I met up with my mum for lunch and she said that she fancied bacon and sausage, we usually head to Wetherspoons as our default but I suggested this place. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff add great food. My mum was very impressed and said that we will have to do it again when we have the chance.

I heart this place so much. The owner is a local legend who is enthusiastic about his shop. The cheeses are fab and there is a wide selection. The crackers, salamis and olives are top drawer and this is my go to local deli. There is a great brew pub next door if you are into your brews and it makes a nice 4pm round trip

I am lucky enough to work a few doors away and spotted this converted shop as soon as it opened. Service is friendly and excellent - the staff can turn multiple orders at once and deliver drinks to tables when they can. They also ‘roam’ the tables and barrels taking orders. Guinness is excellent - I imagine 80% of drinks sold are the black stuff. Decor is basic but works, lots of places to sit / stand a rest a pint.

Housed in the magnificent Grand Central Hall Building along Renshaw Street is The Irish Village, a group of four pubs showcasing all that's good about the emerald isle, we recently visited Nelly Foley's Pub in the Irish Village and had a great time. The pub looks superb, pubby decor and furnishings, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls and ceiling you would expect to find in a good Irish pub, staff here were super, so warm and welcoming, guinness was perfect and iced cold ,with the magnificent success of the vaccines all restrictions come down on the 19th of July so this pub and The Irish Village complex will be bouncing even more ,if your in the area or planning to visit Liverpool I highly recommend you visit here ,The Irish Village is easy to locate along Renshaw Street.

Dodgy beer and a gropy landlord. Awful kareoke sang all night, and insensitive jokes made all night. Great night out.

Had lunch here which was special experience. Food quality was excellent and wine list extensive. Daniel made the experience even more enjoyable with his interaction and explanation of the different dishes. Would highly recommend this restaurant

Just had the monster sharing roast with my Mum having a fried chicken small plate with side order of fries. The roast comes in a giant Yorkshire pudding, with 3 different meats. This is a substantial meal, and was excellent. Mum enjoyed her chicken too. Service was great, despite it being very busy, with just 2 staff on duty. Nice to see a busy pub.
