The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Very nice steak house and grill, me and my partner both had steaks and they were cooked very well, seasoned great and tasty, deffo recommend!

Received a telling off for being 30 mins late. EXCEPT we weren't as we'd phoned the day before and were told showing at 18.15 not 17.45 was fine as long as we were out by 19.45. The greeter gave us a dressing down and told us we'd have to be gone for 7.30. The stopwatch was on didn't make for a relaxing dinner. My 6th and last visit !

We have eaten here a few times over the years when visiting relatives in the area. They are now about to move and from previous experience, we chose La Lupa to have one of our last meals in Poole. While the advertised opening hours were quite late, like many restaurants these days La Lupa would appear to have taken most of their covers earlier, and we arrived as most people were finishing their meals. We hadn't booked, but we were warmly welcomed and our lovely waiter cheerfully took our order. Although we only had a main course, we were the last to leave. While we were finishing our food the staff were sitting chatting at a table in the restaurant. In no way did we feel under pressure to pay and go so they could close for the night. My husband and I both chose from the Classic Menu - Risotto con funghi and Risotto con gamberi e zucchine and our meals were cooked to perfection. I often think that with food of this nature the amount in the bowl isn't going to sate my appetite, but this was definitely not the case at La Lupa. Both meals were plentiful and tasty. Thoroughly recommended and probably advisable to book.

I booked this for my mother's 98 Birthday and it was amazing food, service and the care that they gave my mum was outstanding.

True Italian Restaurant with good prices and authentic food

Great little Italian restaurant which serves fab food and drinks, they also do a great Sunday roast , the staff are always welcoming. They also have outside seating for those warmer days.

Came here yesterday evening to celebrate my partners birthday. The food was absolutely excellent and service top notch. This really is a bit of a hidden gem along Poole Quay. Our waitresses couldn’t have done enough for us. Thank you for making our night so enjoyable!
