Amazing quality food and lovely relaxing atmosphere with beautiful interior design. Our 1 year old was included in the experience; we enjoyed a relaxing meal with her and she had her own plastic cutlery, plate and cup provided which was a nice touch! Fresh quality spices and very tasty food. Would definitely recommend!

This is a superb restaurant serving top quality food. The stylish interior with friendly staff just make your visit feel extra special. The food is so good. All full of flavour and freshly cooked by the Chef owner. I do a lot of home cooking and appreciate the effort and time it takes to get the balance just right. This place is somewhere that I’m sure I will be coming back to time and time again.

Wow! Nomi has exceeded all of our expectations! The best curry I’ve ever had! A MUST when you’re visiting Pwllheli!! Not only the food but the service was also excellent!

Honestly, one of the best curries we have had, anywhere. I only wish we had one close to home! Very authentic Northern Indian curry, we had the butter chicken and the lamb malabar, very tasty! Not to mention the morish fennel maple (syrup) naan, went perfectly with the curries, and excellent onion bhaji. The service was excellent as well, all with a smile, lovely. If only more Indian restaurants were like this. All in all, brilliant!

What a hidden gem!!! So glad we found this place! Superb service and phenomenal food. Really unusual twists on the classics but really delivers. The service was excellent. I went in once with a friend and had a couple of starters and a beer at the bar then went in a few days later with my wife and 3 year old and they couldn't have done more for us! They even thoughtfully provided special plates, bowls and cutlery for my daughter which she loved! Really friendly and professional staff and one of the best curries I've eaten in a long time, including some high end restaurants in Manchester city centre! Well worth heading to if you are in the area. You can tell it's going to be great when it has a small menu. Everything is done to perfection.

A gem hidden away in Wales! A very unique twist on curry,I think it's a Malaysian/Indian style (apologies if I'm wrong) but could not fault anything,top quality food & service!!!

We were a large group. We ordered a variety of dishes. Every single starter and main was excellent and arrived quickly. The flavours were perfectly balanced. We ordered extra dishes partway through our meal and these too arrived in record time. Very impressed. Will certainly come here again on our next trip to Wales

Booked a table after reading some of the previous views and we wasn't disappointed.A friendly greeting as we walked into a relaxing atmosphere.The food was fantastic,flavoursome tasty and very nicely presented.Just wish we lived nearer so we could visit again.Higly recommend trying it.

A different menu here from your traditional Indian, small selection but very good food. I had the lamb rogan Josh and it was extremely nice, lamb was melt in the mouth. The wife had the mushroom in a curry sauce (I forget the name) she said it was nice but she wish she had got the lamb. Very nice staff and good decent food. Would defo visit again: thank you! 🙏🏼

Very good/authentic Indian food in North Wales

Just brilliant! Went there tonight for our anniversary. Never been before but saw the reviews were good. They weren't wrong! Excellent ambiance, service & food. Actual properly cooked Indian food, not like your normal curry restaurant. So many whole spices in there! Can't fault it and will definitely return very soon.

We had heard so many good reviews of NOMI that we just had to try it. We loved the ambience, the service and the food flavours were amazing. We ordered the poppadum tray, then had the samosa type starter follwoed by the Royal Prawn dish and the lamb dish. All of it was delicious. As someone previouls said, the drinks are on the high side and our only suggestion would be to not serve the poppadum tray at same time as the starters - we will ask for that next time, Lovely staff and we will be back for sure.

Fantastic restaurant, very modern and highly recommended

What a fantastic relaxed modern Indian restaurant and can’t recommend it enough. This restaurant is miles away from the traditional restaurants and brings a level of fusion to their food, Chicken Biryani Arancini sums it up, additionally not serving the traditional Indian beer but Asahi Japanese beer The menu is not huge and this is great because they concentrate on fantastic tasty food. The owner greets guests and then she explains the menu well and made the welcome very warm. Our group of 6 ordered a variety of dishes and all were amazing, the Calcutta Chilli chicken was amazing but pretty hot, my head sprung a leak!! The Samosa Chat complimented this and mellowed my mouth with stunning flavours The mains were all unbelievably tasty and stand out dishes were Lamb Malabar was stunning and the lamb plentiful, moist and delicious. The chicken Chettinand was tasty and the portions were perfect. My friend had the Pawn Moilee and she was very impressed with it. We ate well, drank plenty and £80 per couple was amazing value for money

enjoyed a very different and interesting curry -will definitely return. Negatives were: 1. Prices for a glass of wine seemed very expensive-£10 for 250 mi. 2. We waited what seemed like a long time for the expensive glass of wine-very apologetic but had forgotten! 3. starters a bit limited and again quite expensive 4. Main course served on cold plates 5. It seemed the waiting on staff more interested in having a chat as opposed to clearing plates and bringing bills 6. Greasy papadums!! Positives: 1. Lovely decor 2. Very tasty and well cooked curry-great variety of choice 3. Busy and good atmosphere

Decided to order my meal online to pick up at 6 pm. I got to the restaurant at 5.55 to find my takeaway ready! I got home, 10 minutes later, and whilst very tasty, everything was stone cold. Don't know what the problem is.. ...maybe prepared the meal too far in advance? I will try it again in the hope they get their timings better.

Me and my partner dined at NOMI on the last night of our holiday. The service was extremely rapid, seemingly getting our meal and drinks immediately after we ordered, and the staff were extremely friendly. We did however have to wait a very long time to leave, asking for the bill more than once. The food was unlike that found at most UK Indian restaurants, my curry was lightly seasoned and almost stew like? The starters came with sauces that had congealed tops due to the fact that they had been sat out for several hours. When we showed the waitress, she explained that the sauces had been sat out for several hours, endorsing the practice. An overall pleasant, if slightly bemusing experience!

What a lovely place to go eat and fantastic food to top that. We had such a lovely experience. Totally recommend 👌

A truly excellent meal. The balance of spices and ingredients was beautifully done. It's wonderful that a restaurant of such quality has established itself in Pwllheli.

First visit tonight and certainly not our last! Wow. The owner was fantastic, she knew exactly which dishes were able to be made vegan and which weren't and was very accommodating. The food itself was delicious - very fresh and well flavoured. Portion sizes were good, I had to have a take away box as was so full after my starter which was huge! We ended up having two starters, poppadoms (SO FRESH!), two mains, one rice portion, two pints and a coke and it came to just under £55 which I think is quite reasonable considering the quality, freshness and portion sizes. The restaurant itself has been done up really nice, great atmosphere overall and we can't wait to go back. Thank you Nomi, it's a treat having somewhere like this nearby. If I could make one request, it would be to add tofu on the menu - I think tofu would be amazing in the veggie/vegan dishes! 😊

Food very nice refined sophisticated blend of spices. It could become a touch of class. Early days yet. Our warm plates arrived followed sometime later by one curry. By that time plates were cold. We sampled the curry while waiting for the rest of our meal. Some dishes then arrived barely warm but they did reheat. Dishes in which they served the curry were far to big for the table and no warming facility either. Staff really very pleasant and knowledgeable.

It was the first time we had visited Nomi, on recommendation. The food was delicious. A starter, main course and dessert. In total we tasted five different items from the menu, all very flavoursome. Pricing is very reasonable. The front of house staff were friendly, attentive and professional. A great place to eat in Pwllheli, we have recommended to others and will be returning soon.

Amazing food. Fast efficient service. Popped in on the off chance, they managed to seat us, very friendly staff. Chef even came out to discuss dietary needs and recommended meals for a vegetarian, gluten free customer. We even booked again straight away for later in the week. Absolutely stunning food this evening at Nomi. Our first visit and will be back very soon. So good to see an Indian restaurant with a different menu to your usual curry houses. The cashew crusted prawns were fab as was the Mughlai chicken! Try it - you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Starter’s where nice ,mains where hit and miss as when arrived the two different curries looked the same almost like they were slow cooked and a bit flavourless shame ,very different style of Indian food ,staff are very polite and place was clean ,just not our cup of tea .

Have eaten in and had take-out as well, after experiencing the best curry, service and atmosphere for an Indian restaurant in North Wales! A real treat with carefully chosen specific dishes on offer - sublime flavours. Staff were attentive, chef came out to check our experience too, which was a nice touch. For take-away food the quality is the same, but I missed the lovely restaurant vibe!

I come from New Delhi, the land of Indian delicacies we all enjoy. I was not expecting that in this part of Northern Wales I will be able to enjoy such an authentic and relishing meal with my family.
