Really disappointed with the food tonight. Collected chicken tikka massala and korma. Had to wait a bit but no big deal but food really poor, very watery

Very very slow to deliver takeaway order. 2 hours to deliver within 3 miles. Food OK but not worth the wait. Ordered at 650.pm 2050pm still not arrived.

I'm from Birmingham working in Cardiff as we all no birmingham is well known for a good ruby Murray.............. this curry place is well worth the money absolutely spot on hot food very very tasty all round excellent 10/10 cheers for the excellent food 😀

Despite a change in weather the delivery driver went above and beyond to get it to us and the food was stunning ( as always )

The meal arrived and I found it to be very hot and also tasty. This is the 2nd time I have ordered from here and both times the food was great! Given the time of year I can understand the food being late. Thanks for a lovely curry.

We did have to wait quite abit for delivery and if food had arrived and was rubbish would of ruined the night. But it was absolutely worth the wait absolutely amazing meals we had 3 different dishes with sides can't find a single fault. 10/10

Ordered at 18:54, food arrived at 21:23. Food was cold, popadom in 1000 pieces and rice like mush. Don’t u dare say u was busy for 2 and half hour being late, if you can’t offer 5 star service, then stop accepting orders or better still close. Just eat given a 4:40 refund, just waiting for the restaurant to reply as the food is only fit for the bin. Definitely won’t recommend or order again even if the food was free

Delivery time was perfect tonight (not been great the last couple of times) food was incredible as always (never have complaints there!) one suggestion though, can the chicken Chaat be served in a Tupperware container like the curries? The oil goes everywhere in the bag otherwise! 10/10 though, will order again!

Delivery time at start was almost 2hrs tbf but still 10 mins late. Dhansak was just so so greasy and tasted like the spices had not cooked out properly and had been added at the last minute. Won’t order from here again. Waste of money.

food was lovely, really liked the spicy chips and it was all warm. all plates empty for the first time in a while. will definitely order again. 👍🏻

Ordered for collection for a specific time - order was ready on time. Man in store was quick to hand us our food. Great experience through ordering and collection. Good nice and hot with lots of flavour. Good portion of onion bhajis but chicken pakora starter is more batter than chicken. The pieces of chicken are minute compared to the batter surrounding it.

My order arrived 2 hours late, I ordered 3 items and I only live 2 streets away! I contacted the store and all they said was they’re busy. The food was decent but nothing special. Wouldn’t order from here again

Food was absolutely stunning and piping hot. Instructions were followed which made it more enjoyable, only downside was that it said my order was delivered when it was, which forced me to chase it up with just eat, but food was amazing

we are missing a cauliflower baji and tikka sauce was spilt on the plastic delivery bag. spoke to the restaurant and they will refund through just eat

Drink was forgotten a brought 10 minutes after the food, curry was like water, keema naan had hardly no meat in. For the money it definitely was not worth it.

We were told our food would be between 20:25 - 20:45. Not only was it 30minutes late. The onion bajis were burnt to a crisp and the chips were stone cold and sweaty. We have had a few from here before so we were even more disappointed with what we ended up with.

Best curry take out in Caerphilly by a mile. Been going here over a year now and it never fails to be delicious.

Vegetable jalfrezi was unrecognisable in flavour, to the point we did not eat any of it. You could tasted the paste in the Lamb Balti which was like making a gravy without cooking out the flour. Delivered plain nam instead of garlic nam bread. Overall very bad experience.

3rd time we have ordered and it is just as good as the first time. We were recommended this place and we are not disappointed. Will definitely order from here again.

We always order from here but sadly weve noticed a trend of the last couple of orders our food is drenched in the oil. We are having to drain the containers of excess oil in the sink before plating up, as well as it absolutely covering the kitchen worktop and our hands. Sometimes the food from here can be great which leads me to believe we may be ordering on a nights where a different chef is in the kitchen but the amount of oil that’s in our food this time is absolutely gross and needs to be addressed.

First time I have been to the spice hut. I have visited before under the previous owners and had a different name.The staff were very polite and the food was absolutely delicious. I asked for a lamb phal and a chicken Korma. The phal was absolutely delicious very hot and full of flavour. Infact, probably the best curry I've had in a while. My son really enjoyed his Korma too. Will definitely be back. Thank you guys 😋

The food is always top quality here best Indian in Caerphilly. My only complaint is that my onion bhajis were missing, won’t stop me from ordering again though

Food is always good, but tonight was something else. It was 20 mins late but that was more than made up for by the quality. I think I tried half of the Indians in south wales before finally finding spice hut. It’s the only one I’ll order from now. Keep up the good work!

Firstly want to say yes the delivery times are always long, but don't worry about it - they cook accordingly and my food has always arrived hot, even when waiting 1-2 hours! It's a kick in the teeth when you're starving I know but it's honestly worth the wait, best onion bhajis I've EVER tried and the chicken korma is always generous with the chicken. The naan is always huge too, easily enough for 2 people, could even split it between 3 really.

The food was amazing, had a nice spicy kick and was plenty hot enough in both senses. Tried a couple of items I hadn't seen in other takeaways and wasn't disappointed. Only problem is the delivery time which was close to two hours (Only a little bit longer than estimated). If it wasn't that long I think I would be adding this to my regular takeaway lists.

We have had 2 takeaways from here and on both occasions our meals have been fantastic, they arrive piping hot and they are very very tasty, this is our new go to indian as it is amazing.

We rang up and they said it was being packed up.. but arrived hot and was so yummy

Ordered for collection said it would be ready by 9.25 was still waiting at 9:40 for the order ? Confused why a collection took so long. Other than that the food was lovely.

Used this Indian takeaway 4 times. Last 3 times the food has been beautiful, and this time was too, but home delivery was a nightmare. Usually comes well before the agreed time on the app order page, but from order to delivery took 2 hours last night, and the shop is a 5 minute drive away. Kept being fobbed off with ‘it’s on its way’ which clearly it wasn’t. Won’t be ordering here any more as delivery is important with disability, but if I do ever use again I’ll be collecting. So if your collecting, order as the food is delicious and authentic, but delivery, I wouldn’t bother.

First time ordering and was very disappointed with the delivery time. It took over 2 hours for the food to arrive... BUT when it did arrive, it was hot and absolutely amazing! I can forgive the very late delivery time, because the food was delicious. I have lived in Caerphilly for 10 years and have never been satisfied with the food from the other Indian takeaways, so I am really happy to have finally found Spice Hut, because I have really missed having an Indian takeaway that delivers hot, quality, and delicious food. Perfect!

Never had a bad meal from here. If you’re ordering at a busier time, it’s worth collecting from the restaurant to get the hottest food although I’ve never had issue with delivery either 10/10
