Whilst in the area for a short break we had a takeaway from here, we had 5 different mains with rice and naan breads. The food was piping hot when we got it home, All the mains where gorgeous especially the lamb dishes which I would say are the best I have ever had. We all enjoyed everything we had and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Take away meal mid week was lovely. Really helpful with allergen information ready to show us as one of us can't eat gluten. Difficult to get gluten free take away so this was excellent for us. Friendly staff as always. We'll be bd back (again!).

Perfect experience every time! takeout this time but dining in is a must! Food is so much better fresh especially if you get the tandoori clay dishes. Thank you to the welsh lady for all her hard work over the years! Will be back soon x

Absolutely loved the curry we ordered from here. We are away on holiday and found this little gem. I ordered the garlic chilli chicken and I’ve got to say it was delicious. Service and the time we waited for the food after ordering was really fast. Deffo a place to go if you fancy a curry when visiting Pwllhelli. 10/10

Place is empty for a reason! Tried to order a delivery instead and 90 mins later had to phone to find out where it was. They said driver was in ‘traffic’ (in Pwllheli!) Obviously a lie so we questioned further and they said they had no driver but they never phoned to inform us.

Made a last minute booking very accommodating. We got they were welcoming from the beginning very attentive. Big up Emon my man ✊ made us feel like we belonged and made sure we were happy through out. The atmosphere was alright was quiet so it wasn't their fault but the YouTube ads after each song were annoying. Food was top quality don't be a wet wipe and head down for some top grub.

Had an amazing meal on Friday, we had the new Lamb Hotpot Massala and Chilli Chicken and both dishes were stunning. Emon was attentive and very friendly! I've only marked the atmosphere lower because it was particularly quiet that night. We would definitely recommend Spice of Pwllheli and will be coming back soon.

The spice of Pwllheli has had a refurbishment and is small but really nice. The food was the best that I have eaten there, it was excellent. All very fresh and tasty. The waiter Emon was very attentive and friendly. They are really trying to turn this place into a top class restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit. We will be visiting it again.

Apart from 1 lady member of staff the other staff were not very welcoming. Felt like we were dining in a funeral parlor. We have been to other Indian restaurants where the staff have been very welcoming but the atmosphere here was dire. The food was ok and at the top end price wise for what we had. Service I've given 5 stars but that goes to the kind lady 'only' who was kind and the only one serving us.

We ordered a curry, rice, chips and a nan. Fried chicken and chips. The curry had loads of flavor and a decent amount of chicken. The garlic nan was pretty good too. But as you can see in the picture that is not the fried chicken you would expect. Extremely disappointing and wasn't really edible. The chicken ended up being thrown and some chicken nuggets being tossed in the air frier.

Had a few different curries from Spice and can honestly say all has been delicious. Juicy chicken and thick rich sauces. Best in Pwllheli!

Worse takeaway I’ve ever had shockingly bad bright red food colouring just horrid waste of money would never use again Starters ok but that’s abit it Curry was almost crunchy with food colouring very odd , we have eaten in loads of curry houses and had takeaways we are aware of what a curry should taste like , this was horrid can’t understand why so many like it .

The food we had tonight was exactly how we like it. Big tender delicious Tandori king prawns, great chicken pakora, tasty seekh kebabs and crunchy flavoursome onion bhajis. Plenty of salad and mint sauce. We didn’t have curries but will try next time. Very good quality.

Pretty good quality. Nice poppadoms and chutney tray. Good seekh kebabs and really tasty chicken pakoras. Tandori king prawns excellent- top quality. Rice light and fluffy and subtle flavours. The star of the show is the hot pot masala main course. The flavour is really really nice. I can’t describe it. The sauce is quite dark and brown and garlicky and has hints of cinnamon and is rich and deep. It’s addictive. It has some spice. I’m surprised at negative reviews - this is as good as any other curry restaurant. Even the chapatis were fresh and light and thin and moorish. It’s inexpensive too. A lot of food for £24 ish. Maybe we had the best chef tonight.. I’m fussy and I have to say I would go back again next time I visit the area

The best takeaway in North Wales, we had a Naga Vegetables and a Dhansak. The naga was very hot and brimming with flavour, happy they didnt hold back on the spice. The Dhansak was hotter than it should have been, but we can both enjoy spice so could still taste the supreme fruitiness. The chap was very friendly and even apologetic about a 30-40min wait, which was not really long considering it was Saturday. Will be returning next time we are up north, hopefully soon.

On holiday with family. We waited 40 minutes for our takeaway, when we arrived to collect we then waited a further 40 minutes. We were a big group & ordered 9 - 10 different curry dishes. The food was very bland & not of a good quality. They got one of the dishes wrong & we ended up with an extra meat dish instead of a vegetarian dish. The king prawn curry contained a unshelled prawn which was initially bitten into. To top it all off, dispite it being an order of over £100, they still charged us for the poppadoms & they forgot to put In the extra raita. Had it not been so late, we would have returned the food. Thank goodness we weren't there for a sit down meal! I really don't ever write reviews but it was so awful I think its important to write this review so the restaurant makes some approriate changes

Without doubt the worst Indian food I have ever tasted. Ordered three different types of curry sauce and all tasted exactly the same. Bland spices, bland flavours with a sauce consistency akin to sour milk. No skill involved in producing food this bad. Please, please put the chef on a cookery course. Note I had to tick one star to post this review. It should be five blank stars. Sorry.
