I had been watching the Just Eat web site, and I knew he spent a long time "At the Restaurant." The driver said the restaurant staff were rude to him when he questioned the long delay. The food was only so-so: kind of bland. We ordered a pizza with sausage, but the "sausage" was more like a sliced hot dog than real Italian sausage. The wings were pretty good: meaty and well-cooked; although the barbecue sauce came just in a fast-food takeaway container, so the wings by themselves were bland. My driver was so upset with the long wait he had to endure at the restaurant (which made him late delivering my food to me) that he recommended I ask for a refund from Just Eat. He was so upset that he refused to accept the tip I tried to give him. I did eat the food, so I'm not sure I can ask for my money back; but I do know I won't be ordering from Italiano Pizza again, but I would be honored to have the same driver deliver my next meal.

The time estimated for delivery was21.05 - 21.25 it arrived 21.50 one hour and half after it was ordered my granddaughter was asleep by the time it arrived

Great pizza! Fluffy base, very generous topping of good quality food. Couldn’t finish it, very rare for me! Delivery driver didn’t want to come to my flat (but did say he couldn’t park) so called me from outside so I had to go down but friendly and polite. Great service.

Pizza is epic! Perfect accompainiment for my long night of studying. I could have done without the delivery driver shouting at me at 00:15 for not writing the instruction "call when outside" (I omitted this because I thought it was obvious..!) I'll write that in the future, and still would have if you'd simply said the words politely. I suggest you work on your manners as not many people expect to be shouted at after paying £11.49 for a small-medium vegetarian pizza!

THE BEST PIZZA PLACE IN LONDON. Not only is the pizza here affordable, the food is delicious and it’s halal! And to top it off, the owner is also incredibly kind. Don’t be fooled by the looks, it may be a small takeaway shop, but it’s definitely worth it!

Unassuming place, but really good pizza served with a smile. Because they cook the pizza with the core ingredients before adding the cheese for a second cook, its perfectly cooked through and crispy in the right places. Big smile from Mo who made my pizza aswell. Now first choice when working late!
