We were fortunate to be holidaying over a lovely warm, sunny weekend and were within walking distance of The View. Beautiful evening to sit outside overlooking the marina. Very friendly bar and obviously very family and dog friendly and great atmosphere. I don't think they do food but seem to have different vendors present at times, and we very much enjoyed the delicious burgers we purchased from Best of Burgers who were there the night we visited.

Oh my, this was soooo good! Google did not steer us wrong when we chose Bangor Tandoori Restaurant. The previous reviewers are spot on. The food was incredible, the staff were super nice. The atmosphere is really lovely. 10/10, this was a great meal.

Having read a couple of recent and extremely negative reviews we wondered what to expect. What we found were charming hosts and plentiful portions of extremely well prepared dishes. If this comes out of a jar - as one person claimed - then please direct me to that store. Such a claim is nonsense and one wonders at the motives of the reviewers. Reputations are hard to earn and this restaurant does not deserve to be 'done down' in this way. PS Bring your own beer/wine and glasses and bottle openers will be provided with a friendly smile

On Saturday evening, the Sitar provided us with a magnificent vegetarian feast for a family 50th birthday party. The food, which fed 25 of us very generously, was ready bang on time, piping hot and absolutely delicious. Service was super-friendly and efficient and the price was unbelievably reasonable. These guys are just great. Gotta be one of the best Indian takeaways around.

Had the donor kebab, great portion size and presented in a freshly cooked naan instead of pitta - which was delicious.... only downside was slow service so had to queue for a while (but made use of the bar across the hall)
