The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Friendly place, friendly people, clean and tidy. Lovely food and excellent coffee. Coffee could do with being a little hotter if I had to find a suggestion.

Overpriced and rude staff, terrible atmosphere. Really trying to be a big city experience but the only thing that resembles a big city experience are the big city prices.

This understated little gem of a restaurant consistently turns out delicious food. The service is brilliant and we will be back.

Booked a table for a meeting with colleagues to turn up and find out that it was closed. Embarrassing but thankfully remedied by a neighbour restaurant.

Never had a bad meal from here, have both eaten in with the £9.99 for 3 corses and it’s unbeatable value and quality, recently we did the munch boxes takeaway and I can confirm the quality and value carries over. Outstanding food, unbeatable value and brilliant staff. I’ll say it the best Italians in Sunniside, there I said what are they gonna do shoot me ? They have to catch me first but they can’t cos I’m too quick. 10/10

Fuimos cálidamente recibidos por el atento personal, y nuestra camarera, Alba, fue realmente excepcional - su servicio era de primera - de primera, lo que nos hace sentir increíblemente bien atendido. La comida fue un punto culminante, mostrando deliciosa y auténtica cocina. Optamos por el menú grande, que resultó ser una excelente opción, ofreciendo una calidad fantástica y porciones generosas por el precio. Cada plato era sabroso y satisfactorio. Really enjoyed my breakfast at Macchiato, friendly accommodating staff , super quick service and lovely food. Great coffee too.

My friends and I all had a delicious lunch. I chose the jacket potato with cajun toasted peppers, jackfuit and hummus and the flavours were amazing. Good value compared to similar places in town, staff are friendly and helpful and there is a nice atmosphere. The ice creams look delicious so we will be back in Summer to try them.

I'm not sure what's going on but they used to best pizza about and I'm a regular customer other day got freezing cold kebab but got fresh 1 no probs then tonight waited an hour for pizza and it's just warm FFS ate as wasn't waiting another hour for fresh looks like need to find new place not happy

My Son and I eat here. We had a 3-course meal for under £20 each. Lovely food. Infact, one the best veggie pizzas I've ever had. Staff were friendly and attentive, but one felt that they could have done with another pair of hands.

Went here for Birthday. Wonderful food, Staff and atmosphere. Definitely will come again, even when not a special occasion.

Soy una pizza obsesiva. Tengo tres hornos en casa. Este lugar supera las cadenas del Reino Unido en una pulpa. El ambiente es genuinamente italiano. Sin pretensiones y amigable. El servicio es de primer nivel. Normalmente solo hago críticas cuando quiero advertir sobre algo malo. . . Esto es lo contrario. Gran lugar. Un oasis en medio de tantos restaurantes estériles y carentes de personalidad en Londres. ¡Increíble!
