Pizzeria Bakewell in Derbyshire Dales

£12 for a margarita and £12 for a meat feast ? Alarm bells should have rung then when most pizza's are the same price . I am unsure who has put good reviews on for this place but the pizzas are the worst we have ever had ! Definitely not fresh pizza ! Had to bank transfer £29 for 2x £12 pizza and 1x£4 fries, clearly their maths isn't too good either. I would rather eat dry bread than eat this frozen rubbish.. we waited about half an hour and was not told there would be a wait, husband had gone the fish and chip shop round the corner and eaten his before we had even got ours, whole experience was just awful.

We ordered takeaway pizzas on Friday night whilst visiting the area. Absolutely delicious. Best pizza we have had for a long time. Highly recommend. Thank you, Cath

HORRIBLE. The attitude of the bullying proprietor towards hard working, diligent young staff is nothing short of criminal. I was too shocked to speak out at the time. I came here because my old fav pizza place Rici's had changed, biggest bad choice for a long time. Why is this place as high as the lowly 41/70 in Bakewell is beyond me. There are 69 better choices to be made. Hey owner, leave those kids alone!

We had take away so this is based on take away only. Don’t let the looks of this little pizzeria fool you. It looks very unassuming when you walk in. Ordered 3 pizzas, margarita, pepperoni and meat feast and some fries. Firstly these skin on fries were probably the best skin on fries I have had. Very moreish. The pizza looked authentic, had a few dark bits in the bread which I love. This pizza tasted so fresh. The tomato base tasted proper home made, the bread was absolutely amazing and the toppings were just enough. This is the type of food that puts a smile on your face. The other thing that put a smile on my face was the price. £43 for 3 amazing pizzas and 2 portions of fries. When it tastes as good as this that’s value. We will definitely be back when we stay around the area again.

Great little local business and yes busy which is usually a good sign, after a long day at dog show everyone in the party fancied pizza Could not order over phone but thought we would visit in person, as soon as we got in to shop mentioned 25 minute wait and it was worth it The base was obviously fresh and the pizza sauce base was one of the best I have ever tasted, good amount of quality toppings not the usual cheap ham for my meat feast We ordered the Top 4 Pizzas Margarita, Vegetarian, Pepperoni & my meat feast all winners with everyone happy including my 15 year old daughter a pizza connoisseur she scored her Pepperoni 10/10 The collection was timely even though extremely busy and the Garlic Mayonnaise was to die for Even if you have to wait do it and get a drink next door Only slight criticism is the same with must pizza not cut all the way through but sure this may be deliberate to stop movement in transit Very warm and friendly staff

Don’t be deceived by the photos you see on social media. The pizzas are nothing like them. They look and taste like supermarket pizza. Thick disgusting base. Not enjoyable at all. I would rather have popped down to Aldi and got a pizza for much cheaper than buy from this place.

OUTSTANDING. We have tried other local pizzas but this olace is in a different league . The pizzas were so delicious we went back next night amd had two more . Great guys 🍕🍕🍕. The owner is such a nice woman and you can see the passion for the place . You gotta visit this place . By far the best pizza shop been too in a long time . Warning they were extremely busy . So get in early . Looks like its the one the locals use as everyone knew everyone .
