Well this place closed up last year 2021, so there is no food, no drinks, No menu, no phone, its been sold off and long gone, so better to go somewhere else as you can't go here

Really tasty food and great service, what more could you ask for and all for a reasonable price too. Well worth checking out

Excellent stop for coffee and a sandwich, lots of staff serving, very good pannie and tea cakes well worth a stop if you are in the area

We went here with friends last night. This was our first time, the food was superb and the staff friendly and fun. Would definitelt recommend going here and we will definitely be going back. Thank you for a wonderful evening

This is my second review and my 5th visit to this wonderfully authentic restaurant. So lucky to have it round the corner from home and knocks spots off other Leigh Italians. The is no doubt everything is prepared fresh and ingredients sourced locally. I have been trying something different each visit and I’m never disappointed. Last night I had the prawns in white wine and garlic to start (incredible) and penne alla Dino (excellent) and shared a dessert with my son of profiteroles…which are the best I have had locally. Son and hubby had meatballs (fabulous) lamb cutlets (superb) steak (excellent) and garlic bread (always good) Brilliant atmosphere, amazing service and ridiculously reasonable price wise - thank you again for a great night Tarantino’s, our sixth visit is on the cards! X

Decided to visit after a recommendation and several articles on Facebook. What a find. It was early evening on a Tuesday and although the restaurant wasn't at all busy, it didn't feel uncomfortable. The owner was attentive without being intrusive and very friendly. The food was perfection. The tempura batter was light and crispy and the cheesy mushroom starter really tasty. The garlic bread was crispy and piping hot. It was difficult to pick a main from the extensive and authentic Italian menu and we decided on a carbonara and a lamb cutlet dish in a beautiful sauce. Beautifully cooked and nicely presented. Dessert looked stunning and the taste matched the presentation. Will definitely revist to work our way through more of the menu. A great find and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you.

This review is based on a delivery not eating in. I have to say it was probably the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The topping was a congealed mass of ham. Artichoke and cheese with olives. Barely warm just awful. I have eaten in the one in Brentwood and enjoyed the food very much. This was awful

Visited with family for a birthday, food was absolutely fantastic, service even better, friendly, welcoming, ask about the specials, lobster linguine to die for. If you have never been this is a must try.

Absolutely amazing food, family owned and both owners work in the restaurant. Truly fabulous food, fresh and top quality ingredients. We went for a date night and had 3 courses, beer, wine and olives all for a shade over £50. This will now be our go-to Italian restaurant! A*** please try Tarantino you will not be disappointed!

Always go to Cucina in Leigh for friends night out, but wanted to try Tarantino’s as it had good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was first class, the red wine (Negresco) recommended by the restaurant was gorgeous and the food was superb. This restaurant in the Broadway would be fully booked every night, but please give it a try as like us you will realise it’s a little gem and well worth its rating. Fully recommend the seafood and Lobster Linguini.

Party of 9 with two children - good menu for all and the food and presentation was excellent. But the best part was the personal service from Dino himself, nothing was too much trouble and made the whole birthday evening enjoyable for all, including the children - will definitely return for sure. been recommended to us by some friends of ours and we’re so glad that we came!!! for starters we all shared a lovely garlic bread and some tempura prawns with crab claws. I must say that the presentation was spectacular and the food itself was to die for! for mains i had the rib-eye, while my two daughters had the sea bass and we were so impressed. overall had an amazing time here at Tarantinos and would definitely recommend! we will definitely be coming back! Compliments to the chef and waiters!

The food here was absolutely delicious, and we were given great sized portions. We were served by incredibly friendly, efficient and helpful staff, creating a relaxing atmosphere. They also had outdoor seating, so on a warm evening it had a lovely holiday vibe. Ticked all the boxes!

My husband and i met up with some friends and all i can say is that we were all so impressed with the night that we had at Tarantino. The food was immaculate, the service was impressive and the night overall was one to remember. For starters we had 2 plates of muscles with a garlic bread on the side and shared it all. The muscles were served with white wine and garlic and the sauce was absolutely delicious! I had the linguine lobster tail for mains and my husband had a lovely seabass. It was honestly the best dish i had tasted in a while! We were so impressed with our meals and will be visiting Tarantino very soon!

We dined here with friends. It was a Tuesday evening so fairly quiet. The food was lovely, especially the very large scallops! Everything was cooked well and there was a good choice on the menu. Our waiter, Kris, was professional, efficient and friendly. Next time we're back in Leigh on Sea, we'll definitely be dining here again.

Passed by with my family and decided to stop by. We had such a great night! My ribeye was amazing and my wife had the monk fish which was fantastic. The atmosphere was great, waiters were lovely and provided great service and was very welcoming. Definitely will come again and recommend to anyone who loves italian!!!

My son and daughter-in-law took us to this lovely little restaurant on the London Road in Leigh-on-Sea where the welcome is very warm and friendly. A relatively informal setting made for a relaxed Sunday afternoon meal. The food was good and reasonably priced. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We were not really aware of this restaurant before our recent visit, but we will certainly be going back before long.p

Phoned up and booked a Tuesday evening table for our wedding anniversary. A very nice lady took the booking. Greeted at the door when we arrived and given a choice of tables. Restaurant was very clean and nicely laid out. Menus were there very quickly and drinks order taken, Italian Merlot, very nice. A good selection of dishes on the menu, together with 3 course lunchtime and evening set meals. Starters were there with very little delay, very tasty. Main meal followed with an acceptable pause, but at no time were we pressurised. Everything flowed very evenly. A nice chat with the owner and we were on our way. The food, the service, all in all, a very pleasant evening. We will certainly be back.

Treated to a 'Father's Day' lunch at Tarantino. Our second family visit to this restaurant and most enjoyable. Very good food, pleasant surroundings and excellent service.

Had a fantastic three course meal and wine. Food is presented very well and cooked to perfection. The prices are slightly higher than other restaurants in the Leigh-on-Sea area especially Italians, so time will tell if they price themselves out of the area. Downside. specials are not written up anywhere, just told what they are but not the price. I would prefer either small blackboard to be presented on the table with the description and price for each special and also the deserts or a printed list. I like to know what the cost is of each item and look at the descriptions before I finally order and I found this a bit off putting. Normal starters and mains are on the menu.(No deserts). I will go back again and then see if they have rad and acted upon my review. Food is fantastic and please keep up the good work. If possible a downstairs toilet would help with people with mobility issues didn't see any signs for this. Toilets are upstairs.

We are regular customers from Hornchurch, we decided to drive to Leigh for a meal to Tarantino. It was a fantastic decision!! Lovely meal, attentive waitress _ses, thank you for a pleasant Saturday night.

This is our sixth time at Tarantino, and each time our food has been very very good! I usually have the calamari for starters and penne arrabbiata for mains - each time it’s been constantly authentic and true to what I eaten over 9 years of travelling around Southern Italy, i.e. tasty and delicious with just the right amount of chilli kick to it - while the classic Tiramisu desert has always been very very good.

We kept meaning to visit Tarantinos as it’s so close to our home and keen to support new local restaurants. We finally paid a visit early Friday evening with our young daughter and had a lovely meal. The burrata and anti pasta starters were delicious as was my prawn and scallop linguine. The staff were excellent, attentive and very pleasant. We had a lovely evening - so much so we returned for take away pizza the next night! Really pleased to have such a good addition to the London road.

Been here many times now(reviewed twice), each time don't feel as good as the first, its good, but not 'Wow' good,, bread keeps changing, the flavours not as strong on dishes, this time round the Pizza's really don't match the Menu, NO fresh basil on the Pizza when the description says so, the Daviola really no chilly and theres not even the a hint of hot chilly or garlic as the description claims, cheese lacking on each, (see photos)the Calamari and courgette fritters really a bit boring,Halibut was great, but at almost £20 a chunk it should be, not too excited about returning soon, no wow factor like the first visits, maybe in the summer months will try again

Highly recommended. They have even cared to place some lovely planters filled with plants outside which makes it even more inviting and helps beautify an area all year round.

I am so pleased this place opened, not just as it’s only up the road from me but because it is fantastic. Food is excellent and authentic, above all fresh. Staff are lovely and ambience great. Cucina used to be my go to but I stopped when quality and freshness went down - so double glad there’s a local Italian that is worth visiting again... and again...and again

So lucky to have this restaurant open only a stones throw away I have visited 5 times since it opened and i have tried something different each time and so far all that i have tried has been very nicely cooked, flavourful and accompanied by friendly service.

I went to Tarantino for my birthday with a couple of friends. Absolutely loved it! The staff welcomed us all warmly and were very friendly. The food overall was amazing, I had the ribs for starter which was my favourite!!!! Towards the end of the night, the old man sang me happy birthday and got the whole restaurant to join in! Quite frankly it was very embarrassing but I greatly appreciated the kind gesture. Overall you can tell that this is an authentic italian restaurant and is very family friendly. Will definitely be returning soon! Many thanks to all!

Friendly staff were the best thing about this restaurant. Most of the food appeared to be from the freezer and by whom it was cooked who knows. Bothmy courses tasted the same, that being pumped full of water and covered in a spicy tomato sauce. Shame, as staff good and decent wine but not Italian by any stretch of the imagination.

Visited in a Saturday night. Warm welcome. Not particularly busy but I’m lead to believe that it’s best to book a table. Excellent food and service. Lovely house wines. Would thoroughly recommend

Visited last night with my boyfriend. Had such an amazing night!!! For starters we had a garlic bread with cheese to share and a side of calamari. For mains I had the delicious salmon which melted amazingly in my mouth and was very delicious!!! My boyfriend had the steak and said that it cut very easily and was very soft. We were served by a lovely lady called Mireia and she made sure that everything was okay and that we had everything we wanted. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was amazing!!! Definitely very family friendly and will definitely be coming back in the future! Thank you all to the Tarantino staff!

Couple of visits to Tarantino, service is great, busy Saturdays adds to the ambiance, the calzone is massive, just managed to finish it, only 2 options of fillings, a 3rd one would be nice, spicy meats maybe, as always the warm bread and olives are a must, seafood risotto not as powerful and the Gamberoni with rice main we had first time round, all good, its on our list of good places to eat, reasonable pricing.

We had been toying with the idea of visiting Tarantino after its predecessor Simply Blues closed. Being an Italian was a positive and being so close to home was amazing.

We had seen this restaurant open a few months back near to where we live and have just got round to going there for dinner. Wow!!

We heard for this place from friends who visited and decided to go and have a try. Absolutely loved it!!! Since we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and our coats were taken by the waiter. As we were 5 of us, we were given the big round table near the windows, which was great! The food arrived very quick and it was amazing! Perfectly cooked and with a great taste!

Lovely busy Saturday evening!! We just arrived home after a pleasent night out, very very nice meal, fantastic service & atmosphere

Staff were very welcoming and the dining room had a good atmosphere. We were a party of two couples and sat down at 8pm. We waited an hour for our starter which was 2 cold meat platters. Then a further 40 mins for our mains - lobster ravioli, lobster linguini and chicken bolognese. The food was no better than Tesco ready meals. Plates were cold and service very slow.

What a gem of a find! Visited with friends on a Friday night and we all had a great time in there! From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly!The food was was absolutely delicious! Well presented and generous portions. I had a Funghi Ripieni starter and the Vitello Alla Parmigiana for main was absolutely the TOP! For dessert I tried there homemade Tiramisu and tasted just like in Italy! Fabulous!! Highly recommended!

Wanted to try here since it was opened recently. Nice friendly service and enjoyed the food, good standard and quality ingredients, could have had a little more garlic (my preference)..well presented. Prices were reasonable. However we were seated opposite the door... very draffty, also seated next to 2 families, one was ok the other were Italian... very arrogant family, kids playing a loud electronic game and the mother was Skyping someone at the dinner table until her meal arrived. I can guess the owner did not intervene as they where Italian. He should have considered this before seating us but I think he didn’t want to lose a table for 4. I will try this place again but will insist on a better table. I would like to hear the owners views. Shame could have been so much better

It was very quiet when we came, but that didn’t matter too much as the staff were really friendly and welcoming and gave it a good atmosphere. Very friendly.

Having visited another restaurant under the same ownership we were delighted that this was opening nearer to home. The newly decorated premises are well presented and the welcome from the staff including a very hands on owner is a delight. The menu is varied and should have something for all tastes. Reasonably priced for the quality. The traditional Sunday roast lunch is also very good.

Italians and Turkish are the big hits of 2018, Some Italian Restaurants run and owned by Italians, and Some Italians run and owned by Turkish people, Tarantino is 100% Italian, the real thing, very nice friendly service, all new decor, nice menu, Peroni on tap (£5.50 a pint), the bread and olives are superb priced at £2.95, real nice warm bread, starters baked mushrooms and some glorious ribs, yes ribs, you don't see these on other menu's, these are fall off the bone meat in a superb oriental/orange style sticky sauce, (£7.50), could have a large plate full no problem.

This restaurant is just lovely, great food, great setting & very friendly, helpful owner & staff, they were very obliging, we will be going back with our friends in near future.

We been invited by friends to this fantastic place. As you arrived, you welcome with the staff which make you very welcome to an unique decor, clean fresh, calm. Food was very good, enjoy a lot mussels and my sea bass was perfect. I couldn't reach to dessert but, ... I will be back for more. Only I can said it was a perfect evening. Thanks & good luck

We were their second customers on opening night. No mixups, great service and delicious food. It was absolutely superb. They didn't have the wine we wanted but the replacement suggested was gorgeous. This is absolutely worth a visit.

Tried out Tarantino for the first time this evening with friends. The restaurant has been renovated beautifully and has a really good atmosphere. The service we received was excellent throughout the meal. As for the food we really enjoyed everything we ordered. I had mussels to start which were excellent quality and cooked to perfection. My Veal Milanese was very good, an excellent portion well cooked. A new addition to Leigh on Sea which I am sure will prove very popular and we most definitely will be returning.
