The best restaurants serving Irish food in Northern Ireland

Tonn Ruray has very quickly become our favourite spot for a chill wee date day. 🥰  In the gorgeous town of Dundrum, it is literally the epitome of simple food done exceptionally well. The staff are impeccable, there is never a long wait and the food is very presented, hot and extremely tasty!  I would highly recommend Tonn Ruray, and have done to all of our friends and family. Simply can't sing their praises highly enough! The dark haired girl (sorry I didn't get her name) is so pleasant and helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble.  A down to earth, comfortable environment with great local, high quality food. The traybakes are as well 🤤 especially the caramel squares. Can't wait to call in again. Thanks for the great food, and service!

Excelente comida, servicio, relación calidad-precio. El personal es fantástico, recargas para el té y el café tanto como quieras. Cocine los alimentos como usted solicita, ninguna petición es un problema. Mi nueva opción, cuando no estoy cocinando la mía.

Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Lovely menu with a good choice for all and friendly staff. Bonus for the kids that there’s a tractor climbing frame outside to play on! We visit quite often and highly recommend.

Having failed to eat in another quite well known establishment just down the road (far too long a wait) this place was a very welcome pit stop for my family. There was a very friendly lady from Preston serving us, a delicious curry slice (!) and other light lunch food. Nothing sophisticated but very welcome nonetheless! Recommended.

Excellent wee spot. lovely friendly staff. Very clean. Daughter has special dietary requirements,couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. Will definatly be back.

Enjoyed by all the family. The kids enjoyed a pancake stock and a kids breakfast. The vegetarian halloumi pasta was excellent and the bagel was really good too. It was good value and the flavors were delicious and the ingredients were fresh. This service was friendly and helpful . It took a little while but was well worth the wait . We'll be back soon.

I was passing through Aughnacloy last Sunday evening and spied Fran and D's takeaway so decided to stop for something to eat......lovely friendly staff....fast efficient service....amazing chips, super duper onion rings and delicious milkshakes.....the portion sizes were extremely generous and prices were really inexpensive.....if you are ever in Aughnacloy definitely treat yourself to whatever you fancy.....I can guarantee you won't be disappointed.....thank you Fran and D....xo

Had a quick cider on a lovely sunny afternoon which was lovely, such a nice spot and such friendly staff. Shout out to Stuart who was so friendly with good banter 😊

Atroz sobre todo. Cortes baratos de carnes que se nos presentan como costillas (tontería de Deane para comprometer la calidad y piensa que el cliente no conoce mejor) Personal grosero y frío (eso es de esperar cuando conozcas al gerente) ¡no es un líder, eso es seguro! El gerente más arrogante y grosero que hemos encontrado en cualquier restaurante (él ha estado allí un tiempo, así que te dice que Deane & Co. no están invertidos en sus clientes, sus comentarios o buena comida sobre el personal agresivo! Imagínate ir a pagar por comer a un restaurante y ser humillado por un hombre arrogante y estábamos pagando la cuenta y dejamos propina (más nos engañan) Gerente empezando a discutir con nosotros cuando dimos su opinión sobre la calidad de algunos de los filetes que nos sirvieron entre muchos otros hipos durante nuestro servicio de cena Los lados eran promedio. Promedio de vino y sobre precio. En general nos quedamos sin el lugar aliviados de no tener que ser sometidos nunca más a ese abuso

Food mediocre for me - massive portions as per the standard Northern Ireland way. Veggie stir fry bit bland , rice bit basic. Aunt said her baked potato was a bit meh. Service good nice and tidy

Very busy on a weekend night and fully expected it to be, but it was a little annoying having to wait 25 minutes only to realize that one of the staff had put down the wrong name for my order; staff could do better for listening to names for orders
