Spice Hut in Caerphilly

Onion bargees grease, curry was bitter to taste and the meat in the curry was not fresh.

Delicious curry sauces, sides were very nice, starters were fresh, not greasy and so tasty. Will definitely order from here again next time.

First time I have been to the spice hut. I have visited before under the previous owners and had a different name.The staff were very polite and the food was absolutely delicious. I asked for a lamb phal and a chicken Korma. The phal was absolutely delicious very hot and full of flavour. Infact, probably the best curry I've had in a while. My son really enjoyed his Korma too. Will definitely be back. Thank you guys 😋

We have had 2 takeaways from here and on both occasions our meals have been fantastic, they arrive piping hot and they are very very tasty, this is our new go to indian as it is amazing.

Used this Indian takeaway 4 times. Last 3 times the food has been beautiful, and this time was too, but home delivery was a nightmare. Usually comes well before the agreed time on the app order page, but from order to delivery took 2 hours last night, and the shop is a 5 minute drive away. Kept being fobbed off with ‘it’s on its way’ which clearly it wasn’t. Won’t be ordering here any more as delivery is important with disability, but if I do ever use again I’ll be collecting. So if your collecting, order as the food is delicious and authentic, but delivery, I wouldn’t bother.

First time ordering and was very disappointed with the delivery time. It took over 2 hours for the food to arrive... BUT when it did arrive, it was hot and absolutely amazing! I can forgive the very late delivery time, because the food was delicious. I have lived in Caerphilly for 10 years and have never been satisfied with the food from the other Indian takeaways, so I am really happy to have finally found Spice Hut, because I have really missed having an Indian takeaway that delivers hot, quality, and delicious food. Perfect!

Never had a bad meal from here. If you’re ordering at a busier time, it’s worth collecting from the restaurant to get the hottest food although I’ve never had issue with delivery either 10/10

Hour and a half for delivery. Garlic rice was bland and basically just boiled rice, whilst the "medium" curry we ordered was so overly spicy we could barely eat it. We avoided the hot and very hot curry's for this reason, but the chef clearly messed this one up. The 2 side orders were decent enough, but overall not nearly worth the £25 it cost! If we were sat in a restaurant, some of this food would've been sent back for sure. Plenty of better Indians in the same area, avoid this one, or at least the chef who works a Sunday!

2nd time weve had food from The Spice Hut and it was just as amazing as the 1st time. We had a House special Biriyani with plain Madras Sauce. Tandoori chicken starter. Onion Bharji. keema nan and potato and cauli saag aloo. Beautiful Thank you 😊

This is the best Asian/Indian food by a long mile. Fresh tasting, superior to any other establishment in Caerphilly County. You can really taste the difference here. The fresh tasting chicken is sliced into the curry dishes, the meat is tender and aromatic, you can taste the herbs and spices. Nothing is swimming in grease.I would heartily recommend!!! Keep up the good cooking!

Took a punt and so glad that we did. Our first order with Spice Hut and it certainly won't be the last. The food was amazing, chicken pieces in both our curries was great quality, we had more than enough for the two of us. Our order arrived piping hot and tasted delicious. Spice Hut is now our go to for a yummylicious curry

Good service. British Indian food but not Indian food. Biryani it is not but spicy pilau rice with chicken added afterwards. I would prefer the real thing even if it's served cold

By far the best indian takeaway in Caerphilly. Lovely staff members, food is always of high standard and generous portions. Delivery time can be a bit longer at times if they are busy but thats expected wherever you go

Friends told me about spice hut, so tried it - and will say best curry house in Caerphilly - best curry I've had for a good while and believe me I've eaten a lot up and down the country.

Shocking Food and service!! Said delivery would be 45 minutes. Called after 1hr to be told another 10-15mins, finally arrived just after 2hrs!!!! Then missing two of the items, to then be told that’s not possible. Then finally offered to deliver missing items in around 45mins……. Terrible service. To add, the quantity of Chicken in the mean was abysmal, looked like a pre-cooked packet of meat had been added. Terrible. mango Express used to be brilliant. Will never use these again.

We ordered a meal last night,(first time from the Spice Hut) its was the best Indian we have had for years, i had the chicken bhuna and it was the best bhuna ive had the container was large and filled to the brim and plenty of chicken, my wife had the malaya chicken absolutely beautiful, we also had onion bhajis which were crunchie and very tasty, also we had the chicken tikka starter also beautiful and also free papadoms. i would not have changed anything at all. As i said i cant remember a better Indian, i wont go anywhere else now. Well done Spice Hut Penyrheol Caerphilly

We stumbled upon this place by complete chance. Checked out the reviews and decided to give it a try. It's so good! We've ordered a few times and enjoyed each dish. Very flavoursome, tasty food.

Just ordered my first meal from the spice hut And i must say it was out of this world . The gentleman on the phone was so helpful and he helped me chews my meal and he got everything just right , the delivery was quick as well , i would highly recommend you give this place a try , and i promise you will go back , i know i will. WOW just WOW. After being apprehensive about ordering (based on my experience of the previous owners) finally had one tonight. Customer service was outstanding, had a free bottle of Pepsi (nice touch). The flavours in every dish were amazing, the chicken so tender, the sauces were so fresh and fragrant. My new favourite for sure.

Just order food from here absolutely lovely food would recommend it to family and friends will be ordering again 😋👌
