The best restaurants serving Indian food in Caerphilly South Wales

Been here a few times, proper cafe. Great food even nicer staff. Highly recommend this gem of a cafe

Bayleaf Indian Takeaway is by far the best establishment around. Food is always of a high standard, I usually have the Madras or Pathia but this time had a Masala sauce Madras hot (Extra Sauce) .... Total game changer . Even my family from London always makes a point of eating her when down on a visit. Can't fault the place !!!

Arrived, no reservation on the list despite email confirmation and text prior, good start to the evening, however was found a table. Next interaction was did we order a taxi after just sitting down, we had not. Total confusion and lack of communication within the staff!!!! Ordered starter and main course and then waited, confusion again and we were given starter and main course together, by the time we had eaten starter the main course was cold , poor service, underwhelmed, disappointed with the service. this was meant to be a valentine celebration meal. The food we had was good.

Food here is amazing! From the dips for Poppadoms to all the mains. A comfortable setting, clean toilets, and attentive service. Great selection of drinks also, and it's great that they have a bar next door so you can have a drink before / after your meal. There is a car park around the back also, which has 23 spaces and 2 disabled. But I live locally so I walk there. The take-away service is equally as amazing

Really enjoyed the food - Passada was very tasty and pilau rice was very flavoursome .Unfortunately the naan bread was very dry and let the meal down.Food was about half about a hour behind time quoted .

Although the food was a little late it came piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Definitely worth the wait

Really disappointed with the food tonight. Collected chicken tikka massala and korma. Had to wait a bit but no big deal but food really poor, very watery

What an amazing place, staff are incredibly polite and helpful, food is spot on, and we sat by the window looking at Caerphilly castle lit up in the night , what a lovely evening thank you rajj of India, we will be back very soon

Went to the haven last night avnt been there for a long time a new owner is taking over in the next 2 weeks and what a lovely person she is wish them all the very best and really hope she gets rid of the dead wood and brings her own team in.

Ordered online and upon collection the restaurant is closed, I’ve attempted to call and no answer, reached out via social media for a refund and I was ignored. There still advertising on Facebook as open as well…

Ordered my delivery online at 6pm , said it would be with me at 7.15 pm , rang shop at 7.15pm was told they had been very busy on delivery’s and it would be another 40 mins to an hour , absolutely shocking service will never order from here again , trying to support local business’s , can’t wait till saffron opens back up .

Daughter placed order online, order arrived with curry missing. She phoned up and they called my daughter a liar saying two people said it was in the box, it wasn't. Had to phone them back and they said that the curry was there,I told them it wasn't. I told them how annoyed I was that my daughter had been called a liar. They offered to send the missing curry out like they were doing me a favour, but I said the rest of the food would be cold by then. They said it would take 5 mins I don't know what car they are driving but I definitely live more than 5 minutes away. I said this they said no no it will be there in 5 minutes (it wasn't). Told them just to refund the missing curry but they refused. Said mistakes happen blamed a new member of staff. I can appreciate mistakes happen but am annoyed at firstly being told we were wrong and then them admitting they made a mistake, also the attitude we received. Said that they wouldn't refund, just replace the missing curry. On their own website it states if there are any issues please ring them and for a refund obviously this is not the case. So please be warned! They did send the curry but by then the rest of the food was cold. We won't be ordering from there again which is a shame as having tennagers in the house they order take out frequently. Save your money and order else where you might not be called a liar.
