Me and a couple of my friends went out in Caernarfon and wanted to eat Indian food, we decided to try out Bengal Spice and it exceeded our expectations, the staff were friendly right away when we entered the restaurant received many attention during our visit making sure everything was okay with the food etc. We all decided get a meal each and split the bill which they had no problem calculating what each person had, all in all were happy to help as much as they could. The food was amazing and so was everything else. 100% recommend!

The first occasion we used Bombay Joes, takeaway. Bahjis and pakora were so hard and overcooked. One methi dish was ok the other was tasteless. Anyway we thought we would give it another go, Tuesday September 24. Called them. They’re closed. So contrary to their menu, they’re not open 7 days a week, and they’re not closed Mondays as stated but Tuesdays. They also take cash or bank transfer only. Really totally disappointed.

Not sure why but the restaurant was not open the week we were in Dinas Dinlle which was a disappointment. Should have realised really as no reviews since 2019 and the website doesn't work.

We visited on a weekday evening. The restaurant was dead but the phone didn’t stop ringing and plenty of people coming in for a takeaway. One member of staff was working which meant that we waited more than enough time for our order to be taken. When the food came it was ok you can’t go wrong with chicken tikka masala ( for the kids) My husband had ordered a naga chicken tikka which was made spicy by adding copious amounts of tubby toms sauce (confirmed by waiter) leaving it so hot it was inedible. He likes hot food and naga is his go too, but this was ridiculously hot even for him. The bill was extortionate despite us bringing our own drinks and the fact that it is cash only is very suspicious!!
