Called in during a day visit to the North Coast. Sat outside and after a short time a waitress took our order: Glass of wine and a pint of Forged Irish Stout, two avocado and spinach burgers with nacho sauce, cranberry/rocket/seeded bap and MSQ fries. looked good and well presented BUT burger was cold and tasteless, skinny chips were okay but barely warm. Bill for food and drinks: glass of wine £6,forged Irish Stout £6 two burgers and chips £28. Drink was no more expensive that anywhere else but £28 FOR TWO VEGAN BURGER AND CHIPS, SERVED UP COLD AND TASTLESS not a good advertisement for any resturant. I'm assuming these were TOURIST PRICES and our fault for not leaving when we seen the prices! One positive I can say, was that the staff were very efficient, attentive, and pleasant and not their fault the food was awful. . Saying that, the food being served up to the non vegans around us, looked delicious.

We had a fantastic roast beef dinner here, with Yorkies and will definitely be back. Wonderful service in a privileged setting

Second visit to this restaurant this summer, and will be back again, hopefully. First time I visited I had the Roast Hake which was as good a dish as any top restaurant I’ve been to…and way less expensive! My second visit tonight I had the Louisiana Chicken which was so good and again, the chef’s on top of his game. We were a table of six, and the staff were great, welcoming and the food came to the table all together. As a BYOB they need to charge a higher corkage. Meals are way too cheap, and a 10% increase in menu prices would not be out of line.

I visited the cafe carnfunnock and had some really tasty food and a coffee. Was really impressed by the standard of coffee and service by Niamh, very friendly and made a top class cappacino. Will be back very soon.

Excellent cafe/restaurant it’s a wee hidden gem of a place, food is so nice and a great range of gluten free food including tacos and lovely deserts. Staff are so nice and I will definitely visit again soon.

Absolutely stunning location for a really special break and first-class friendly staff. We enjoyed the spa. It was a little crowded on the weekend days, but not unpleasantly, so - there was still space in the hot tubs and saunas. We booked a private riverside hot tub for an hour, and I would absolutely recommend that. Sitting watching a heron fishing in the river while drinking a cocktail is really very cool. I would really recommend visiting on a weekday, though, to get the most. The spa cafe (Elements) is lovely, and the cake was delicious. There are enough different saunas and sitting areas, and hot tuns and pools that it is easy to spend a few hours a day in there and not get bored. We also had a golf lesson with Barry, and he was absolutely fantastic - really helpful and insightful and definitely improved both of our games. The TopTracer driving range is brilliant fun - if you have never used one before, it transforms your time at the range - definitely worth some time. The restaurants are very good, not quite gourmet, but good food, clearly carefully prepared and well presented. It's mostly simple but quite delicious. The highlight for us was the steak at the Castle (restaurant at the golf course). One criticism would be the wine selections - unless you want to drink an entire bottle, the selection is a bit uninspiring. The room was comfortable and clean, we had a river view, which i would definitely recommend the upgrade for. Unfortunately our shower drain wasn't very effective and there was a very slight damp smell in the bathroom. The final recommendation would have to be the afternoon tea - especially if you have a sweet tooth. The savoury items were much more creatively thought out than your standard finger sandwiches and the cakes were a delight. My only criticism was the balance, I could have done with one or two less cakes and one or two more savouries- but then I suppose an afternoon tea isn't supposed to be about the savouries. Overall- if you are looking for somewhere to take someone special I can't recommend it enough.

The best little port on a cold wet day. We visited Ballintoy on a typically dreary day and the cafe was so cosy warm and welcoming. Staff are wonderful, coffee was fabulous and the cakes were out of this world. Since great views too. Highly recommend!

Great hotel in a small town. Building is across the coastline, close to the cliff view. Rooms were great and bathroom large and modern. We had dinner and breakfast - service was excellent - very pleasant staff. Loved it.

waited 1 hour for a flipping personal pizza and then they told me after asking 6 times that it wasn’t put through only for me to have to wait another 30 minutes and no apology or nothing. shambles. Some unc rolling dough was also shouting expletives to his other workers acting as if he was doing much

I recently had my 50th birthday party at Moyola Park Golf Club and the catering was provided by the on-site restaurant Seventy 7. We had a buffet and the food was first class, everyone complemented on how good is was and there was plenty of it. The staff were very helpful and nothing was a bother. Would definitely recommend 💯%
