Very nice place , food was tasty. The staff were really friendly. Will definitely be coming here again.

Went in for a coffee with a friend. Had to ask if we could order as we were waiting for a while.I had an oat latte it didn't taste right so asked if it was the right milk .Was shown the carton of oak milk and told don't drink it if you don't like it .Shame as usually the service is great he was far more polite to the group of men also there

This isa lovely cafe with excellent food. Always spotlesssly clean. Tables cleaned. Excellent friendly service

This is my third attempt on trying to enjoy this cafe.... they have either run out of ingredients, extremely poor customer service and rude. Very inflexible. Made to feel like a burden. I ate a fabulous pizza once here so tried to return but owner was sooo rude that it was made obvious it was a bother for him to serve us.

Fantastic fresh sandwiches and lovely cakes. Great service and relaxed environment. Definitely worth a visit.

We come here on a regular basis and like their food, coffees and cakes. Partner had his birthday today and he wanted pizzas from the Loundge so I ordered by phone and collected within the 20 minutes they told me it would be. The pizzas were hot and delicious and we all had a fantastic birthday lunch !! Thank you guys for prompt service and delicious food as always !

A menudo voy aquí con mis hijos. El personal siempre es muy acogedor. Hay libros para niños y adultos para leer, y WiFi gratis para trabajar.Excelentes cafés, batidos, pizzas recién hechas en su propio horno de pizza y sabrosas ensaladas, a un precio muy razonable. También hornean sus propios pasteles que son sabrosos.

Nice guys at this little cafe, I would very much return if they work on their sandwiches, each time ordered, sandwiches tend to come out with barley any fillings, pesto chicken tend to have quite a lot of oil but other than that, not bad.

I had an unusual English Breakfast here one morning while in London. In general very nice although unusual to have sauteed potato in my breakfast. If I was being picky about anything the sausage was an odd texture but generally very tasty and herby.

Love this cafe. Everything I have eaten there is fabulous. My favourite is the delicious pasta with the most amazing tomato sauce I have ever tasted. Super staff too. Great prices.

I have been living so long time in Highams park...but did not know how good can be the food and the service .....so i was amazed after having perfect lunch! See you soon guys...love your sweets!

Great caffee and good food. We come here for coffee and croissants ( as they are fresh unlike the one in Costa Coffee). But do try their cooked menu. They do lovely salad, pizzas, full English. I was never disappointed. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. They are very good with children. At the back is nice large toilet.

Great customer service! And the food, OMG! We were coming here every morning, tried different dishes from the menu and it was super tasty everytime! This is a great place to start your day :)

The place is cozy with many breakfast options. We’ve tried it once during our visit and never went elsewhere for breakfast. Pies are worth mentioning separately, very delicious. Great coffee as well. The prices are very reasonable (~5£-6£ for a dish from breakfast menu)

Overall their food is top notch but their cakes!!!! They are just unreal! Hand made, crisp, soft, sweet, tangy... got everything. My mouth is watering thinking about these cakes right now!

We went for a late lunch and had the pizzas. Amazing taste and piping hot. Friendly staff and pleasant surrounding. They were willing to add extras to the carbonara so all four of us were happy. Oh great coffee too.

Hace poco compré una casa en la zona y debo admitir que me decepcionó bastante la falta de buenos cafés y tiendas en Highams Park. ¡Este lugar me ha hecho tan feliz! Primero visité para un café y una torta. El café era encantador y los pasteles eran exquisitos. Digo pasteles (en plural) porque eran tan buenos que tenía que tener dos diferentes. Luego me di cuenta de que hacían paninis y por eso probé uno de esos y estaba delicioso. Me encantó el ambiente y la comodidad del lugar, así que volví un par de veces más, pero me decepcionó un poco que no hicieran las comidas adecuadas, o eso creía yo. Hoy, volví a visitar y noté a alguien sosteniendo un menú. ¡Brillante! Pedí unos huevos de aguacate y escalfados sobre una tostada, que estaba deliciosa y bien presentada. Luego mi esposo se unió a mí y está haciendo una dieta baja en carbohidratos, por lo que no podía comer mucho en el menú y quería una mezcla de diferentes alimentos, lo cual me daba un poco de vergüenza pedir por él, pero el chico estaba más que feliz de acomodar la solicitud. El servicio aquí es siempre muy amable y servicial. Estoy tan contento de que haya al menos un buen café en Highams Park, ¡y también a un precio razonable!

Hemos visitado Highams salón un número de veces para café y pastel (que son divinos y que incitan al aparecer en la ventana) pero esta era la primera vez que habíamos tenido la comida caliente.

Frequently visit with my boys- and it seems they also do so without me! Good selection, cosy and very friendly, serves halal food, all freshly made to order, Oreo milkshake is a must...all topped up with awesome service Great addition to the community

Yo y mi familia son todos los visitantes frecuentes en Highams Lounge. Es refrescante sencilla con una selección de pastas y pizzas, así como en ensaladas y patatas de la chaqueta. Los precios son muy competitivos y todo el personal es amable y servicial. También tienen comida para llevar, lo cual es genial si no quieres cocinar pero no quieres algo demasiado insalubre!

Un desayuno rápido de domingo por la mañana en un café al azar frente a la estación. Se ve limpio y lo suficientemente decente, pero nada tan especial. Sólo el personal es tan amable y eficiente. El café fue hecho a la perfección, con cuidado, y servido con una sonrisa radiante. Y mis huevos florentinos fueron increíbles para 4. 50 - espinacas frescas, huevos perfectamente escalfados y deliciosa holandesa. ¡Guauu! Una gran manera de comenzar el día. Estaremos de vuelta. Frecuentamos Highams Lounge una vez cada dos semanas. Buen menú, mucho para elegir, incluyendo su pizza recién hecha. La comida es fresca, sabrosa y abundante. Lo que se destaca es el servicio. Siempre son muy educados, amables y cálidos, es un placer ir allí. ¡Excelente local!

1st visit with my daughter and would recommend good attentive service and very good breakfast.We both said we would return and try the waffles next time.

I went to this cafe for lunch, and had a prawn cocktail wrap, which really hit the spot. The owner is nice, and there is plenty of seating. I will be back to try out their cakes, which look really good.

Los chefs especiales era excelente, así como la pizza. Staffarevery acogedor y nada es demasiado problema. Se han producido más mejoras en todas las mesas, siendo muy cómodo tener tipo sillón. Además de los más variados platos, pizzas, desayuno inglés, baguettes, paninis y sandwiches y sopas caseras, Jay y su personal han agregado de té de la tarde, incluyendo sándwiches 1430 individual, scones, mantequilla y mermelada. I work near this cafe, and its really nice. Staff are great. Very clean and welcoming at all times. They serve lovely coffee and at reasonable prices. There is also a lunch time menu which one of my colleagues at work tried and found the...

We come here as a family because the pizza is gigantic and delicious and the kids love the chocolate bar milkshakes . Services is extremely friendly and helpful, food is pretty good . I hear from friends that the prawn pasta is delicious but we don't deviate from the pizza ...and finally I like the back room where rampaging toddlers can be contained !

Since renovation that cafe is just the best place to go for any meal in the day. Clean and great service. Pizza is fantastic and great value

Came here for breakfast on Sunday with our child. 2 English breakfasts, 2 drinks. Lovely little place, food is excellent and very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back

Went to try out the refurbished Highams Lounge on the day it reopened & was pleasantly surprised by what they have done. Fresh looking with seating outside, ample seating in the main part & a nice quiet area by the back. Staff are fantastic, friendly & enthusiastic. We tried the strawberry waffles & they were fantastic & reasonably priced. Went back today for another helping & wasn't let down. Generous amount of strawberries, cream & maple syrup. Also a decent dollop of lovely ice cream. Will be going back on a regular basis for our waffle fix.

I popped into Highams Lounge on the way home from a Tea Dance in Stratford and I was blown away by it's transformation. It's newly refurbished decor is stylish, bright welcoming and clean with "library" wallpaper which makes a huge difference to the ambiance . Now with toilets, 3 separate eating areas (2 inside one outside) comfy chairs so even more delightful than it was previously (see my previous review in 2014) Light, bright and airy all food is freshly cooked and prepared and served by really lovely staff who treat you like a favoured guest. Really lovely snacks, meals or just coffee & cakes as the low price menu includes pasta, pizza and all manner of snacks, so everyone will be catered for. I was there at 18.15 and two young families were eating, the 4 young boys seemed delighted as they got to choose their own pizza toppings (always a hit with kids). It's already a great hit locally - even Mayoral hopeful Zac Goldsmith loved it when he visited a few days ago - so I hope they post some photos soon to show of this classy eatery in Highams Park. I wasn't really hungry but wanted to buy something to celebrate how amazing it all looks and support this fabulous refurbishment so I had a croissant with cheese, tomato & pesto chicken (just £1 though I suspect the "real" price is more). Directly opposite Highams Park Overground station it's ideal when visiting or passing through or for the monthly Sunday Farmers Market and for me, it's the classiest café in Highams Park.The toilet, I didn't need on this visit but as everything else is brand new and well appointed I fully expect that to be equally so.I highly recommend this lovely oasis . . enjoy

I used to frequent the cafe here years ago until the guy who owned it sold it and it really went downhill fast. Thankfully today, it's been re-vamped and with it's new management, this is now, once again, a little gem in Highams Park.It's an ideal place for meet for coffee and snacks with all manner of food, on offer like sandwiches, wraps and hot food like soups and lasagne.Very generous portions and good quality fresh food.I visited here for lunch in December and the friend I was with was hugely impressed by the lasagne and salad meal he had which was excellent. I adore the hot chocolate and the warm friendly, welcome from whoever is on duty that day.Situated directly opposite Highams Park station it's ideal for a snack anytime from 7am - 18.30 which always makes it a hit with locals.
