The best restaurants serving Indian food in South Wales

Had two recent takeaways. Delicious curries, Ace flavour profiles....

Very expensive Indian food. Staff need to be happier proper miserable. Smile 😊. The food was beautiful and very enjoyable indeed. Place is dated needs a good upgrade.

95% was very good and generous portions. The biriani was described as "medium " but the regular hot curry eater of the house (whilst enjoying it) actually found himself sweating profusely. Unfortunately the samosa in the snack box was put right at the bottom under all the meat & bhajis which meant all the juices soaked into it. By the time we found it, it was samosa soup!

My husband loves this place and he's had currys all over the world .he thinks it s great he likes it hot. He orders 2 mixes them snd freezes the rest for another night.. he's curry mad.

Really disappointed. This WAS one of our favourite local sit downs as its only a few minutes walk from us and use it regularly. Went un tonight to find it has new owners. They don't serve any alcohol at all, we were told that we could go to the shop and bring our own in but its not the same. Nothing like a cold pint of cobra with your food as it was. We won't be using Tamarind Maindee again. I think your clientel list will drop rapidly. Such a Shame as we've had many a birthday party here 😔😪

All the food are so nice but I mostly order chicken tikka, it is just wowwww and I love their service on time delivery 😊

The biryani was delicious, and the customer service was excellent. Friendly and chatty staff. A lovely blend of spices and well cooked tandoori chicken, Marsala sauce was a delicious complement to the rice plus I had free poppadoms. Generous portions too. I recommend their Chicken tandoori Biryani. Thanks Bengal, see you soon.

I will always give a good review as this is my favourite Indian, however, today rhe chips were hard, and the naan bread was burnt, in edible. Spoilt the meal 😞

The best curry takeaway in Cardiff. We ordered a lot from here then we moved away , other curry house just did not compare. The staff here also are super friendly

The Best Indian Takeaway with a Delivery service in Bridgend!! Always Delicious Tasty Authentic Indian Curries ,Rice, Side dishes & Nan breads! A customer for many Years... I've tried others yet Bridgend Balti definitely the Best 😋😋

Last minute visit due to original restaurant booked being too busy for us! Super attentive staff, fabulous food, the chutney tray is deserving of a special mention. I went for the Lahore special balti which was delicious and the meat was so tender and flavoursome. You can also upgrade the plain naan accompaniment to another one like peshwari or keema. Would highly recommend, I'd suggest booking in advance as it can get busy.

Excellent Indian Cuisine. Wonderful experience food second to none once again. They give you so much attention. Makes such a lovely experience.
